Sien of the best quality Asian take out in the Tableview area. (I have kissed a few frogs) I order from this husband and wife culinary power couple frequently, but it dawned upon me that I have never actually expressed on public forum how much I appreciate their food. Simply put their food is made with love. It’s obvious why their tiny store has been operating for about 20 years? Not sure about the number. The food is always fresh, delicious and made with care. They are also on Mr Delivery!

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Confused by the other reviews here. Spring rolls were gluey, chop suey was bland and tasteless, rice tasted cheaper than Tastic and the sweet and sour pork was overcooked. Won't ever order again

I wish I could give them more stars!! The food was absolutely amazing, their sweet and sour pork is worth buying the large meal for sure. We live in melkbosstrand which is quite far from the restaurant and they delivered our food faster than some places in the local area. Great service, friendly helpful staff, delicious food and at a very affordable price. I'll be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family and will definitely order from them again.

Lovely little take away. Their veg spring rolls are very tasty and freshly made every time. Also love their sweet and sour pork with rice- SO good. No option for dining in.

Okay food ... sweet and sour, chow mein and spring rolls all nice. Just DO NOT have the cashew nut chicken. Compared with the rest of what we had, it's not worth it at all and feels extremely overpriced. Basically a few small pieces of chicken, sprinkling of cashews, bland sauce ... but the main disappointment is that it's primarily McCain mixed frozen veg i.e. peas, carrots, corn. I've never had a Chinese dish like that in my life.

Amazing and authentic Chinese takeout owned and mostly run by a family. All food is prepared to order and as such have rather long waiting times, but it is all worth the wait. What most regular customers to this establishment do to combat the waiting times is to just give them a call and place your order, then pay when you collect. This makes the experience a whole lot easier and efficient.

Looks it's really good Chinese. Sweet 'n sour pork balls that'll leave you wanting more, and they're aware some prefer the sauce on the side. But you are going to WAIT for this food if you're ordering at supper time. A meal for 2-3 peeps will cost you about R200 and an hour's wait. Order it by phone, pop on a Game of Thrones, and get comfy...

Ordered sweet and sour Thai, we were only given the fried meat no rice however the menu specifies that its served with steamed rice. We called to inform them this but still nothing was done, we were basically told that there's nothing wrong with the order we received.

Shocking bad food. First time ever that I had a chicken chow main that didn't have a single piece of chicken in it. Sweet and sour pork was tough and hardly edible. They have No idea how to make a sweet and sour sause - just thick vinager. Hugely disappointed. Probably the worst Chinese meal I've ever had.

Absolutely AWESOME as usual. I've been abroad for 2 years, went to Hua Lien yesterday almost die and went to heaven. Still the same as when I was a 15 year old kid, I'm now 35 best Chinese ever.

Excellent Chinese meals and well priced. Worth a drive from where I live in Ferness estate to Tableview for a take away meal. Love their Hua Lien special of sweet and sour pork or chicken and steak/mushroom with rice for under R50. Well worth the drive for their authentic other meals as well.

Been around since the 90s. Best Chinese takeaways in Cape Town. Super affordable. Family run. I’ve been coming here for 22 years+. The place it’s self isn’t super inviting but don’t be deterred the food is great. Call and order ahead of time as they are very popular.

I enjoy their food. Always good. They have mixed box take aways, EG. Dinner for One, which consists of, Spring roll, Sweet & sour of your choice, Chop Suey or Chow Mein & rice for R60, which the other Chinese places closer to home does not do.

Many years ago (more than 10) someone recommended Hau Lien Chinese Take- Aways. Once you’ve had theirs, the other other Chinese take outs don’t compare. They have the best sweet and sour sauce. I love their Dinner for 1 with Chicken Chow

Best Chinese in Blouberg... we've become recent regulars. Only advice is to best phone an order through for delivery. I've always picked up and its been at least an hour from call to pick up. I will still maintain 5 star rating though ;)

Great tasting Chinese and a good price. Made to order and worth the wait. I suggest that you order by phone due to the waiting time. The Hau Lien Special is a favourite. I also like a Bow tie which I enjoy with a cup of tea afterwards.

Hua Lien is our go to Chinese Take out in Table View. The spring rolls, the chow mein, the sweet and sour chicken are THE BEST! The delivery time can take a while, but please don't pass up this experience! Gorgeous portions as well!

You cannot get better. The Shangai steak and sweet and sour pork are the best in Cape Town. Period.
