I love their groceries, this is for delivery services only. I'm a full-time single Dad of 2 young kids and have had enough of their negligence and lack of customer service. They have ruined enough meals not to post this. I use Food Apps and Mealtime to Go frequently. Hyvee is the worst for getting orders correct, having them ready for drivers and worst of all confirming orders and then canceling them 45 minutes to 1 hr later because they drop the ball. If it was for myself, I wouldn't care. However, what they do to customers with children and individual drivers is wrong on so many levels... I can not believe they can still operate on apps with as many times as they've failed on my orders alone. That goes from confirming orders and time frames, then dropping the ball to do their job and actually fulfill the order, start preparing the orders and getting them right, having them ready when they say or just canceling orders 40 minutes to 1 hr after confirming and/or receiving them. It's Sad for drivers from wasting their time, gas money and ultimately compensation by not starting an order until a driver arrives and therefore wasting that persons time, money and reviews. Yet, they cannot even do the smallest thing and cancel an order and try to push it on a customer knowing the customer gets charged when it's not their fault. I'll still order but will be the pickiest customer for time and quality of food. I will continue the reviews as long as it takes for them to improve or get kicked from the app based drivers. No I'm not a delivery person but feel bad for them bc they loose more than a customer after wasted time, gas and potentially other orders they'd be compensated for. If you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen (or in your case get off the apps).

The most horrendous experience with the flower shop. I called at 1:30 pm and asked for 3 flower arrangements 35.00 dollars a piece for three coworkers. I asked for the arrangements to be different and pretty. I asked to pick them up at 5pm. I went there on time and had to wait for the customer ahead of me who was getting a flower arrangement with two red roses and 4 sunflowers. It turn out beautiful. When they brought my flower arrangements out they were so small than the three of them looked like one. Each had one large flower and three baby roses. The rest was foliage. They were the same arrangement and so small they will not measure ten 8 inches. The flowers were completely opened about to lose the petals which tell me they used the flowers that they were going to throw away that day. I asked if they could please at least give the plant food packages and perhaps she did not listen to me the same way the employee that took the order did not listen to me. All an all I WAS ROBBED 115.00 dollars. The sad part is that at no point whatsoever the staff lady took a minute to look at me in the face and give me an honest I’m sorry. That is all I need it. I deserve to be looked at even if I look different from you. My money is just as good as anyone else’s. I want to alert everyone that at hyvees nw 64th street kc mo people like me are not worth a simple eye contact and an apology. By the way remember the customer ahead of me with the two red roses and 4 sunflowers he payed less than 35.00.

Have been a HyVee shopper for my lifetime. Have tried HyVee aisles twice at this location. It doesn't seem organized and doesn't matter when you select a time. It wasn't ready. Additionally on the most recent order they asked if they could substitute items. Being my second time I absolutley agreed thinking I'd be charged the lower price. Nope. I had selected "no substitutes" when checking out so that disqualifies me for getting the lower price. I pointed out that this was the second time I've used aisles and that by reaching out to ask to substitute when I selected no substitutes makes no sense if they weren't going to give me the lower price. I assumed (silly me) that since they were reaching out to check if substitutes were ok for some items, it would be at the lower price. I was also charged for items I didn't receive and haven't heard back on this issue yet. I understand the concept of "if you select no substitutes then no substitutes will be made if an item is out of stock". But when the shopper is texting and asking about a couple of the items, I really didn't think they would charge the substitute items price. My experince thus far with whomever manages their aisles customer service has less than productive as its just unproductive and borderline condescending . Very disappointing experice and makes me very thankful that Aldi, Price Chopper, and Sprouts is so close.

So you guys will be aware ... Finding more and more problems in the Quality of : produce and fruits vegetables don't last long...and there are other items. Recently the store was rearranged. Made it very difficult to find what I needed. It's going through all that trouble it would be a good idea to let customers know in some way...maybe to give you better direction. There are three aisles that have water on them , one of your employees pointed that out to me when I asked him where to find the "Propel Water". signs on the floor or something showing where to get the item they're looking for. Takes twice as long to shop because of that and I've been very sick and life is too short to spend more time in a grocery store because of changes. I go to the I-29 and 64th Street Hy-Vee in Kansas City Missouri 64151 mostly because I get my Prescriptions there and I live right on the other side of the highway. Walmart has my business for now. The confusion that I've been experiencing is frustrating. And I see a lot of other people just as frustrated because everybody has to multitask and is on a time schedule. I hate to say it but Walmart has my business right now for home delivery. Hy-Vee's HAD my business for a lot of years let's see what changes need to be made in order to keep your customers. Went to the kitchen/breakfast/whataburger site today. The person who took my order was the lead and not very pleasant with me. She seemed annoyed to have to take my order. I was asking basic questions about pricing since I haven't been there before for breakfast. Only asked one thing about biscuits and gravy then when I went to ask about eggs on the side she claims couldn't even tell me that without starting the order. She was pretty snippy with me as said "Name?!" vs like in a polite way, can I get a name for your order? Thought she was being pretty rude and muffled that under my breath as I was getting annoyed myself with her. She was like "Excuse me?! Then continued on pounding on the computer taking my order. Not very professional to me at all. Watched how she handled others was "acting nice" to them. Also tell your workers to not wipe their nose with the hand they use to give back money. Witnessed that happen where one worker did that to another customer. Update: Reached out to the store email when this happened received no follow up. Also Switch back to the old lo mein noodle style of wide noodles. This new way of doing them is no good. Just like a glob of stuff together.

This location is very hit or miss in all aspects. Customer service has been slacking a LOT lately. Rude employees, most don’t even know where to find something when you ask. They keep changing the layout which only adds to the frustration…can’t find anything anymore. Prices are skyrocketing, saw an older couple purchase five produce items and it was $23. Ridiculous. I have acquired three already EXPIRED products while shopping and didn’t notice until I was home. I assumed that the employees would be checking the labels instead of just throwing products onto the shelves. Beware…some of the drinks in the coolers at checkout are cracked open and taste stale…again not checking what they’re stocking. Same with the Fast and “Fresh”, almost every time I get something from there it’s cold and has been sitting out. Quality is going downhill very, very fast. I used to love shopping here, but now I’m hesitant every time I go. Just seems like they don’t care anymore. Hy-Vee, do better!!! Smh.

Wish I could give zero stars. If you order from aisles online (giving plenty of time to fulfill the order), pay for your groceries, never get the groceries after waiting over an HOUR at the store, and spend ANOTHER 3+ hours trying to track the groceries down, they will still not refund your money. Wasted a ridiculous amount of time on groceries I could have shopped for myself in 45 mins. And now only being offered a Hyvee gift card as my "refund" for the groceries I never even touched. I have never in my life experienced as poor of customer service as I did from Angela, the aisles online "manager". Will never be returning to this Hyvee. Hoping someone is willing to make this right since I just want my money back, and NOT in the form of a gift card.

The manager this morning was rude and told me, I can't use another card with online orders. Told me they pop up red flags and he denied my daughter the products I bought! It's my card which he did not run through, he told me it would be 5 to 7 days to approve the charges! No where online does it say I have to use the same card,!!! When I do shopping there I don't use the same card It was not alcohol, nothing flammable,! Wish I got his name!! Because I would blast it on every sentence of this complaint! No manager should be able to tell you what you can and can't buy online! I hit the Maximum amount to place the order!!! We will never step foot in that HYVEE again!! Let me tell you every other employee was wonderful!! But that Manager!!!!!!

This review is only for the Bakery. Grocery store is a good store overall. I Would not recommend Birthday cakes here. If you are trying to add an image to the cake. They are terrible at it. Looks like a piece of paper just taped to the top of the cake. Consintinos downtown KC transfers images flawlessly onto the cake. So we figured Hy-vee who must do even more cakes then a grocery store downtown would be better. Thats a negative. Also the writing on the cake was terrible. Not sure if they were trying for something cute or what. We even chose this Hyvee over the one closer to to us as this Hyvee is much newer and nicer. Figured they would have the best bakery. Negative As for a grocery store in general. Top notch. Bakery not so much.

A year a go, I got hamburger from the counter. He handed me one that someone had gotten, shopped the store and then decided they didn't want it... A year passes thought I'd try the store again. Was completely ignored in the bakery. Then finally after about 10 mintues of them staring at me they ask me "what do you need". I said I have questions about getting a cake made. They said they coudn't help me i would need to talk to the lady that makes them, and told me to wait a minute she'd be right back. I waited 10 minutes. I shopped for my other stuff then came back still gone. If you buy stuff off the shelf, this store is great. Untill you try to use their self checkout.

My first time shopping for groceries at this location. Compared to other Hy-Vee locations in the Kansas City metropolitan area, many items seem almost backwards where they should be located. Therefore, it took twice as long to find said items. Self checkout was pretty easy and when I couldn't get coupons to show up that I scanned in, a very nice lady who worked here came over to help me finish my transaction. I'm a substitute teacher for Park Hill Schools. It had been a long Friday with a Kindergarten class and I really wanted to get home ASAP. Thankfully, parking and shopping here was pretty quick considering I didn't know the layout of this grocery store.

I'm not used to living in area with a Hy-Vee nearby so I've never been a regular customer but as a contract shopper, I've been here multiple times a day and the experience is great. I truly enjoy shopping here especially because asking for help us easy and every employee goes above and beyond to help me find something. I'll about one item and they'll glance at my whole list and order help. Even a young lady who I thought was a customer (who might be an employee who was of schedule) helped answer my question. And hearing the game on the radio when I couldn't be home... thank you!

HyVee almost always has what I need and staff are always friendly and helpful. Sale prices are good and competitive but otherwise full price items that I purchase are generally substantially higher than other stores for the items I buy. These batteries are priced 300% higher than what I can find at other stores that sell larger quantities — one of the more extreme examples. Yet, this Dr Pepper Zero Sugar was a real bargain on sale. I don’t buy produce unless it’s steeply discounted or I have an urgent need (and therefore price becomes unimportant for that one item).

I love Hy-Vee stores. However, whatever you do, do not do Hy-Vee aisles online at this location. The past couple months, it has been an utter disaster. You can expect to wait at least 30 minutes for your groceries. I use curbside to save time and this takes longer than it would to go in and shop. I have tried calling in when the waits get excessive and they do not do anything to assist or make the situation better. I do not know what happened - this location used to be great but they are obviously having some serious issues that they can’t figure out how to resolve.

Every time I use the Check-out line (not self check-out) I am missing items. Every time the baggers seem to get everything in the cart except for one item. I like shopping at this Hy-vee. You have the things I need, but I will just find somewhere else to go if the baggers cant get everything I paid for in my cart. Worst part is, I looked back this last time I went to check to see if I missed something but nope, so where is my stuff. Even worse, if I did over look it, why isn't someone saying "hey sir you forgot this". tired of losing money with this Hy-vee.

I love Hy-Vee simply because it feels like we are all family instead of Customers. I love the Cashiers as well, because they always have a smile and there is one in particular that always asks me about my Mom, and that is so very priceless and emotional that someone cares. I love the cleanliness, atmosphere, food choices, fresh meats, and other Staffing as well. I am shopping at Hy-Vee 3 times a week and I love it, because I know that I am not going to be disappointed by my purchases or Staffing. It's actually therapeutic shopping at Hy-Vee.

First time at wahlburger at Hy-veeand this is my experience. We went to the bar and grill in Hy-Vee to watch the game Sunday. Had awesome service from Melissa and her other workers that afternoon. Love the team work and such a fun environment. Now as far as food, get up there and get a zardas barbecue sandwich. That and the fries were AMAZING! I'm just bummed that it's only for a limited time. Get it while they last. Totally worth it. Otherwise a few good menus items I'll have to try next time. Keep it up all!

Ask employees for help at your own risk. The young girls there seem to only be there to look cute and socialize with their other co workers. They seem to have a slight attitude if you "bother" them with questions. The white tall male manager seems as though he has more of an interest in protecting and coddling his employees than ensuring good customer service. On a good note they do have some nice helpfull employees but the overall vibe seems to be dont bother the hyvee family(The staff).

Do not order catering- $25 on an absolute pathetic fruit tray, not fresh, not cut well, complete waste of money. And the $75 English charcuterie board was all grapes, one package of salami and some poorly cut cheese, should have made my own - I’m so disappointed. Update- I tried to reach out per the comment below, literally no one would talk to me despite the direct message asking for a call to discuss. Don’t waste your money, no one will help you.

Got salmon yesterday, today it’s on sale. Manager was so rude and said he won’t return because I know your just wanting a reduced cost? Okay and? At Aldi we took any and everything back no questions asked, produce, meat, anything. If I buy a shirt and then now it’s on sale and I return it just to buy it again clothing stores will not care!! It’s unopened, untouched and perfectly fine. That’s absolutely ridiculous. And his tone made it even worse.

I visited the pharmacy. The techs were excellent! They were able to answer questions & they were super friendly. Update: 5/10/23 I was grocery shopping. I'm really becoming a Hy-Vee shopper. It took me a few years, but I find their prices aren't that bad, food selection is good, their meats are great...a bit more expensive, but for the quality...I don't mind. The workers are super friendly and the parking lot & lines are NOT a hassle.

Great selection of everything compared to the Hy-Vee in Gladstone. Whalburgers was awesome! Not over priced or over rated!The burger salad was very unique, especially since I can't eat bread or very little, delicious and the Whal sauce, so delicious! Yes, Thousand Island comes to mind but the finish is light on the sweet note with a refreshing clean finish!!! and the pork tenderloin the best I've ever had!!!!

Every since the Gladstone Hy-Vee closed, I shop at this one. The strawberries were pretty moldy tonight and were the last time I shopped for themas well :( I think they have a good fresh baked bread selection. I like the jalapeños cheddar bread. I bought some Carne Asada already marinated that I am excited to make for dinner tonight. I earned an extra 45 cents off my gas since since I spent $45 on a Monday.

Whenever you buy products here you need to check expiration date. Isn’t it their job to display right item? It is 3rd time for me to buy items expired. What a waste of my money!!! I bought organic frozen waffle last Sunday 26th Feb but waffle was already expired 22nd Feb. My kid already took one this morning i didn’t noticed at that time. I am so upset!! I will return it this weekend to get refund.

For some reason this location has decided it’s appropriate to have armed security…yes at a grocery store. I saw a really inappropriate situation today in which they followed a black women and her child out to her car when she clearly had paid for her things. (To which I saw her bravely go back in and return everything she just got) Not motivated to got to any Hy-Vees until this changes

Just went through the self check out. Older white lady attendant was up front. She stopped her conversation short with a customer just to come over and watch me scan my items. As soon as I scanned the last item, she went back up front. Regular clothes, my fire uniform, or even with my kid, this lady has done this to me. Finally told a manager today. Doubt they do anything.

Worst hy-vee in the Kansas City area. Terrible at restocking products, USPS computer system is “down” 95% of the time you try and drop packages off there, and just all around the worst hy-vee location in the area. I highly, highly recommend driving the extra 15 minutes and going to a hy-ver location that’s competently ran/managed, because this ain’t it.

I don't think I've ever had less than excellent service at this store. Legit, if they see you looking for some item, like in the past week, a nice young man asked and offered info on why they had no organic farms whipping cream. So helpful to me to get great service. I liked the butcher, the bread slicer, chicken wing cook. Sample gal, was just great!

I love the store and the employees. However the website need to become more user friendly-most importantly deals that expire shouldn't remain posted or mark expired. The dates on line don't always match up with the cashier. I've had to start checking each item today I gave back 2 items there were two others but I didn't want to hold the line.

I’m not sure if this should reflect on the New Wahlburgers at Hyvee or Hyvee themselves. Bought this salad which was priced at 9.99 plus 2.49 for adding chicken. The tray wasn’t even have full and barley contained the original listed ingredients. I actually love going to Hyvee but this was without a doubt the worst experience there ever.

Every time I have done grocery pickup it has been the biggest headache. It is supposed to be a convenient way to get my groceries and it is the complete opposite. There is always a long wait and none of the employees seem to know what is going on. The whole process is horrible and I will definitely won’t be shopping this location again.

This review is for the Gladstone Hyvee. It's terrible! Over the years they have reduced the fuel saver program to it's now bare minimum. After the pandemic they never brought back the salad bar and now they have removed the fresh salads from the deli. All this AND having the highest prices in town. I'm done Hyvee!!!

I love this store absolutely spotless. Everything is vary neat and clean. They also have many things I wouldn't expect or find elsewhere. I am in love with the Ellsworth cooperative creamery cheese curds. Over all their prices aren't as low as say walmart but the quality, variety, and atmosphere is much better.

The quality of people has gone down or bad management. WHY would you put someone that don't know how to do HyVee cards or enter card. Then customer service is no better said i needed to know the hyvee perks items even that's not my job when it wasn't done right from the start. Better off going to Wal-Mart.

Great store. Ordered a pizza and shopped for some items while waiting. They had a frozen vegan sushi that I had seen advertised. Associate didn't know where it was located but I found it and their selection was very good. I am a big fan of this grocery chain and will visit this location again

Helpful smile in every isle...pretty much true. The staff are attentive, but the managers seem to move things around randomly, so sometimes difficult to find what I am looking for. Lucky there are signs that direct me. Good choices of food, and I find the hyvee brand to be perfectly fine.

Used to love and be loyal to Hyvee. But so tired of empty shelves COVID is over. Prices have become outrageous too. Also, the ads that end up ridiculous. Unless you’re there at 6 am you can’t get a special priced item. Get more product and put it out throughout the day

I love this store it has such a variety of many different items, and the choices are endless. They have quality items such as clothes for kids and I think they still have shoes. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Store is very clean and well stocked.

I had accidentally pulled up to a gas filling station without the gas pump after inserting my card and had issues cancelling the transaction. Luckily, Barry (manager?) came out with me since the fast & Fresh was closed and he helped me cancel the transaction.

Great store lot's of reasons to shop there. Filled my gas tank for $1.86 a gallon after discount. What's not to love. LoL Grabbed a pre made dinner for my overnight shift. In and out less than 5 minutes.

EBT's Purchase cold food, eat in the restaurant, microwave and fountain cold drinks with ice. Gas station has Caribou Coffee with dining and restrooms. Lots of EBT choices. Sit down... relax for a few!!

Always a good selection. I love the Perks program, especially the $ off gas. Their prices are a little higher, but I enjoy shopping there.
