Stayed at room 609 for 6 nights April 2023. After staying at Park Hyatt in Paris and Milan, we found ourselves at the Hyatt Regency Nice– our third Hyatt stop on this adventure. Let me tell you, the location couldn't have been better. It's just a short walk from the Nice train station, and guess what? When you step out, bam! You're right by the ocean, and smack in the middle of the famous Promenade des Anglais. Our room was 609, and boy, when we walked in, we were over the moon. The view was unreal – all those gorgeous blues from the sea and the sky, with a pool right below. The lobby was grand with high ceilings and a real touch of luxury. And can we talk about the staff? Super friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet? Well, it was great, but I gotta admit, it didn't quite match up to the ones in the Park Hyatt Paris and Milan. Now, let's chat about the swimming pool. It was a total stunner, and the temperature was just perfect, especially for early April. And guess what? We lucked out – the place wasn't crowded at all. We kicked back here for a solid 6 nights, and boy, did we explore. We even took side trips to Morocco, Eze, Villefranche-sur-Mer, and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat – so many amazing memories. You know what the best part was? We practically lived on the Promenade des Anglais. We strolled day and night, catching the sunrise and sunset. There was this awesome scene with artists painting, people roller skating with style, and just folks chilling on benches, soaking in the sea breeze and those soothing ocean sounds. Oh, and speaking of scenes, right in front of the hotel, there's a touching memorial for the victims of the 2016 Bastille Day attack in Nice. It really makes you pause and reflect. Foodie alert! There are loads of top-rated restaurants nearby. Seriously, you won't even need to go to the same place twice. Variety galore! And hey, if you need to get around, Uber is your buddy. We'd often find one waiting right outside the hotel – talk about convenience, right? So, there you have it, our experience at the Nice Hyatt summed up. Location, views, vibes – it's got it all. Updating review the hotel management reached out and apologized for the poor experience and made it right. Thank you for caring about my experience. Great location right where you want to be staying for a week in Nice! We had an absolute blast and wonderful time. Hotel marked down due to lack of equal treatment from staff. Serge should be looking into a huge overhaul of training and respect for all customers. He treats you like a child and puts other guests a head of you. He got a note to please contact our room because he was missing from the concierge desk when we stopped by waited 45 minutes when was told it’d be a few minutes to go down and have him tell us “let me guess room ***” to which I politely said yes then he responded “well I got the note but I can’t let you use the luggage scale because a guest tomorrow morning needs it.” Taken a back I began to speak when he said “well I guess I can follow you to your room and then when you’re don’t bring it back down.” We are not school children we are adults paying money to stay at your hotel and services. I’m the guest with you now so please just take care of me. He was dismissive and after we advised we are late for dinner reservations due to him he didn’t care and said you can let my “friend know when you come back that I said you can use it as long as it’s back to night for my other guest not guests one in particular. He’s “friend” had the same dismissive attitude and advised us that we had to bring it back tonight as well. Say again that guest needs it in the morning. I have no issue with being a team player and bringing it back but I don’t need to be spoken down to and treated poorly for not meeting whatever Serge wants met. I manage a team of 25 people required to provide customer service and I would be for trying to train and firing in no improvement. In the photos are the two best staff in the hotel we interacted with knowing how to treat all customers the same!

So, you are searching the web because you need a hotel in Nice - you need to stop searching and immediately book the Hyatt. This is a beautiful property that looks right out onto the blue, blue water. With their partnership with the Ruhl Plage club - you can have indoor pool, outdoor pool or beach! With the beach club, the concierge can reserve beds and umbrella for you so you don’t have to stand in line (when I tell you line - it’s LONG! So this service is worth the price of the hotel alone.) The pools at the hotel are gorgeous and clean. The breakfast (by the pool) - with views of the beach - is spectacular. The service is impeccable - we only asked for a few things but they were happy to accommodate. Check-in staff were SO NICE! Rooms are spacious! Ours has a lovely deck where I sit and have morning coffee (Nespresso machine in room) or to sit with some wine at end of the day. They really take care of you here, and we appreciate it. Worth every penny, so if you are looking to spend less, DON’T! Spend the money and you will be happy you did! Thanks Hyatt Nice for being everything we hoped you would be, and more.

Absolutely the best hotel to stay in Nice! Fantastic location facing the beach/Promenade des Anglais. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, and sights…and to the train station for day trips. There are buses too right outside that go to the airport and destinations along the French Riviera. But what sets this hotel apart is the management/staff. A gentleman from Reception came up to show us highlights of our room. We had a minor issue with toiletries, and it was rectified instantly and followed up with a note and more. Everyone at the concierge was outstanding. Greg went out of his way to help with our delayed luggage even after we had left the hotel. Both he and Serge exuded warmth and kindness, gave us the best restaurant recommendations, and shared insider tips for exploring Nice and beyond. They were like our family in Nice. Although we stayed at higher category Hyatts during our trip, the Hyatt Regency Nice is the one that stands out as our favorite. Highly recommended!

This hyatt has some really high ratings and reviews online and is described as a 5 start hotel which is not accurate. Perhaps 30 years ago it was but it is a 3 star hotel connected to a casino in a good location. The rooms were horrible to disappointing (we were in two of them). Dirty, stained, smelly, old, and small. The pool area was ok but crazy dated. The best part of the hotel were the front of house staff which were very pleasant. Obviously we don't recommend this hotel but really we wouldn't at any price. There are so many other options in the area just go anywhere else. Even basic entry level class Hyatts are better than this one. We canceled the rest of our stay and went back to the Carlton Cannes for a real 5 star experience.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée, some time ago and it exceeded all of my expectations. I was impressed by the level of professionalism and attention to detail exhibited by the staff. The hotel itself is a true gem, blending modern elegance with a touch of Mediterranean charm. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-appointed, offering stunning views of the sea. The location was simply perfect, with the Promenade des Anglais just steps away and easy access to the city's vibrant nightlife and cultural attractions.

Dimanche midi pour le brunch en terrasse "intérieure-exterieure". Service impeccable et aimable, bravo. Buffet très qualitatif avec plusieurs spécialités et produits locaux. Et surtout, la vue sur la Baie des Anges. Selon certains, le brunch avec la plus belle vue au monde. Un point négatif : la musique... toujours trop forte et trop présente. Mais c'est une constante dans les restaurants qui se veulent branchés, à Nice. Personnellement, je viens pour discuter avec des amis et ce bruit finit par fatiguer. Les responsables devraient réfléchir à mettre moins de volume ou de hauts parleurs. D'autant que cette terrasse est aux trois quarts fermée, donc il y a pas mal d'écho.

Ma sœur et moi avons été au restaurant le 3e au sein de ce bel hôtel, et nous avons vraiment apprécié le décor ainsi que l'ambiance proposée par le petit concert se produisant sur la terrasse. La cuisine quand à elle était extra, un régal. Merci aux équipes en cuisine pour la préparation des si beaux et bons plats qui nous ont été servis. Et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la présence de Mélanie, notre serveuse. Une personne possédant de grandes qualités humaines, un sens du service, et qui est drôle. Merci à elle d'avoir porté une touche très agréable, à notre belle soirée.

This is my second stay in the Hyatt at Nice. A great property with amazing service and staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable concierge service especially Geoffrey and Agathe. Despite being a busy hotel in summer as expected, we still Enjoyed our stay and staff was very attentive to our needs. I would very likely come back in the future.

This was the best Hyatt experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I read through so many reviews thinking I was gambling with my vacation fate, but this was absolutely amazing. From the moment of check in through check out, it was all positive. As a globalist, I stay at many Hyatt hotels, and this was just a very special experience. If you go, be sure to work with Nicholas (concierge) who worked magic at the last minute to make reservations on a holiday at two fabulous restaurants. Highly recommend!!

great experience, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the view was amazing, breakfast buffet was delicious and a wide range of different options & you can even get ur breakfast delivered to your room. the only downside was the parking. you have to pay the normal parking price for the car park. its the only way to park your car and its great that a car park is right next to the hotel but in our opinion a discount wouldve been appropriate.

Mon expérience est relative au BRUNCH du dimanche extrêmement décevant! Le buffet d'entrées se compose d'une salade niçoise et d'une salade césar à composer soi même , quelques charcuteries et saumon fumé.. le buffet de desserts n'a rien à envier à son premier.. mignardises qui ressemblent à de la patisserie industrielle et très peu de choix pour un hôtel de cette catégorie. Passez votre chemin pour le brunch à Nice il y a bien mieux ailleurs !

Très décevant, vendu comme restaurant mais finalement c’est un restaurant de piscine. Beau cocktail mais carte peu élaborée, et pas convaincant au niveau de la viande. C’était une surprise pour mon anniversaire on s’attendait à un vrai restaurant avec une meilleure vue que celle des chambres qui nous regardent manger ou des avions de ligne qui passe juste devant

This was definitely my highlight of our stay in Nice! Everything about this hotel is just out of this work! I love Nice but this hotel made our experience simply amazing. Would highly recommend if you want an amazing holiday weekend experience…. Special thanks to the staff for making it wonderful for my mother who I brought here to celebrate her 60th birthday….I will definitely come back here

A lovely restaurant with a set lunch and dinner menu as well as a la carte. Good food and service and the set lunch menu is great value. You can eat out on the terrace directly on the promenade des anglaise looking onto the sea front or inside in the air conditioned room.Would definitely recommend.

I attended an event here and the setting was fantastic. We visited the bar on the 3rd floor prior to the event and we were really looked after - service was distinct and professional. The event staff did an amazing job of hosting the guests attending - wine glass was never empty!

Du Palais de la Méditerranée originel, il ne reste que deux façades Art Déco qui faillirent disparaitre au début des années 90. L'établissement actuel est cependant à la hauteur de son illustre prédécesseur et tout est fait pour que le séjour dans ce Palace soit des plus réussi.

Bon emplacement pour cet hôtel. Toutefois, un rafraîchissement des chambres est plus que nécessaire ainsi qu’une grande partie de l’espace pool extérieur. Bon petit dej, copieux, conforme aux standards.
