18 March - just had another amazing experience here thanks to Felicity, she never ceases to smile and helps you out to make sure you're accounted for. This again is exactly what customer service should be as she is definitely a role model for what excellent customer service should be. Massive shoutout to Connor today for giving me the absolute best customer service. Every request for two types of shoes I was looking for he was accomodating to be offer straight up to go right to the warehouse and pick up and check a pair (which wasn't far away). Made sure he was speedy with his responses to my requests in trying sizes to make sure I knew which ones I was most satisfied with, comfortable and always letting me know to stay seated and he'll fetch or check for me and made sure to bring me back qualitative responses and extra information. The rest of the staff there are friendly and great to have some small talk with, doesn't feel awkward or that they're trying to force a sale on you. As a manager of a support team in my company, he definitely was patient, polite and responsive which is a prime example of excellent customer support at a high level of standard which earned him a sale today. Please pass this review onto him as it's well deserved. I hope you keep him on the team long term, ensure he's compensated and recognised well for the incredible service he delivers for your company.

Absolute worst customer service. Walked in, no staff on shop floor. Had to yell out “hello” and then someone came out with doll like makeup and long blonde hair which is irrelevant but purposeful. I enquired about Puma she pointed to the wall, I asked for clearance items she said if it’s not on the wall we don’t have. Didn’t offer anything similar or even suggest a different shoe brand. She ran straight into the back room and left me on the shop floor by myself. The gentleman at the Pitt street store was kind and appreciative of the feedback. Will never go to mid city again. Appalling. This girl needs to be performance managed for sure. Good luck to her.

I was a loyalty customer, have spent so much money always buying there but the first time that I had an issue with their products, because bad quality and faulty shoes, their response was absolutely out of order. I have a big complaint, after the first use of an expensive shoes, the colour of leather changed, of course it is cover by the warranty, but the manager said me: I can't do anything for you because you used your shoes out, and people need to try them in their houses first. What the hell!!! Who does buy a shoes to use In home?? That is ridiculous. You just stoled my money in my face, you don't know anything about customer service.

Horrible customer service. First of all we were not greeted at all. Not upon entry or exit or anywhere in between. We had to approach the 3 available staff to get a size. The size we requested was not in stock. The young girl stated she can order them in and when we replied we don't live here she walked away. If they don't have what I wanted they should offer an alternative or see if surrounding stores may have that size available. Horrible customer service. We are visiting from QLD, will not be back to this store!

Entering this store feels exciting and overwhelming at the same time. There's so much to choose from, styles, brands, colours, etc. It was very quiet when I visited here (being a Sunday), minimal staff serving but adequate. Friendly enough to answer questions, offer recommendations without pressuring you to buy. It's well set up, brightly lit with enough spaces to manoeuvre around this store. Price wise, not as competitive but good to check out the stock and compare prices. A friendly atmosphere really.

Worst customer service.. Needed a size 7 shoe. Pitts St store told me The store at Market city has it. Went to Market city store. They didn't have it either and told me the Midcity store has it. They even called the other store to confirm. Went there only to find They didn't have and told me that the store at Pitt st definitely has it. So i went back to pitt.. And now they tell me they just sold the last pair.. Never shopping at Hype anymore

Shockingly bad customer service. The gentleman serving me couldn't even remember the shoe size I asked to try on! When he was reminded he told me that they didn’t have them in my size and walked away. No apology, no offer of different shoes available in my size, no offer to see if another store had them. The attractive lady near me got much better service. I guess they are literally trying to screw their customers!

Awful experience for 2 times and never ever gonna back there as this company literally has very disappointing customer service in very brief. (They first and last rule is do not trust customer and not Australian standard in general!)

Waited for 30 mins - busy store and understaffed. The person serving was lovely, however she brought out the wrong shoes twice. Would not recommend if you are in a hurry.

Hype DC on market has heaps of range and the staff members are great. Nice and friendly but they're always busy, so you may have to be a bit patient!

Great service and not pushy. They have a large collection and it's usually quite busy. Hype DC has the exclusive and newest sneakers.
