Very nice, clean, bright-ambiance grocery store that was well staffed and appears to be a great asset to this suburban community that I was visiting. To be fair, my time there was brief as I was a tourist in search of one item. It was a plus for me that they had a liquor store (or "bottle store" as the Aussies say) in their building.
I ve been shopping here for a decade. They are local and competitive against the 2 other retailers that have a cartel. Tge have a selection of health foods and vegan and foreign foods. I like that I get served by a person and it's not self serve, so I know my money is going to support Aussie jobs, and not multinational companies.
My partner and myself regularly attend this IGA in Dullwhich Hill, we live in Marrickville but this shopping centre is extremely convenient for us. It has everything fresh, dairy or other assorted products that we may need at some point. That's why I give our local IGA a big 5 STARS.*
A great range of specialist and deli products, an Asian food section, as well as regular supermarket items. Fresh produce is great, both fruit & veg and cuts of meat, with a wide range of biscuits, cookies, slices and baklavas as well. A good range of ready meals and fresh pizzas too.
The manager asked me to leave as I was holding my 10 week old puppy in the store who I can't leave outside. I explained this to him yet he was not understanding and rude. I understand if it was an adult dog but it was a bit ridiculous. Will not be shopping here after that experience.
very rude and inconsiderate staff work here....I have shopped at other IGAs and never before have I been soo applauded by the behaviour of staff...great selection but very poor staffing policy...they should get rid of Rhonda and there are other people that say things about her
I am always greeted with a smile and a "hello" by staff. IGA Dulwich Hill have everything I need at reasonable prices. I always receive professional, polite and respectful service. The trolley service is fantastic when required. Keep up the good work!
Great fruit and veggies. Excellent range of items for such a small supermarket. However, have bought chicken here and twice I’ve had to return it because it was off. Fridges aren’t cold enough? Not sure. Just be very wary when buying any meat.
I went to buy eggs today and there were two issues, one minor and one major. Pope’s 600g free range farm eggs are $5.50 (in comparison, the Woolworth’ s ones which are $4.50). I started rummaging through the pile of egg cartons to make sure
This is the worst supermarket I have ever attended. I have lived in the inner west all my life and I can say for sure, the owner of this supermarket is not one with the community. The worker harrassed me for having my 8 week old puppy in my
I love my local IGA! They have so many vegan, organic, gluten-free, vegetarian and/or local items I'm always so impressed. I like to stroll there when I'm uninspired for what to cook and always end up grabbing lots of super cheap (reduced
the older lady worker treats every young person like scum. I walked in and could not buy anything due to the ridiculous prices not to mention cold drinks are more expensive! a cold redbull is 50c more than a non cold redbull??? Except if
I have to say this is the best IGA I have been to. It is one very large floor plan with so much fresh produce and an abunce of multicultural ingredients. It may be a bit more pricey on some things but, there is always a surprise item you
Been shopping here in person for the past two years (and during a pandemic!) and the produce is always great. Good variety. Staff are wonderful. Prices are higher than some places and would be great to have more gluten free options in
The fresh food selection is the standout but everything else is minimal and expensive. Their meat isn't always fresh and I've had to throw it out a day after purchase (due to it smelling funky) at times which is such a waste.
Great staff, very friendly, professional and assisting. Always have freshly stacked shelves and the place is so well kept by the hard work of the people who work there. A big heart hub of the community - Steve (local)
Great local IGA. Fruit and Veg excellent quality and great range. I always find grocery items that are not available in the duopoly.. "big two". Staff are friendly and helpful. The shop is ALWAYS clean and tidy
For a smaller supermarket they have an amazing range and competitive prices. Friendly and helpful staff and always have enough checkouts operating for a quick and easy end to your shopping experience with them.
Updated review: They have now extended their weekend trading hours - Fantastic work! Staff seem more relaxed and its now a more pleasant experience, maybe they had
Good variety of import products, great specials on everyday items with quick and friendly service from happy staff make it a pleasure to shop …
This is a great little IGA. What I like about IGA supermarkets is the diversity of products on offer. Also the choice of brands in any category.
I find IGA a little pricier than Woolies, but good for convenience, and there's always parking in the lot behind it or the one near the library.
I love my new local IGA. It has everything, the staff are lovely and it's so much nicer and convenient than going to one of the big supermarkets.
IGA Dulwich Hill has a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, and speciality items. The staff are always friendly and happy to assist.
Over priced to the core good location amongst other shops in Dulwich Hill growing area near bus stops but staff were a bit bland
Fruit veg great value meat dept needs attention great staff proffessional joyful and will go out of therr way to help
Staff are friendly and helpful. Check outs are quick. Never had to wait very long. They stock all my favorites.
I used to like going here as they carried a couple of speciality items I could not get elsewhere.
Well stocked, great local business with parking right in front
Iv brought off fruit they say it's fresh but not what I got
