It's a great experience to eat and soak in the serene beauty of the fountain by the glass walls. This cafeteria location is multiple times more popular and bigger than Indiana State museum AND eiteljorg museum Cafe that Kahn's Catering also serves.

Pretty horrible for food allergies. Specifically, nuts. Nuts on a bunch of items and they do confirm they have cross contamination. We spoke to a person working there and reviewed the menu. There’s just no safe options for us, so we had to leave to find a restaurant that was safe for us. This lack of options for food allergies was common 10-15 years ago, but now almost all restaurants list things that are free from nuts so there are at least options. With the amount of children that go to this museum, and the prevalence of food allergies, it is bizarre that this cafe is so behind. Do better Newfields.

The seafood bisque was awesome. The place was packed though. The grilled cheese sandwich was okain't nothing to brag about, but the salad was really good as well.

One of the best meals I had in a long time! The club sandwich and minestrone soup was delicious. My wife enjoyed her burger on a pretzel bun. Really surprised and satisfied.

The food is overpriced and not very appetizing- I had the Mediterranean Nosh and it was way too salty. It takes forever for your order to come out of the kitchen. The dining area is always a mess. For a world class art museum, the cafe should be a royal embarrassment.

  • Julie Sejournet

The waitress is very rude, she is unfriendly and she will serve you only when she wants. I was really angry at her and disappointed by the service. A very bad point for the café and the museum. Be aware of that before going there for a coffee or for lunch.

Late afternoon lunch. Most food was gone or long time waiting to cook. Staff seemed overwhelmed and stressed. Pizza abd nuggets tasty

The food was amazing, but costly. I paid a little over $25 for the meal pictured, including both drinks. Not bad if I'm alone, but pretty costly for a family.

  • Angelica Wilson

The prices are hilarious. $8 for a peanut butter and jelly in a box. Unfortunately the IMA Cafe is not a place we will be dining on our trips to the IMA

  • D Porter

Very good food. A little pricey but well made. The staff is friendly and the cafe is a beautiful place to relax for a bit while touring the museum.

  • Patrick Wright

Each on the dishes had the most delightful sweet undertone that really put the food over the threshold of good to Great!

  • Patrick Flanagan

A great pick-me-up spot to hit while at the museum. Food and drinks are solid and a very nice atmosphere.

  • Key Drake

When I say I had the worst experience ever lots of racism going on in the building

  • Heather Goad

Great place to chill after seeing all of the beauty this museum has to offer.

  • Oliver Durchholz

The soda I got was better than the sandwich and was half the price.

  • Dave Thomas

Great little cafe for the museum. Hope it continues to do well.

  • Terence Marshall

Strongly suggest the avocado, turkey and tomatoe jelly pennini!
