Always a cool environment for a relaxing read. First visit to the location was a little over two decades ago, while preparing for SSCE. My first encounter with a multi-series encyclopedia, covering several subject matter in the sciences was here. Got to know much about space, airplanes, rocket engines, in this library. We never had any access to the internet in those days; So that the Library was a go to spot for serious students. It's on my route back from high school.

This public library is situated inside the Old Secretariat in Ikeja (Lagos State), it is not a very large library nor is it equipped with very recent publications and infrastructure, but, it goes a long way, fulfiling the need for a public library accessible to residents, there is limited siting space and the electric power sockets are not enough, but it is a recommended facility

Recommended for reading and relaxing your brain, power supply almost steady, Air conditioner always on and quite comforting. Hope my hype is not too small but I never had a negative experience reading anytime I go there

Good enough for private study. The library, however, has limited sitting spaces and electric sockets. It's not adequately equipped with books and publications. It has a section for children.

It's a good place to read and work without distraction , power is available and AC is stand by..... Sockets are not enough..... Come with your extension

Fair. One could hear noise from around. The noise from One the fan is very distracting. It's very glaring that there's poor maintenance culture.

The Lagos State High Court Library is around this area. The Lagos State High Court Library Ikeja is not open to members of the public.

The library is considerably accommodating but would have been better with more sockets and an extended Saturday closing hour.

The place was locked at 12; 00pm ,looking deserted so either it is no longer functioning or it has been neglected
