Does not adhere to Covid protocols. I went in today to get a large charcoal drawing framed and there was a couple in the shop choosing frames for some pictures. I browsed around while waiting and was startled to overhear the male customer ask if he could take his mask off and the owner tell him "yes of course!" The man then stood around with no mask on, debating frames with his wife and the owner. I left with my picture. As I was leaving the owner said "I'll just be ten minutes" and I said "I'm not comfortable being in here with him with his mask off." And the owner said "Oh. Well.... Off you go then." The shop is small and unventilated (doubtless because of the art works inside.) To allow customers to take their masks off while other customers are inside at the same time is not acceptable, especially if you don't even ask the other customers if they are ok with it. When you go to their website, the following information pops up: "Everyone on the premises is required to wear a mask, make use of the hand sanitiser provided and maintain the 1.5m social distancing measure." I'm very disappointed by my experience today. I have had 4 paintings framed there before. This was going to be the fifth one but I am going to have to find someone else to do it.
