Very expensive. Though the shop management has been putting the blame on COVID, that still can't explain why they are way more expensive than other Indian grocery stores in Calgary. I understand every Indian grocery store in Calgary has increased the prices after COVID, but not to this extent for sure. I went there last week and for a few items (literally few items) I paid 70 bucks, that's after discarding almost 80% of the items that I originally picked. The problem is, we only get to know the prices at the time of billing because they don't display the prices for many of the items. In some cases, those prices in the display are not relevant anymore. the only positive thing to say about this shop is, they have a good selection of south Indian grocery. So I will go to this store, only if I need a specific item which I cannot find anywhere else in Calgary.

One of the most over rated Indian grocery store in Calgary. It’s probably our mistake that we didn’t check the expiry date, but inexcusable and criminal to carry food items that are past expiry by almost 6 months. The vegetables and fruits are over priced, but that’s ok as long as they are in good condition. But keeping expired food items is the minimum they could avoid. I’m never going to visit such store again. And to think that we went 20kms to check out this overpriced piece of junk, it’s heartburn. Attaching the proof as well, just so that others don’t get misled. Luckily the biscuits had such a bad odour that we realised they are expired right away. And on top of that $6 for a small piece of jackfruit, probably the worst experience we had since coming to Calgary.

I just called now to get the price for Tortilla press and as per the guy over phone , he cannot disclose the price over phone. I have to personally visit the store in this weather to just find out the price. Few months ago when I called this store for checking the price for another I got the same reply from the lady who is working there. So I went and checked and realized the products were over priced there. If you are aware that your products are overpriced , I guess it is better to set fair price instead of providing bad customer experience . Also I felt like you don't mind loosing customer so Good luck.

We went to this store couple of weeks ago. We were happy to finally see an Indian grocery store in South of Calgary. From the get go owners were really welcoming and willing to help you. They have every item that we could think of and helped us locate items we couldn't find right away. They carry large variety of fresh vegetables, frozen food items, species, snacks, lentils and much more. Their prices are more than reasonable for such a good quality of products. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. This will be our go to place from now on.

It feels great to have Indian grocery shop around you, they got all Indian products in a very reasonable rates. The vegetables and fruits are so fresh Spices and masalas are all available here. Lots of varieties. staffs are super friendly and even they told me recipes totally loved it. It feels like home. The best part is the mangos from india, oh man i use to miss them, thanks and kudos to them.

This was my second visit. The prices are comparatively higher, and they don’t put price labels for all vegetables, only some have prices labeled so one has to go to billing counter. Walmart has better deals if you could find them available there, like Rusk, snacks, masalas, tomatoes etc. Unless pricing is improved and prices are clearly labeled in the vegetables section, I wouldn’t go back.

They have lots of varieties of items fit to the culinary requirement of Indian community. But notice that the prices are comparatively high and inconsistent . Additionally the behavior of the counter staff is not customer friendly and unnecessary rude and impolite . My request to the owner to take care of these if they want to attract more customers and desire to have any positive feedback.

Best store for all Indian Spices and fresh vegetables. They handling it pretty well with this rice issue which is going on. So far been to lots of grocery store but they are the one who charging it reasonable for the rice bags. Apart from this they have every possible indian brand spices and special items. The managers are very friendly and always gives the best deals.

Great place to get East Indian spices, ingredients and products. If you haven't tried the seasonal mangoes from India, you just have to! The sweetest and most delicious mangoes I have had. I found some of the most Indian stuff I have been looking for quiet some time. It's also located right next to a great Indian restaurant, so this a great shopping complex altogether.

Reasonable prices for very fresh and good Vegetables. Great customer service. Good selection on other products offered here. Updated review 26 Dec 2021: Not all items have price listed on it, and the prices for produce don’t match the price on the receipt. The receipt prices are higher than advertised price. Changed from 5 star to 4 star until I see any improvement.

This place has been hit and miss for me. Sometimes I can find most of the things I am looking for and other times I cannot. Sometimes quality of food, such as goat meat is good and other times, quite terrible. Same thing with vegetables. But its still nice to have indian store in South side since there are only handful.

One of the finest Indian grocery stores in SE with friendly owners and staff. You ask for any grocery item and they will try their best to serve you with that and 99.9% of time you will get what you need. I get the exotic fresh vegetables and fruits from here along with few unique Indian stuff.

Nice place, Kedhu was so friendly and helped us in finding goods all around, products are of good quality and the prices here are competitive too. For our first visit they gave 10% offer on the total value. Overall nice experience.

  • Kartik Bhardwaj

Items are readily available. All the spices are fresh. Fruits and vegetables are so fresh. All the indian items are available here. Glad they have everything what so ever needed. Staff is great and friendly Ambience is good.

  • Jay Reddy

I guess, lack of competition in SE Calgary makes them overprice all Indian groceries here. I would go there only for specific Indian veggies, the rest can be found at cheaper prices on Real Canadian Superstore or Walmart.

  • Saleem Rizvi

Decent choice of Indian sub continent uncooked food and spices. The owners are courteous and helpful. Reasonable prices. Check this place out if you are in SW Calgary instead of driving all the way to NE
