I'm writing this review before I have completed all my treatments because already I have surpassed what I was capable of doing before my injury and I really want to thank Basit for his insight, knowledge and professionalism. I primarily do yoga, calisthenics and some weights at the gym. From time to time I get some injuries, and about a year ago I injured my right shoulder really bad. For about a month I wasn't able to lift my arm but slowly things got better but not to prior injury times. I kept stretching and staying away from some of the harder calisthenic exercises hoping that eventually my shoulder would do a full recovery. A year went by and since things didn't get back to 100% I decided to see a specialist. Integral Physiotherapy stood out with all their high reviews, so I went to give them a try. My first appointment was with Basit for April 17 2023 and I just finished my 6th appointment with him. I can't believe the improvements that has come along with the exercises that Basit has given me to do to strengthen and open my shoulders. His knowledge and ability to explain how muscles work and what needs to be done to repair injuries has exceeded my expectations. Disclaimer : You need to do the exercises in order to get better. If you want to go in for your appointment and have it to be a magic cure without putting in work yourself, this is probably not for you. However, if you are willing to put in the time after your appointment, from my experience, you will get better. My handstands are stronger because my shoulders are more open. I can grasp my hands behind my back like in the photo, something I had never been able to do before. It wasn't until after the third visit that I really started putting in a full effort after the clinic visits and doing all the workouts that were planned out. Once I fully bought in, the results showed. If you have an injury book your appointment. Go see them now! I have experienced joint pain for the last 5 or so years in my wrists, hips, knees and ankles, depending on the day. It got so bad at one point that I had to quit squatting, and ultimately stopped working out because of my hip pain. My chiropractor identified hyper mobility in my joints and suggested exercising to strengthen the muscles around the joints. I finally started doing that, but with working out again came the pain. That is when I went to see Kate at integral. She worked through my hip pain with me, explained what was going on in the chain, and gave me some very simple but very hard exercises to do that are working on the small/underused muscles that support my hip joint. Since doing them regularly I, and my trainer, have noticed my performance in the gym improve and my pain has diminished greatly. I had been to Integral earlier this year and saw a different physio (he was also great, but moved out of town) Kate is an awesome replacement and I will continue to see her. I went on a Saturday morning, and while parking was oddly challenging to find (there is ample parking it was just weirdly busy), The clinic was quiet, inviting and welcoming. The appointment was easy going, very informative and really empowering to know I can make changes to improve how I feel. Kate even did some dry needling to help release the muscle, showed me the exercises and then also sent me a video of them through the app in case I forgot them. Now that my hips are getting sorted out, I will be back for my wrists and ankles and I suggest that if you have ever had some stubborn pain, find that being active can cause some odd pain or just in general want to recover or prevent an injury to go see Kate at Integral.

I experienced significant improvement in my condition as a direct result of the personalized treatment plan and guidance from Kaitlyn Sosnowski and the kinesiologist. They provided me with effective exercises and monitored my progress closely.This tailored approach genuinely made a difference in my recovery journey. My first appointment was booked with Joseph. First off, the booking process was easy and the admin staff were extremely helpful. Many of the forms could be completed online which was very convenient. The physical space where integral is located is very inviting! Joseph completed the most thorough and comprehensive physical exam I have ever been subject to by any physiotherapist and/or health care professional. He listened to my concerns and addressed every issue that I told him about. He has a positive, encouraging, and optimistic demeanour that feeds into his excellent bedside manner. He is extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated his fresh perspective on my leg issues. I have been trying to figure out my leg issues for three years, with several different physiotherapists and doctors involved. Joseph is the only one who has really listened to my concerns and given me a different perspective on why I am in pain. This clinic uses an app to communicate the stretches and exercises which includes tutorial videos and reminders to complete your exercises. I absolutely love this feature! I am very hopeful for the future. I highly recommend this physiotherapy clinic and Joseph in particular. Thank you so much!

I was recommended to Integral by a friend who spoke highly of Adam and Jade. I saw Joseph though instead, as I was eager to get in ASAP. I called and they were able to book me the same day, which I was extremely happy about as I had to leave town for work. I was very impressed by Joseph, his demeanour and his ability to make me feel assured that I would heal in time. He listened to all of the the information leading up to the injury for two years and explained exactly what was wrong as I did think it was a torn meniscus, but it was actually my MCL I had torn this time. His thorough examination and plan for me made me happy and hopeful for my leg to heal properly and be good as new. Very grateful for the care here. I look forward to working with him for the next few months. He was very soft spoken and charismatic, as all the staff seem to be here. Thanks for making a tough couple days better.

This place deserves 10 stars! I’ve tried multiple places for my TMJ, massages, and my back issues. Integral Physio is hands down the best place I’ve been. Jade is THE BEST and I will continue to refer everyone to her. She always makes sure I’m comfortable with any treatment she’s going to do on me and is super helpful with showing me my stretches to do at home. Jeremy is very communicative while massaging and is always checking in to make sure I’m okay and the pressure is good. I feel relief every time I leave and this is the only place I’ve been to where I feel like it makes a positive difference in how I feel. Everyone at this office is insanely friendly and I feel super comfortable with all of them. They really make you feel like family and make coming for physio fun. I will never stop coming here. Highly recommend this place. :)

I have attended Integral Physio for a variety of concerns and have found that the care provided here goes above and beyond. From the moment you walk in the door to when you leave, you feel welcomed. Not only is the environment vibrant and lively, the entirety of the staff is knowledgeable and willing to listen to your concerns and assist in any way they can. This type of atmosphere is unmatched! After a recent visit to my dentist who recommended that I try IMS for my TMJ pain, I booked an appointment with Jade. I was hesitant at first, but her calm and reassuring presence made me feel comfortable and at ease. Her treatment provided me with instantaneous relief! I have also seen the other physios, Adam and Vince, and I highly recommend all 3 of them to all of my friends and family in the Edmonton area.

I had been having persistent mid back and shoulder issues that were slowly getting more painful. I called Integral and within a few minutes, I was already booked for a session with Kate. Over the next hour, I could tell that Kate is truly passionate about helping people heal, extremely knowledgeable, and great to work with. She helped me get some immediate pain relief and also put together a program of stretches and exercises that have helped me get back to 100% within a few weeks. After I left, the whole stretching program was sent to me via email with video examples so I wouldn’t forget! The clinic was clean, tidy, and had a great vibe amongst the other practitioners. If only I could give 10 stars! I had been going to Integral for almost 2 years for MVA treatment, and let me tell you, Adam and his team are beyond wonderful. From back pain to weak wrists, headaches, and more, Adam helped me manage and relieve my symptoms. I felt heard every time. The quality and personalization of treatment really helped me in my progress of doing activities that I could before my accident. There is never a dull moment, always laughter and smiles. Integral has really become a home away from home, and now I've moved to Calgary I'll really miss everyone, but I'll always come back because you guys are the best! You also can't miss out on Adam's great dad jokes.

My family have been seeing Adam for a number of years whenever the need has arisen. I had reason to see Adam today after being in severe pain for 2 weeks and nothing else was working, not even the strong pain meds my GP had me on. One visit with Adam, and I am pain free for the first time in 2 weeks. Adam is not only excellent at what he does, he also genuinely cares about his patients.My children also see Adam when it is needed, and he is awesome with them. He never pushes them beyond what they are able to handle and treats them with complete respect. I highly recommend Adam to everyone - adult or child! I saw Mr. Joseph El Hamchaoui for electroshock therapy of my hand tendinitis and the experience was great! Joseph is really a fantastic, and knowledgeable physiotherapist. He was the one who recommended electroshock therapy for me and I am forever thankful of him because after only 3 sessions, my tendinitis pain was over. I had seen several other physiotherapist both in Toronto and Edmonton, but none of them had recommended electroshock therapy but Joseph was the one who recommended the right therapy for my hand. Above of all these, Joseph has a great personality and I was feeling very comfortable during my sessions. I really appreciate whatever Joseph has done for me.

I have been getting massage therapy by Hank for the last 3 months. I had a sore sciatic so I asked him to work on it. After the massage the soreness and pain disappeared. Subsequent to a repeat treatment in two weeks and I feel completely healed. Hank is not only an excellent massage therapist, he is also a very friendly and pleasant person. Integral is the only place I go for massage therapy and Physiotherapy when needed. Before Hank I used to get massage therapy from Matthew for about a year. I found him to be very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I had tried other massage therapists before but Matthew was excellent at his profession.

Integral is the best physio clinic I've been to. I've been seeing Adam there for physio for a number of years now. I am a very active person and Adam has helped me rehab a number of injuries safely and successfully over the years so that I can get back to sports/activities I enjoy. I am always confident when I go in to see him with an injury/issues to be assessed and treated that I am well on my way to rehabbing it safely and getting back to my active life. The clinic's atmosphere is friendly, personable, and welcoming. The staff are knowledgeable and encouraging. I 100% recommend anyone looking for physio to check out Integral.

One of the best physio clinic I have been to. My therapist Kate was great and really seem to care about your well being. You don’t feel rushed and she does not leave you in the middle of your appointment on a machine for long like some other places. She is very professional and knows her stuff. The staff in the front were also professional and friendly. All the necessary mandates for Covid seems to have been met - masks, sanitizer, disinfectant. Good distancing can be maintained between clients - they seem to have spaces things out adequately. Looking forward to building a better relationship with my sore hips with Kate

Confiding in your physiotherapist is an important aspect of your recovery journey and my time and experience with Basit has never fallen short of excellence. I’m grateful that he’s introduced me to the staff at Integral Physiotherapist, they’ve all played a pivotal role in helping me get back to normal. Basit, Kasey, and the rest of the staff all deal with their clients in a professional and organized manner and deserve utmost appreciation for their efforts. It was mentioned that Kasey was newer but it’s not easy to tell, he’s very well grounded, pays attention to detail, and makes the experience tailor made to your needs.

I had an assessment appointment with Adam Giesbrecht at Integral Physiotherapy and was very impressed. Adam looks at each issue in a wholistic way. Not only did he make an assessment on this first appointment, he did some treatment and then had one of the kinesthesiologists in the clinic go over a set of home exercises tailored to address my issue. Those exercises were then sent to me via email and a link to an app where I can watch a video to ensure I am doing the exercises correctly. I am confident that my knee issue will be resolved with Adam's help. If you are looking for good value for your money, check out Integral.

I have been seeing Jade for the last year, after a Motor Vehicle Accident. SHE IS AMAZING! I always leave feeling so much better, she is very good at keeping you updated on your treatments, why she is having you do a certain exercise, and is the NEEDLE QUEEN! I have also see Vincent for treatment and he is just as good!! Very knowledgeable, detail oriented and funny! The whole team is great though! They are always on time and on op of their scheduling, the office is clean and well maintained, everyone is always cheerful and chatty- They make it feel so warm and comforting! I would recommend everyone going in for a visit!

I have been so impressed with Integral. I have seen Kaitlyn quite a few times now to sort out some hip and back issues that are impacting my running. She is incredibly knowledgable. She really listens, adapts the plan accordingly, and always explains what she is doing and why. I have learned so much from her! I also like that she provides a manageable amount of things to do at home so you feel empowered and see progress but are not overwhelmed. I'm a huge fan and I will continue to go back to her whenever I need help. The clinic is nice too- chill and friendly. Thanks Kaitlyn for taking such good care of me :)

The entire clinic is very nice, the people are super friendly, and the physiotherapy (including the needling) is excellent! I would rate 10 stars out of 5 if Google would let me. They are above top notch with expertise, service, and knowledge. I can't say enough positive things about them. I would say Jade & Adam are incredible...because they are...but that would be unfair because they all seem to be the exact same way. If you've ever had a negative physiotherapy experience, a mediocre one, or even a pretty good one, come try this clinic to experience what physiotherapy should be. Your body will thank you!

These people are real professionals who understand and exercise personal care and high end service from check in to check out. I go to Adam for my physiotherapy and to Mathew for massaging. Both of them taking very good care of me to help me to recover a disc injury that caused by a vehicle accident. They really know what they’re doing; they listen to you and are very compassionate. Jade and Vince have been my physiotherapists at Integral for the past 2 years and both of them are amazing! Jade is so good at what she does, very strong and efficient, and has gotten me pain-free. I only go in for maintenance sessions now and always find those sessions effective and therapeutic. Vince is also really great- I appreciate how he takes the time to listen to/ assess my issues and work through them with me and how passionate he is about what he does. Recently I started seeing Jeremy as well for massage therapy and haven't looked back. I would recommend any of them in a heartbeat!

Integral is an excellent facility for seeking treatment and regular fitness maintenance. They do an excellent job of tailoring your treatment based on your specific needs and goals. Not only do they provide hands-on treatment but also have an in-house gym where you can learn and practice exercises that will assist you. So far I've only had one session with Adam for my plantar fasciitis, but already I feel so much better. He explained everything that he was doing, and why he was doing it. Everyone I encountered who works there was really friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I have anxiety when going to new places, and I felt very welcome. Booking online was super easy, plus they use the physiApp which came with how to videos for the stretches I'm supposed to be doing , which was great because sometimes remembering them all can be overwhelming. I highly recommend.

I wish I could give Integral a million stars! Adam is absolutely amazing and is a master at helping multiple people at once and still keeping full focus on each individual. Aside from the amazing staff, the services are fantastic. I have been turned away from physiotherapists in the past stumped on a knee injury I’ve been dealing with for years. Adam treated my injury and gave me long term solutions to strengthen the weak muscles causing the injury. You’ll feel the difference after only 1 visit. I am able to function properly and have a high quality life thanks to Adam and Integral Physiotherapy. After getting a concussion and the doctor giving you a treatment of - "go home and rest" - I felt the most confused and weak I've ever been. Adam was able to work with me, develop a personalized post-concussion plan, track my progress and be so supportive and encouraging during those scary times. I managed to finish the MBA program even though I was struggling with the post-concussion syndrome. I will always be grateful to him and his team!

The entire team at Integral were great. I went for my first ever physio appointment after Jade was able to fit me in last minute, which was greatly appreciated! The check-in process was very easy and the team was very professional. Once in, Jade took the time to ask me a variety of questions to help assess my situation. She explained everything that she was doing and I felt very comfortable for my first ever appointment. The environment was very relaxed and all the staff were friendly. I called looking for a same-day appointment after a muscle strain left me without the ability to move my head for days. Thankfully, I was able to see Kaitlyn that afternoon! She identified the problem right away and was very thorough in explaining each step of the treatments she provided. A kinesiologist helped me try out the exercises she recommended and he was great too. I am very grateful to Integral for both their excellent customer service and for alleviating some of my pain! Integral Physio is an excellent place to get checked out at. I tore my Achilles and am currently rehabbing it and worked with Basit, one of the new physios there. Practically no wait time, quick and easy steps for rehabbing my injury and extremely well informed to guide me on what to do and not to do regarding my workouts so as not to aggravate my injury. There’s also an online form they send to you to make it easier to keep track of the rehab program you agreed upon. Definitely a fun environment, friendly staff, and a homie experience.

If you want to heal your body, go to Integral. Jade will do just that. You will love/hate/love it. Nothing fun about the process of healing, until you experience the pain free life later. Adam and his team have been amazing to deal with. Adam listened to me describe the chronic shoulder pain that I was feeling. After a series of tests he was able to explain what was going on with my shoulder in a way that I could understand and went right to work on helping me recover. I walked out the door of my first session with an exercise program to help with my recovery. I will definitely continue to treat my shoulder at Integral Physio and look forward to increased shoulder mobility and no more pain!

I had an amazing massage today here with Carry. I have had many massages and I can easily say she is the best I have ever have. She has a different style than anyone I have ever had, she moves quicker with amazing pressure. Imagine an abstract painter passionately whipping the brush at the canvas, that is the best analogy I can come up with. She is an artist, I honestly don’t know where she gets that level of energy. She makes it her mission to find knots and alleviate them. You will not be disappointed!

Just giving a solid shout out for Adam. My wife had great success from his treatment of her ankle and back injuries so it was an automatic recommendation when I encountered a couple of injuries from Jiujitsu. Amazing personality, listens to how I describe my problem and then understands it and can explain it back so you have a "Ya that's it !! " moment. Then he proceeds to make it better, and you leave feeling confident you are on the right track. Highly recommend Adam and this Clinic. You won't forget .

Been do a different physio office in the past and it was pretty meh and felt kind of better, but they didnt address the root problems. I started seeing Adam about a month ago and even after my first assessment + treatment I felt a world of difference. 1 month later, I haven't felt this good in a very long time. Adam and the staff here really will take the time to fix your root issues and help you move properly again. Also Benny's greetings every time I enter make my day. 10/10 go to this clinic.

Such good service. I’ve been seeing Kate here and there for strains/muscle tension from weight training. I don’t have to see her often because she relieves my pain and symptoms in 1 session, and knows exactly where my pain is, even when it is difficult to pinpoint. She provided me with great exercises that also make me visit less because I can deal with it when it comes back on my own. She is so knowledgeable and kind. Friendly, clean, organized and so helpful. Will continue to visit :)

I had pain in the shin splints area for a few years during and after running. I went to a couple of places to solve it but nothing helped. Massage + heating pads always . I came to this clinic and I met Basit. He is a CRACK physio! He found the issue in the first session. He gave me exercises to do and the pain disappeared after 3 years of suffering. Thanks for your help! btw, the clinic is quiet and nice, and the staff are very welcoming and always have face.

After almost six months of chronic migraines and neck pain with little to no relief despite visiting many health professionals, I am SO happy I found Jade at Integral. After one visit, I have mobility back in my neck and my first day with zero migraine pain. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the clinic, and everyone I worked with was kind, empathetic, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. I sincerely can't wait to go back for another treatment.

Was recommended to Adam by a friend, and went in for a little tuneup and to fix some chronic sore/tight spots. Adam was extremely personable, funny, and informative. The needling session was quite relaxing and very effective in releasing tense spots I've been trying to work out myself with no success. I would recommend Integral to anyone, and will be returning on a regular basis to tuneup and check in with Adam for more education and release. Thanks!

I've been seeing Vince at Integral for almost four months and it has been an awesome experience. He is very dialed in to my progression and understands when we can be a bit more aggressive in his treatment and when we need to back off. His entire office staff are very friendly and know all of the patients by name when they come in. I would highly recommend this physiotherapist office and should I ever need one again, I will be going back to Integral.

Adam has been extremely effective at helping to resolve my pain issue. It's still not entirely better but by using acupuncture, active release, and shockwave therapy Adam has decreased the pain by about 80%. He is very personable and approachable, performed a thorough assessment, and answered all my questions before beginning a very effective treatment. The clinic staff are friendly and very accommodating. I'm thankful to have found this place!

I worked with Adam today for my first session and I’m already feeling better and more focused on improving my foot issues. He did a great assessment, provided me shock therapy, and went above and beyond to take care of my ailments. He also provided me exercise homework to do on my own. What a fantastic team over at Integral. Got in on a short notice for post knee surgery recovery and was booked with Basit and his team. They took the time to explain everything to me, what recovery process was gonna look like, and listened to what my end goals are with my new knee and getting back into sports. I have been coming to Integral to see Adam for about 2 years for different injuries. Adam is very knowledgeable about the sports injuries I have had. He uses many different treatment modalities and strives to get the right thing to fix your issue. I am now seeing him post surgery for a broken ankle and he once again has a plan to get me back to baseline. The clinic is relaxed and the staff always seem to be enjoying working there.

Adam is my physiotherapist. He always takes the time to see how I am doing, what is causing me issues and tailors that session's treatment to what is causing me issues. I can't say enough about the care and attention he takes with his patients. We always talk about what I can do outside my sessions to improve my mobility. The entire staff at the clinic are friendly and very welcoming! I highly recommend this clinic!

I have been seeing Vincent for the last couple months and he is wonderful. I injured my shoulder during one of my work out sessions. He's very kind, patient, knowledgeable, gentle, and caring. Every time I'm there, it's a great customer experience from Vincent and the rest of the staff at Integral. Excellent care. Adam is so knowledgeable and always gets me back to moving quickly. He takes the time to learn about your issues and finds a path to recovery. The clinic staff is always very upbeat and seem to love where they work and what they do. That positive energy I believe is a INTEGRAL part of the healing process. I was referred here, specifically to Jade and yesterday was my first visit. I was really impressed! I've been to several places for Physio over the years and this experience was much better than most. Integral Physiotherapy is well set up, clean and friendly. I had to bring my 5-month old with me to the appointment and the staff played with her, held her and even helped give her a bottle! Adam is exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough and helpful. Integral gave me my exercises, sent me an email and provide an app to follow as well. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

The team at integral Physiotherapy Sports Clinic is welcoming and experienced. I have been seeing Adam the owner for 4+ years now and he is professional and outgoing. I typically get my neck/upper back treated using ims techniques. I have also seen him for a knee injury and I always leave feeling fixed. Also love the heating pack at the end, cue nap time. Facility is also 5/5 clean!

Life changer! The pain in my knees got to the point where I decided to seek help. I googled sports therapy and this place had amazing reviews. I'm pleased to say that they live up to their great ratings! I felt very comfortable and Adam is very knowledgeable. It's definitely a process to healing, but it is worth it. Adam was very informative and pleasing to deal with. In just my first ever session of physio, I was walked through what's causing my issue then given shockwave and stimulation therapy. Then I was walked through a quick exercise program to do until my next appointment. This was wayyy more than I expected from my first appointment. Just wow.

Love the passion all the therapists have for their work here. They really do an excellent job in assessment and getting you on your way towards wellness. I enjoy their focus on getting well and maintaining your wellness. They don't drag out treatment just to keep you coming back. Also everyone is so friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Very friendly people. Vincent was very polite and seems like he does know about his job very well. It was my first visit so I got sent home with a few exercises with I found it pretty cool that all those exercises they are on the app I got from them. I felt well treated so I will keep going and I will post my progress if any for sure.

All of the staff here are helpful and great from the admins and assistants to all three physios Basit has been helping me recover from a MVA involving a concussion and whiplash since August 2022 and Ive been getting better with the help of him and all of the other hard workers here. i have always been uncomfortable going to clinics and crowded places and it got worse since my accident. but integral has such a welcoming environment and supportive staff that it made my visits a lot easier. i wish this place a long and prosperous years to come. so that they can continue to help and relieve suffering people like me.

The knowledge that Adam has is incredible. He was able to explain to me why I had pain in my hips and my calf muscles within seconds of my visit, and proceeded to fix the problem with just a few visits. I am able to run pain-free again. The vibes are great at this place :) I bring residents here from my work, and they never have complains. Things run a bit odd at my work and due to our processing I am usually 2-5 mins late per appointment. They’re always so understanding. The music in here is great, and the front staff go above and beyond !

I had a really good experience at this place. Basit did a great job with the assessment and targeting the areas that I had pain in. I had IMS done and it really helped with the muscle tension. Basic was very knowledgeable in the treatment and made sure to address all my questions and concerns!
