Ever since Greyhound, intercape, City to City and other lines terminated their services from Johannesburg to south Coast Intercity has grown such an enormous grade of pride that it has no respect for their passengers. There is not a single trip that has departed from JOhannesburg on time. Coordinators at the station are nothing short of disrespect and utter attitude. When you ask why there is a delay you are told to send an email and stop bothering then as they are not the bosses. Surely they know that sending an email means nothing as no one will attend to you. there is now no difference between 9 and 10pm as busses leave well after these times if not simultaneously. If they bus doesnt break down another below standard bus does the trips. The busses are eaither very cold or overheating. The drivers are then under pressure to arrive on time at South Coast regardless of departing late meaning speeding and reckless driving. I curse the day South Coast was given this bus line. We have lost all respect and dignity from the line. The dispicable prices are worse even, when they were many other lines on this route prices were fair. We are not treated as valuable customers but just number. Last night yet another delay and the bus overheated and was almost in flames but that will not change anything. The alterior motive of this line is killing more people than the Roadlink line previously. There has been numerous attempts to kill passengers through overheating busses and soon the attempts will be successful. Perhaps other lines should get back to the route so that we the people of south coast can be respected and valued. I ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY THE SERVICE OF THIS LINE. IM ON IT THROUGH DESPERATION AND I AM ALSO EXPLORING GOING TO DURBAN AND CONNECTING VIA TAXI TO SOUTH COAST BECAUSE THIS BUS IS OUT FOR OUR BLOOD LITERALLY. DONT CORRECT YOUR WAYS AS YOU DONT CARE ANY WAY.
8 October 2023 around 04:00 my friend and her 3 kids were on their way to Benoni from Margate. On route they suspected the driver was not well or tired as the bus was swerving while driving, at the bus stop (Harrismith - under correction) they talked to driver and he confirmed he was fine it was the bus having different size wheels that caused them to feel as if it was swerving. Luckily for them there was passengers on the bus that saw the bus was going to hit a truck (motor vehicle transport truck) and rushed to the front to assist and pull the hand brake as the driver had no reaction preventing the accident from being more severe or fatal. there has been no compensation to the passengers and feedback on the accident or any information regarding the driver and consequences of the accident. There is also no information on the accident anywhere.

Absolutely pathetic! Time management is non - existent after several claims of “fastest trip”. How does a bus departure claim to be starting at 6h45 but it only leaves at 8h30pm. Had to swap buses - poorly planned. Worst bus company I’ve ever had to sit through. You guys don’t respect peoples money and time honestly. Highly unprofessional would NEVER recommend. Your other reviews are evident that you guys are bad. Please guys, rather book with their rivals. Honestly so disappointed and dissatisfied. I don’t even want to give you the 1 star but I have to.
If there was a zero, I would give them zero stars. The bus was an hour late. The drivers are rude, selfish and really don't care about people. The driving was unresponsibile!! The one driver was sleeping on 4 seats, while I had to try and get seats together to sit with my 2 daughters. He said that it's HIS AirBnB!! No labels for luggage , no safety or control over the passanger's belongings. The bus was dirty and the seats broken. Will never book with Intercity ever again.
Service was absolutely great last year now so bad me and my family total of 5 people doing a weekend trip to Pretoria from Margate and the bus was so hot,i i ask the driver to but on the air-conditioning and he refused.....the worst is i still have to do the return trip. I'm deeply disappointed thinking of cancelling the return trip
Bus stucked 3 times, stucked for over 6 hours. We had no water and supplies. They packed us in a combi and didn't even apologize or at least compensate us for the time we were stucked. I'd never recommend this bus to even my worst enemy. By the way, I was traveling with my ailing mother and brother.

Very very poor transit time delayed with 1:30 late. Bus very dirty and very moist inside especially during covid its definitely not acceptable. No2 worse I had to run after the bus to N3 because it left me and other 2passanger at Mantrose

I am really disappointed traveld from durban to jhb.. booked the intercity bus they put us on another bus, bus was 1 hour late ND really uncomfortable only good thing was that the driver was very friendly ND helpful
It's just a depo for the Eagle Liner, Intercity and Stabus buses. My family and I don't live too far from it, so when we go for trips we board the buses there instead of travel all the way to Park Station in JHB.
We have been stuck in the middle of nowhere for 8 hours!!!!no communication nothing! The poor driver has been reporting since 11am!! We have kids who are hungry and people who are not feeling well!! 03 Nov 2023
I travel usually by bus it has a bad service I know I got used to it really to have a toilet stick for two straight hours and without passengers using it so painfully hurts I want a refund for the abuse
We got had the most humble driver and I personally don't like the bus travel, but the service from the team from bookings to driver was excellent ( to the finance department I'm waiting for my re fund)
Intercity Xpress is a good helpful company they have a very friendly callcentre in particulate Jabu Williams has the best manners ever and without him there the callcentre would die in a way
