I don’t normally respond to these review requests but I have to say, this was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist. I have the most ridiculously sensitive teeth. I cannot even tolerate a cleaning without numbing or sedation. I need ALOT of work done and I’ve been living with pain, cavities and teeth that are a mess for years partly because I knew starting the process to fix the damage an autoimmune disease did would mean severe pain. I also am HIGHLY tolerant to Novocain and numbing medicine. I metabolize it very fast. So I have never had a procedure where I was fully numb. I sat in the chair and was in tears by the time Dr. Sophie introduced herself. From sheer nerves. Typically a stress reaction for me is to start trembling like I’m shivering, it’s a response I can’t help and stems from years of the dental chair meaning major pain. She LISTENED to me and my past experiences. She asked questions and for examples. And she discussed every single step with me. She never once made a decision before talking to me about it and making sure I was on board. The result was this being the very first time I was completely calm before a procedure started. And I have an extraction without unbearable pain. She and the assistant paid attention to my every move and indication the numbing was wearing off and we’re on top of it BEFORE I was feeling pain. I have never once left a dentist procedure where I was still numb. Never. I did this time. And it was wonderful. I left the office feeling like I finally found a practice that cares more about the needs of the patients than the money they’ll make. My needs were met. My care was handled responsibly and professionally. My emotional and stress needs were addressed and handled. And I am actually looking forward to moving forward with care so I can get my teeth back to where they used to be before health issues caused damage. I was also very happy that the assistant thought enough about my experience to make sure to schedule my follow up with Dr. Sophie so I don’t have to go through the stress of explaining everything about my pain and sensitivity issues and being nervous all over again. I am more than happy with the care I received. I am actually looking forward to my dentist appointment next week. I would never have expected I would ever say that. Interfaith Dental went above and beyond for me.

My experiences at Interfaith have been very positive. The doctors and staff are incredibly people oriented and make me feel very comfortable when I have had questions or concerns. I was treated as well as in a private dental office, and never felt an imposition to anyone. For decades, and as a young mother, Dr. Thomas Underwood was our family dentist, and I know what a man of character and humanitarian he is. This organization is such a positive reflection of this top dentist in the area over the decades. I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to access this service during the period it was so needed. Thank you to all of you people who serve the community. Also, thank God for men with visions of making dental services available not only when he has served in third world countries, but in his own city.

My whole overall experience was amazing. From the interaction with the receptionist all the way to the medical staff was phenomenal!! I have very bad anxiety when it comes to dentists and they did EVERY THING TO EASE ALL MY FEARS.I was treated with compassion and great care from the time I got there for my appointment until I left. The front receptionists are awesome. The dentists are amazing, i would recommend anyone to have service or procedures done. They were ALL compassionate, and very patient. My comfort was the main concern and they put all my fears first and to ease. Thank you so much for a great experience !!!

I am so thankful to God for Interfaith Dental because I would have to go without dental care if it was not for this place. So many times when you go to, or speak to someone where you receive discounted or free services because of your low income, you’re made to feel bad about yourself as though being poor was somehow a “crime “. From the receptionist to the person who checks me out, I have received nothing except pleasant smiles and exceptional care. Once again, I say, “Thank you”, for the exceptional people who make this place work.

The Dentist and dental assistant were so knowledgeable and professional. The receptionist was awesome as well. They explained everything that was to be expected and were so caring. So grateful that this office exists in Nashville!! It has been a lifesaver financially, and the staff is wonderful. Had what I think was the easiest and gentlest cleaning done yesterday. She even took care to put a nice even film of the fluoride on my teeth at the end so my mouth wasn’t all goopy for hours. That has never happened before! Can’t say enough good things about this place and the care they offer.

Everyone was very kind and welcoming. My daughter loved her experience and left ready for her next visit. I was very worried that after her visit she would be scared of dentists and would never want to go back. So I am very impressed. Thank You all so much for making her visit as comfortable as it could be and being very gentle with her. We look forward to our next visit

The staff are perfessional and yet delightful at the same time. While all the time convincing you to do a better job at maintaining your teeth, and as to why all should do so. Been going here for four years now and every visit has been extremely exceptional the workers are exceptional and the dentist takes time with patients listens to your concerns and deals with whatever issue at hand I really love the services Interfaith renders would definitely recommend to anyone who needs great quality dental work and or service

I’ve had nothing but the best treatment from Interfaith Dental, I still have a lot to accomplish but I’m so grateful and Thankful for Dr.Sophie. She is making my smile beautiful again. If you are experiencing major work done on your teeth don't waist your money at the interfaith dental because of their unexpected dentists. My wife and I spend close to $20k for bridge and other services we end up loosing all bridges in less then 3cyears period due to poor service and dentists job
