Update: so against my better judgement I went back here. I just want to say go only for the entertainment, eat before you get there unless your gonna order hot wings and fries. DRINKS after 9pm are tasteless and too overpowering with alcohol. I do enjoy the entertaining tho. It’s a great vibe with the music and staff. They need a new cook I swear. Food is tasteless and dry. My cousin ordered the pork chops and OMG I’m glad o had took a picture it was way over cooked and super super dry. My friend ordered some grill chicken and that was not good at all. Super dry and lack flavor. The waitress was really nice and understanding and let my cousin select something else. She got the wings lol. Overall go after 9 in my opinion, AGAIN just order fries and chicken wings. I left 3 ⭐️ only for the entertainment. This place was good. The day we went had an event going on. To enter that night for the event was 20 dollars. The restaurant had karaoke night going on. The atmosphere of the people there was nice, age’s ranging from 30 and up. Food was ok not the greatest. I had the Empanadas one with chicken and one with beef and cheese. I didn’t like it at ALL it was Terrible Drinks were ok and I mean ok. Taste was good but watered down. Prices for the drinks started at about 15.00 dollars, a shot of Tequila was $14 dollars and let me tell you it was a small shot. Drink options were very small. We ordered a hookah and that’s was good. Price of the hookah was 45 that was a good price not many options on flavors. The event had a singer that was there and she is the only reason why I stayed. Her voice was amazing, she moved the crowd that was there. Our waiter was super nice, I wish I remembered his name. Overall nice spot clean and friendly staff. Would I go back ? Maybe, I’ll just go on the night that they have their events and eat before I get there and order a bottle. Big NO to their drinks.

My friend that lives on DI says we should go check out this place because the food is really good but unfortunately the service is terrible. She was absolutely correct, the food is really good! But unfortunately, as she said the service was absolutely terrible. Nothing came out together. We order two appetizers which came out at different times. She and I both ordered a sushi roll (2 actually) once again nothing came out together. My role came out first and then hers came out about 15 minutes later and was not even correct. Our server never came by to check on us so she actually had to get up and take it back to the kitchen to have it done correctly. To the owners and managers, please work on your service personnel, because the food is really good. If you read this review please give it a like.

Food and drinks are on point even on a Thursday. And wow good looking people I'm really surprised that there wasn't more single men around. They snooze and loose all the while I reaped in the rewards! Shhhh don't go telling everyone bout' this hidden gem on the island!!

My second time here. OUR FIRST TIME with a party of 5 was a blast on carribean night. Naomi our amazing server was on point 10/10. Coals for the guava hookah, food was amazing we did the empanadas again, ceviche. Do not recommend the dj that was there last night (we left early because the music was not enjoyable) not sure if he was having audio issues with the music cutting in and out and various volume changes within seconds. Also the sweet tea is a hard pass. For reference it tastes exactly like Ipecac Will def return for the food, hookah, just on a night with another event/DJ

My rating is based on the waitstaff at this location. Waitress basically forgot about us...we had to ask for our food and drink orders multiple times, as well as the bill which we waited 40 mins for only for my friend to be told that he would be alright when she refused to give him his exact change and walked off. Even though we spoke with the assistant manager I don't believe our concerns were taken seriously. I totally understand that people get busy but don't withhold someone's money because you feel you are deserving of it when you are not....On the plus side the live band was awesome for Flawless Friday which is why I didn't give 0 stars.

We attended this restaurant during Pride for an event and I was very impressed with the food and service. So impressed we decided to stay longer and enjoy the vibes well after the Sunday brunch ended. The unlimited mimosas was everything and the bartender Jancy was on fire cause it was his birthday (Virgo season) so the drinks had to be good and made to perfection. The lemon pepper wings was delicious. I love the outside patio. I will be back soon and this spot will be my new favorite place when I visit Tampa. They had some good hookah flavors. I was told Friday and Saturday nights has an amazing Vibe. I can’t wait to come back!

I heard it was a new brunch location so me and my friends wanted to test it out. The service was not good. It took 35 tp 40 min for our drinks and hookah. The food came out 35 min after ordering. The restaurant was not packed at all and we feel it should not have taken that long. I don't think I will return due to the service. I would like to add the DJ was playing old school RNB which were all sad or romantic songs....it threw off the brunch vibe. Better DJ is recommended.

Absolute Worst service I’ve ever had. I was charged FOUR times for an iced tea. Paid 15$ for iced tea. Waitress was sitting next to us at the bar eating chips. While we were still eating, she asked if we were finished yet? Then asked us if we want the bill, before we were even done eating. We were rushed out at 6pm, they didn’t close until 8pm. Clearly they don’t want any customers? We were upset and asked for the manager, who could not care less and didn’t offer any solution. How is this place still open??? DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

We went on a Friday night for the grown and sexy night. As soon as we arrived we hit the bar. The 2 girl behind the bar seemed new as they were slow and went in no order around the bar. Our server was bringing out food 2 plates at a time and the wings were ok. Nothing to write home about. One thing I can say is the music was great and the lady that was singing was outstanding.

Recently my husband and I were on vacation and visited Island Bistro. I'm very picky about my food as well as servers being attentive to our needs. I got the sample platter and let me just say, the sweet Thai Asian wings (or whatever it was called) was hands down the best wings I've ever had! Our server, Brittany, was very attentive, answered all our questions and made the best drinks!! When we come back on our next vacation we will definitely be back!! And please find a way to ship me some of those wings ☺️

Ever since this place opened, I have been a loyal customer. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and employees are wonderful! I had the chance to meet the owners and they are super down to earth and chatted me up while I was waiting for my best friend to join me. I always recommend this place to all of my out of town friends and family and it never disappoints. They have live music and karaoke on certain nights and its always a great time!

I came out for the first time for a girlfriends Birthday, the Flawless Friday had a live music and Dj's. The experience was not perfect but, the drinks and chicken wings were good. Ruben the manager needs to get accolades for making the experience better. I will come back and tell my colleagues of my experience! Thank you Ruben for making the experience a good one! Thank you Gabriel for taking us on a food journey. My friend and I visited here on a Monday and told him (1) thing we wanted and allowed him to surprise us with the rest. Each item was spectacular, ambiance was great and the restaurant is very spacious. Easy parking and plenty cute photo ops. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday - perfect place for a work outing or lunch meeting. I will say GET THE WINGS and Ceviche!

Visiting from out of town I came in with my cousins they suggested you guys had some good food and wow they weren’t wrong! I loved the sushi thanks to Crystal for the recommendation it was tasty . Definitely are a good too for great food , good music , & chill vibes. if you’re visiting FL stop by and check out Island Bistro & Bar!

Took a family trip out to the restaurant with family we had in town. We sat on the patio area which was nice. With the amount of people in our party we tried a variety of items from sushi to appetizers and sandwiches. All were good. The sweet Thai chili wings were very good. Brittany took good care of us. They had a DJ playing music and just good vibes all around. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Had a great time at Island Bistro! My fiends and I chose to give the Sunday brunch a try. We had a great time. The music was good and our waiter Johnny was great! He definitely enhanced our experience! My only suggestion would be for an actual brunch menu versus the same lunch/dinner menu.

Thank you so much Island Bistro & Bar! This amazing place allowed me to host my baby shower late February and it was beautiful. The food was amazing, the owners and the host was so easy to work with and super nice, and we all had a great time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant/venue and plan on using them in the future.

This place used to be a good time, but now they are charging a cover fee and the food went down hill. Don't bother with the sushi or steak...as a matter of fact just eat before you go. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the bartender is pretty nice. Other than that, they need to get it together !

Island Bistro is an absolute vibe! From the laid back atmosphere, to the yummy food/drinks service, friendly staff, great DJ/Live Band and down to earth owners, made my overall experience amazing. I will definitely be back soon to enjoy and support this wonderful establishment.

I recently visited this restaurant and I have to say, I was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the bartender Crystal was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
