Normally this place is very clean and the girls are very nice there. Today I was in this morning and the Asian man who works there or owns it was very rude and inconsiderate! I have a huge lint dust allergy. I need an inhaler if I'm in direct contact with a large amount. There were 6 of us customers in the laundry mat and so many dryers to empty. He came directly to mine. I had 6 mins left, I asked him to please wait. I told him of my allergy, he refused and was very rude when I asked him to please change all the others and come back after I pull my clothes out. He refused. He told me if I didn't like it, I don't have to come back. My family spends approximately 40$ per week there. This is how you are treated. There are well over 25 dryers there and he couldn't wait??? So terrible.

I’m leaving a 1 star review because the last few times that I’ve been here, I have encountered issues with the dryers where they will literally take 4-5 quarters which equals 20-25 mins but only dry for about 10. Sometimes the heat goes off and then the machine stops. Take out your items, put them into another dryer and it’s the same thing. 4-5 quarters are only about $1.00-$1.25 but when you need to keep changing dryers, it’s your time that is wasted. I’ve come in the morning, I’ve come at lunch and in the evening and afternoon. The last time I visited was yesterday on a Saturday evening which is usually busy and there was no attendant there to help. No way of contacting someone either. I would rather drive further to another coin laundry to get my items washed and dried.

If there was a possibility of giving negative 100 I would. I used bleach and lots of detergent to was my socks, towels and pillowcases. They came out as dirty as they were put in. The girl (Maria) working here refused to do anything even seeing how dirty my laundry is. She just pointed to a sign and said email the owner. Sign indicates one will be contacted the next day. Are you kidding me? City of Toronto licensing will be getting a call from me for sure including the BBB. Update: the employee rectified the situation by refunding one wash after I private messages the owner. I added a quarter to use a different washer as per another customer who indicated the 1.25 machines never wash properly. I appreciate the customer service.

Busy depending upon when you go, they are 24 hours which is great and they have good rates for their machines. They have TV's on the news so thay you can be occupied while you are waiting. They need to do better at washing out the inside of the rubber of the front of the washers and wash out the inside of detergent/softener tray as the last time I went I had to wipe out hair and rice that was left from someone who used the machine before. And pull out the detergent trays and clean the inside as there was buildup of old detergent. I don't know how often they clean but that's what they could improve on. For the most part this place is great to do laundry and the staff are nice and helpful when they are there.

After 3 + years of using their services which I liked & have sent them at least 5 new clients that I know of & have directed others there instead of telling me they dont wash a certain thing I brought to them that they have washed already 2 times before they have decided to flat out refuse my patronage & service me any more now if there was an issue from the first 2 times or change in policy why would a business be so rude & dismissive to a long standing customer instead of just informing them so as it does not happen again. I will be launching report with the BBB & Consumer & commercial relations for deformation of character on this instance as well as they would treat a loyal customer in this fashion

First time at this dry cleaner. It was absolutely disgusting. The floors were so dirty full of hair, dust, dirt and dryer sheets I felt like I needed to rewash anything that accidentally fell on the ground. I put stuff in the dryer at 8pm and I'm still her at 953pm. 2 hours and $10 later just in the dryers and my stuff is still not dry. The dryers constantly stopped, but kept running the time. What a scam to get people to pay more. If you come here watch your dryers carefully. Washing three loads of laundry cost me more that a Swiss Chalet dinner. I will never come back here again. Across the street where the Mr.Sub is, there is a new laundry mat. I'm trying that one next time.

They are bribing people for 5 star reviews... they're offering $5 in laundry for a fake review cause they can't get 5 stars on there own merit. Don't trust everything you read here!! Some people have no shame. Try running a decent laundry mat and the stars will follow, it's pretty simple!! I just watched some man ( I'm guessing an owner or he wouldn't have the authority) pointing out all the vehicles near Islington Coin Laundry & Dry Cleaners to a security guard that was taking photos of every plate. Pretty sure everyone is getting a ticket or towed even though the lot is empty!

I had to get a new laundry machine so had to drop off two weeks worth of laundry for 6 people! These two lovely ladies were able to wash, dry and fold all of my laundry after/ within 24 hours! I was so pleased and happy with their hard work there was not a single lint, dust or pill and it smelled so fresh and clean. and even the most difficult to fold clothes they do it for you! Thank you!!! I will be coming back again :) and next time I will post pictures too of their amazing service!

I have been going to Islington Coin Laundry for the past 4 years. There are days when the laundry is absolutely clean and tidy and there are days when the laundry is a mess. But what I like is the exceptional customer service. If you tell the representatives about any issue they proactively resolve the issue. Once the dryer was not functional and I went to the representative regarding the issue. The amount was refunded and I used another dryer to dry the clothes.

I’ve been going to this laundromat for years.Horrible service today. I was in there this morning and my towels did not fully spin so when the machine stopped they were soaking wet so the employee told me I would have to put 3 more dollars in the washing machine when I know she can reset the machine to spin again..So I didn’t have an extra 3 dollars and left them in the machine. Gonna wait for the owner to go in to see if this can be resolved.

I wash here every week. Nice and clean. Owner is real cool. It would be a real nice jester if us real customers that have been doing our laundry here for so many years get to use facilities such as the washroom. Instead of saying it’s broken when it’s not. Even in COVID-19 I still support, but I can’t get the support I need. I’ll just leave this man and his laundromat alone and find else where to wash.

This laundromat is the best!! The employees are extremely friendly, they always help me when I need thr are some of the hardest working individuals I’ve ever seen in a laundromat. The machines are new always in working order and they are huge with low rates. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and never had an issue. Those ppl giving the low ratings are clearly new to the outside world

I discovered this loundrymat about a year ago. I was looking for a 24/7 coin laundromat that has affordable prices. I was very please to see that they have different size machines at different prices, that wash my cloth the way I like it. It can get very busy until about 10pm, after hours is best if you don't like crowded places. I will highly recommend this place.

Been washing and drying at this laundromat for over 3 years and today will be my last. The ppl who work at this facility has no manners. Looks like the owner don't care about the business after reading the same bad comments over and over. I care about service, so I'll be going elsewhere and take and flock with me. I do not recommend this laundromat.

Very affordable several washers&dryers Been washing my stuff off site for several years using even 9 dollar machines to wash excepting the expense. This has shown me. The grass is greener. Not all places gouge. Not all places overcharge Could say more about my prior experiences but won't. Try this place and save

Clean, reasonably priced and great service. I washed some nice shirts with dirty socks and a blanket and everything came out smelling great. The guy who works the desk is very kind and attentive. Let me know I left a couple of socks in the washer so I was able to retrieve them. This was my second time here.

Most of the dryers are not working, be careful with all washing machine and dryers. They are damaged from inside, they can break your clothes, please inspect all the machines before you use them or do a favor to yourself, go find another laundry.... your are welcome!

Very well kept and pricing is about right though the dryer seems higher than most places. I don't live in the area (passing through and have laundry to do at night) but would recommend coming here for those who do live in the area.

The place is open all year round. Seven days a week twenty four hours a day. It is one of the best run laundry place in town. Clean, surveillance cameras in place. The machines are well maintained and are cheapest in town.

Clean place. There are several kind of sizes laundry machines, with prices from $1.50 to $4.75. The dryers are really good, my clothes are dried fast and are in good shape, no shrinking.

I have been using Islington Laundry now for the past three years. Their wash and fold service is top notch at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend their service.
