Do not hire this company for Drywall. 2” gaps around outlets, drywall screws not mudded, 5” gaps between the subfloor and sheetrock. We agreed that I would pay for insulation which I did. Then was told it would cost extra for the crew to place the insulation along the ceiling. First crew never returned, placed one coat of mud on corners and creases. Second crew eventually returned and worked on the room unfinished. Screen door destroyed when they put the debris on the porch. They left a huge pile of debris in the yard. I was told they have no place to take it. I threatened by going to the BBB and Attorney General. Now that it is cold the tape is peeling off all ceiling edges and wall corners as nothing was properly mudded. Do not even try to make excuses for poor quality work. I was more than nice during this 6 week process and truly taken advantage of.

Removed popcorn, applied texture, painted ceilings and bathroom and cleaned daily(YES DAILY). John & Jeraldtesha did a thorough job at our home. From our first meeting to the end of the job they were very proactive with their communication. There were no surprises and did I mention how well of a job they did cleaning up daily? They were very good at explaining what needed to be done and in terms we could understand. They were honest, trustworthy and cared about what we thought. We could tell it was their top priority to complete the project at a level we were both happy with. This is one of those times that I know already which company to partner with the next time I have a project. Thanks again for all your hard work and I am looking forward to having you back for that wallpaper project!

We contacted John to paint the concrete floor of our front porch and stain our back deck. Both are large in square footage. We are putting the house on the market, so quick turnaround was critical. John came out the same day we contacted him to provide a bid and scheduled our job as soon as we paid our down payment. Due to weather, unforeseen repairs required and a bit of miscommunication, the completion of our project was delayed 3 days, but John was responsive throughout and we are happy with the final result. At the end, we asked that he return to remove the rotten boards that had been replaced and he did so within 24 hours.

Decent painters but do not use JR Painting for any drywall repair or install work. I can see almost every seam and corner bead sticking out badly. They also did not prep the trim correctly before they painted. I had to hire another painter to basically re-do everything they did. He also smoked in the house and left the job incomplete saying he had to move on to the next job. When I asked him to fix one of his many glaring drywall issues and he blew up on me using profanities and refused to do it. He may be better at doing smaller jobs but do not hire him for anything more than one or 2 rooms.

Predatory pricing and appears to sub a lot of work out. Save yourself $ and hassle, just go with the other guy. We all know prices have gone up in the last two years, but this guy is ahead of the curve. I could not believe his prices. Reply: I unfortunately am a paying customer and regret deeply that I paid for your services. I could have easily saved the cash and done the job myself based on the quality of work I got. If doing bad work at inflated prices is what it takes to be in your industry, maybe I could be your competitor.

Purchased a fixer upper this past December and I use the term “fixer upper” quite loosely. The house had water damage to the dry wall and studs around a couple of windows. The wood rotted, and as result, the house got nailed with termites. The termites were treated, but damage was done and I had to tear down 2 walls to see the extent of the damage and repair as needed. JR Painting and Drywall did just that. The service when performed was speedy. They are worth every penny.

John and his crew did a great job on my smaller garage wall project. Their bid was competitive and the work, an even better value. They were punctual and stayed at it consistently until complete. BTW they also worked at my kids home on an attic reno and did excellent work there too. If you’re looking for a drywall provider who does what they say and stays at it, with exceptional result, look no further.

John and Jeraldtisha painted the exterior of our house about a month ago. They spent a good amount of time prepping and priming before painting. When they finished painting they went back and touched up a lot of the house that needed additional coats. They did a nice job and cleaned up well before calling it complete. Had multiple quotes and they offered a fair price. Would hire again.

Recently had the drywall ceiling replaced. Very easy to work with John and his team. Everyone on the team was really nice and did a great job. My favorite part is how knowledgable John is in his industry. He's willing to educate the client so that everything is open and transparent. As a woman, it's important to find trust worthy companies and this is one of them.

Just did a big remodel project and hung a bunch of drywall. We had a finishing disaster and that’s when I decided to call JRs to come and fix what we had messed up! Him and his crew were absolutely outstanding and I am so thankful that they were able to fix our mistakes! We will definitely be calling them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone!

We have used J.R. a number of times for inside and outside work (painting, replacing siding, mudding, etc). Their level of customer service and quality surpasses any other painter in the area that I have used in the past. Projects have been high quality, on-time, and completed quickly. I have recommended J.R. numerous times to friends and family.

J.R. helped me knockout a portion of a small dividing wall in my house so that I could turn it into an island. They were able to get it just how I wanted it in a timely fashion and even corrected some flaws from the original construction. Would definitely recommend!
