Very unhappy with my dealings with JAX Narellan. I visited to get a pinkslip but was advised car needed tyres which wasnt an issue. They offered a complete no name brand for like $100 each and then had a good brand tyre which was over $350 each. I asked whether there was something inbetween was i didnt want a no brand and i didnt want to spend excessive on them. I was advised they had no stock and would be a few days until they could get them in. Sadly i wasnt in the area for the next few days and managed to get some tyres closer to work which was convenient for me at the time. I returned a couple of days later as i had paid for a pinkslip earlier and could be rereviewed to pass for rego. I was advised that they had no time to tick it off (Maybe a 2 minute job at most as everything else was completed) I was advised i would need to come back next week which was approx 5 days from now and they would do it. I feel that they didnt want to do it as i hadnt purchased the tyres from them but they had already taken my money for the pinkslip. They have lost my business.

I've been to Jax a few times now with both of my cars. Customer service is fantastic. The reception at the desk and the mechanics I've spoken to are all really polite. They are very thorough when servicing and will provide you with a report at the end notifying you of any problems that may require attention, but they will not pressure you into fixing anything, unlike other mechanics I've been to in the past. There is no up-selling here or adding things to your service or putting you 'on the spot' to make a decision. If you refuse any additional work, they just accept it and carry on with the service. The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating instead of a 5, is because I think they're a little too expensive. I understand you get what you pay for and most people will happily pay a reasonable price for a good mechanic, but in my opinion, the prices at Jax are slightly above what I would consider 'reasonable'. If they adjusted their prices a little, they would hands-down get a 5 star rating. Overall though, they still offer a great service.

Great customer service all-round but, I'm a bit disappointed. I recently took my car in for a service at Jax as my other mechanic was busy, the service turned into quite a major one with the timing belt replacement and other stuff. All up the service cost $1,600. . . . which, fair enough these things happen with cars. However, I've never had oil leak issues with my engine. After this service, I observed a relatively minor leak of oil and coolant from the engine bay. I took it back to Jax and they were kind enough to look at it free of charge and fix the problem, saying a couple of things were accidentally left loose. I've had to take my car back twice now, because the sudden and continual leak of oil that they can't seem to fix. I've had to take my car back to my regular mechanic as they are more reliable with their workmanship. I reckon that I won't be returning to Jax for anything besides tyres.

Once bitten twice shy. First experience was about a year ago and I rolled in needing a quick puncture fix. Was told an hour (fair enough I hadn't booked) but when I came back 90 mins later it hadn't been looked at yet. 15 mins later a nearby competitor had it sorted. Thought I'd give them another go today because I've been told their wheel alignments are spot on (on a positive note workshop appears clean and everyone seems to know what they're doing) but I had a booking, brought forward at their suggestion by half an hour so it was quite disappointing when after an hour of waiting around from the scheduled appointment my car is still outside. Had to sort it elsewhere again. Fairly disappointing when I asked specifically on times due to my schedule, they make a commitment to deliver, then don't even go close. There's no point having quality work done if it's not done as/when agreed.

Ordered a suspension component from tough dog to be delivered to jax, as that's apparently how tough dog send their parts, and jax tyres were useless part arrived on Wednesday no call to say it was in, I then called tough dog on the following monday when they said it was delivered the previous Wednesday went in to collect and they gave me the excuse that it wasn't delivered till late Friday afternoon. The fact it's in the system says delivered 11am Wednesday shows the lack of respect to customers rather than say hey we dropped the ball we should have called on Wednesday they just didn't bother and lied instead, definitely wouldn't go there for anything mechanically as they can't even produce good customer service

Disgusted in they way the handle female clients. Had my tyres changed and asked them to check my spare in the boot. The staff looked and me and laughed saying it was the correct spare. 2 weeks later, I get a nail in my tyre and go to put on the spare and what do you know it doesn't fit! I took my car back to get a whole fixed ( which o should've NEVER have gone back to and given them more money. Raised the issue to the receptionist AND manger. The manger said he would look for a spare and call me back. A week later and still no call back. So unprofessional and so disrespectful how you treat you clients! Even you fooled reciews, you fight back like a baby. You've lost my service.

Great Customer Service Very Honest & through the whole process Prices are fair but can have better deals to make life more affordable great team but can improve dealing with customers inquires with a vehicle walk through after the job is completed, However they did explain everything to me over the phone. i do Highly recommend Jax Narellan i will always return here they take great care of my Vehicle & never had a Problem. Halfway through a longish road trip had to stop and check what looked like a tyre losing pressure. Jax Tyres at Narellan were very friendly and happy to check the tyre for me. They did a full set of tests on it and all was good, so we could continue with peace of mind. They were very quick and attentive to what I had to say, and after all that they didn’t charge me. Really excellent service and very reassuring to know that there are businesses around that will provide that kind of real support.

Went to Jax today at Narellan to purchase some tyres for my car. Received a great deal (buy 3 tyres. Get 1 free). Rob the man behind the desk was very accommodating and pleasant to talk to. He was very helpful. We had an appointment at 11:30 and they were very punctual despite being extremely busy that day. Workshop is very clean and customer waiting room and toilets were very clean as well. Thank you Jax, Narellan. Highly recommend them.

I called up Jax Tyres as I had a work truck stranded in Harrington Park....I wasn't familiar with area so called them up and spoke with Emma to see if they were able to send someone out to change the burst Tyre. As they aren't a mobile service they weren't able to send someone out, however Emma took the time to find a contact for me to call which turned out to be the perfect man for the job! Great service. I had accidentally blocked access to the spare tyre with a boot full of gear, and the mechanics were very gracious about it. They were considerate enough to move all items with care, and then also went to the effort of returning them to the boot afterwards. Above and beyond what was necessary under the circumstances. Customer service staff have all been very professional and provided prompt attention and friendly attitude. What everybody wants as a customer of a business. My tyre problems have been dealt with and I have been satisfied that pricing is quite competitive. Any marginal pricing differences have been completely offset by the standard of service and care we received.

Bit of a hit and miss. Went to change 2 tyres and was told better to change 4 tyres as the other ones may not last long. I asked them how much They responded $849 for 4. Why would I change pay $849 when my car is worth 3k? Please make smarter recommendations. At the end you are a franchise and I understand you have higher costs hence the you need to charge more.

Robert did a fantastic job with providing me with what I asked for and kept in contact the whole time. The wholesaler sent the wrong tyres and Robert sorted that out straight away for me. Dan was also great and sorted everything out perfectly. The tyres and wheels I got drastically changed the look of my car, it looks awesome.

Dropped in for a Registration Inspection. Premises clean, tidy and Covid Compliant. Staff well groomed, courteous, polite and Customer focused. Was advised about an hour if we wished to wait, so dropped down to Narellan Town Centre for a coffee. On return the car was finished, paid and left on time.

Went in for tyre check expecting to need new tyres, turns out I only needed a rotation, impressed they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Girl on the front desk really knows her stuff and explained everything to me really well when I picked the car up. Really good service, highly recommend.

Turned up at Jax tyres at 0745 (Time they open) with no booking. Asked for a wheel alignment and was easily done by 0845. That included me asking for quotes on new wheels. Wheel alignment was spot on and the report provided was extreme helpful. Thankyou Steve and the team at Jax.

My main gripe is that the dark grey wheels were scratched around the perimeter and had paint chips around the centre cap. Plus a scratch around a wheel nut socket. Their staff need a lesson in care for customer property.

Charged $60 to repair a simple puncture. And had to wait for this. All previous places I have punctures repaired have either not charged or cost below $20. Shop around is my advice.

Went in for simple wheel balance/rotate - picked up nails in 2 tyres, front disc glazing. I tow a 3200kg caravan so good to get checked out like this.

always try to upsell the unecessary services as necessary. otherwise if youve left it late to get a pink slip, usually can get in without a booking.
