17.03.2023: Zero care, absolutely disappointing! My partner has been saving up for a MacBook Air for a while. Today, she went into the store with the exact specs as she's not that familiar with tech and all. Its something one could easily tell. She asked for the 16GB version, yet she got handed the 8GB version by the staff member without her knowledge. She came to me all happy to show it off however turning it on we realized that its indeed the 8GB base model. We called and explained the situation but got told that since its opened they can't take it back anymore, then started to make my partner feel guilty over the phone about how they can't go through Apple and they need to resell this unit and she should've known it anyway. It's a $2,300 item, $2,600 with the 16GB RAM. One would think they are WAY more careful at this price point. The RAM in these units are soldered on so you are stuck with whatever its in them.

Went to buy a new phone 3 weeks ago and waited for half an hour whilst staff member talked to another staff member. Stated they were to busy to help when approached. Left without buying phone. Today went to inquire about region free dvd/bluray player. Waited another 30 minutes whilst staff member talked about watching Marvel movies with a customer. Got ignored initially when the conversation ended and I approached the staff member, and was treated with an eye roll when the staff member came back to the section. Abruptly directed me to Big W to make the purchase. Reason for writing this review is to let JB Hi-Fi know that the staff in the Mt Ommaney store have actively chased away over $800 worth of sales in the last month. Given the apathy and poor attitude of the staff I can't be the only sales they chased out of the Mt Ommaney Store.

The staff that have assisted me to buy items have always been helpful. Sadly, one experience at this store is why I am giving a negative review. The store is built up with signs and items everywhere, it is incredibly messy and difficult to navigate. So the queue area to line up is messy and confusing especially for older people. There was an older gentleman waiting to be served by the staff and he was waiting at the desk. The staff member was cocky and told him to line up in the queue area next time. He had clearly been waiting next, there wasn’t anyone in the queue. Respect your elders always, even if they line up in the ‘wrong’ area.

My most recent experience with this store was pretty good. Hands down this store is notorious for completely ignoring you especially if you’ve been standing at the one spot for over 10mins looking for help but this time round, Simon and the girls at the counter were very helpful. Bought a HP All in One and spoke to Simon on the phone prior to purchase. Upon arrival at the store I did get snubbed by 2 staff members so went and asked the counter for Simon who was really helpful. I’ll always shop at this store as it’s the closest to us but the store really needs to improve on rapport. Really happy with the purchase!

Shop is pretty much ok in terms of size and variety. However, I would have preferred to buy from Oxley if I knew how smaller is this branch. The problem which makes another star off was that the price tags were too old. The juicer we bought was down to $175 from $299 and the price tag was showing $319. That was the same with other juicers too which is pretty embarrassing for a chain shop at this size! We were lucky that staff member was doing her best to help us with our shopping experience.

Good stock, but i am standing in a store right now and have been for the last 10mins and i'm probably one of 5 customers in here right now and am yet to be helped. There are heaps of staff members here, but they are more interested in talking amongst themselves. Jb has dropped off really badly and i'm now googling a competitor to try out while i stand here looking at high end headphones.

Who doesn't like a good browse around JB? I find more and more I've just been going to JB Hi-Fi Indooroopilly for my electronic goodies rather than spending ages on the Web to save $5, and running the risk of being scammed or having the goods not delivered. Service can sometimes be a little slow, depending on what day you visit, but the staff, generally, know their stuff.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff, a lot of different stock loaded into the shop, that's one thing I've noticed about JB HI-FI is that they have just about every different brand of electronic available every thing from simple few dollar purchases right up to several thousand dollar purchases, your in good hands at JB Mt Ommaney. Constantly refusing to price match authentic retailers such as David Jones, happening over the last several years, other JB Hi-Fi branches have been more compliant with their price matching policy. This Mount Ommaney store throws out lots of excuse such as being below cost price. Very frustrating as this is the closest JB to my house.

I got a game from here, comes to Christmas and I open up the case and the game wasn't in there. A tad disheartened that the present my brother's got for me wasn't there. Other then that, the service was amazing, staff were all friendly even though it was a big Christmas rush beforehand. I just really wish I could play the game …

Friendly and Very knowledgeable staff. Usually stock is available when you want it. Clean well presented store. Staff will go the extra steps to insure you are very happy with your purchase. Great prices and will match or better the competitions price. Extended warranty is available on almost everything. Highly recommend

The staff here have offered me 'above and beyond' customer service multiple times in the last 3 months.. Howard (manager) has taken personal responsibility to ensure a good result for me when I have had extra-ordinary requests. The rest of the team have shown me similar respect and attention. Fantastic range of products and can’t fault the customer service. I bought the wrong wifi router and the Manager used their discretion to allow me to return the item for the correct one even though the plastic wrapping was opened. Greatly appreciative of that. Highly recommend dealing with this team!

Plenty of workers to help you and they don't try and rip you off they tell you if a cheap item is the same quality as expensive ones. Plenty of disabled parking and they pretty much have everything to do with electricals and Chris was wonderful seek him out you'll save heaps.

Click and collect customer. Lost 2* because had to be handed off to 3 different store staff, and each one required that I prove my identity to proceed. Not streamlined. Click and collect shouldn't be harder than walk in.
