I needed a few new kitchen items (spatula, can opener, etc), so I went to the kitchen section at this Penney's location. After finding what I needed, I walked around to try to find an open checkout counter. The one in the back of the second floor had a sign that it was closed, so I circle the floor and finally found one at the front of the store. The employee informed me that the station wasn't open and I couldn't check out there. At that point, I was done. I put my merchandise back and decided to go somewhere else. JC Penney, I like your stores and products, but come on- your stores need to be at least halfway convenient for customers. I couldn't find any open checkout area on the entire second level! I've been to the North Star Mall location and haven't had any issues, so I feel like it may be a problem at this location.

Had a very bad experience. The escalators were not working. I have a bad need and had to walk back towards the elevator. I finally found something to buy. Went looking for a cashier. I finally found one, 3 people were in line. I asked the cashier for another cashier, she told me "in the front of the store." Went there and again there was a line. The cashier was trying to bag some clothes. The bag was too small but she was still trying. Unbelievable no common sense. I finally got tired of waiting and left without purchasing my stuff. As I was leaving thru the back of the store , there were 2 cashiers and I commented. "I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO J.C. PENNY!!!" Never again

Very disappointing. We were next in line and a lady called us up to her register. I was looking in my app to get my coupon and card. I began to notice that our items were still not rung up. I looked up and saw the lady that asked us to go up was gone without a word. I tell the ladies that were already getting the next customers. They were surprised themselves they thought I was being helped. Graciela repeatedly apologized and assisted us. Her smile and professionalism is rare. I have over 15 years in customer service and I love that she did everything right. Took responsibility even if it wasn't her fault and quickly deescalated the situation.

Quality of merchandise it's not the best, but you can find great deals, specially in clearance section, the problem will be find your size, it's totally desorganized. Check out is terrible, always long lines and few check outs open. Prices increased in all sections and specials aren't attractive. Customer service is terrible. Difficult to find an associate. If you compare some items, like Columbia brand, the price here is so high when you compare the same article with Academy price. Example, a belt here is $ 35, and at Academy is $ 19.99. And specials you actually find better deals with know brands at Dillard's or Nordstrom Rack.

Went to have my 16mo old granddaughters Christmas pics taken this evening. Needless to say she was not having it and we were only able to get 3 half decent pics and didn't even try the second background. The two young ladies working were so understanding and accommodating! They helped me pick out the best of what we had to work with and gave me an amazing deal on the price! I had the babies first Christmas pics taken here last year and was very pleased as well. I will continue to come to this JCP photo studio for all of her pics! Thank you ladies for making this experience the best it could be under the circumstances.

So very upset I love JCP and it's been my go to store but I recently ordered with them in store pick up. They charged my card a pair of boots and when it was time to pick up I came in and they had nothing for me. The associate let me know that they did not have my size in stock and that it would be 7-10 business days before I was returned anything. If they had sent me a email or notification alerting me of the cancellation rather than me having to show up and leave empty handed it would have saved me the trouble. Their in store pick up inventory could use improvement as well as the communication to the customer.

I tried to buy 2 pair of cargo shorts, but they wouldn't honor their advertised price, because I didn't order online. Honestly, I'm tired of these silly games. I walked around for 20 minutes looking for the item, with no assistance anywhere. I waited in line for 15 minutes (with sore knees), only to be told my sale was a much higher price. My military family has been shopping at JCP for over 60 years. The company is a remnant of what it used to be. Prices are not competitive & choices are limited. I am giving up on this "sinking ship", & it's about time JCP goes the way of the dodo.

I was at the package pickup to pick up an online order. There was one lady before me @ the register & she was checking out her in-store purchase. She had lots of items, was check pricing an item, & using an online coupon. Needless to say, it was taking a long time for the cashier to finish ringing up everything. The line got to be 5 people deep, including myself. The cashier never called for any help. I must have been waiting 6 - 8 minutes before someone came out front to help. Very disappointed that the cashier seeing the line getting longer, didn't ever call for any help.

My sweater fell onto the wet restroom floor inside the stall of the store restroom. The restroom was so dirty and disgusting that I decided to ask one of the cashiers for a plastic bag so I can put my sweater in until I can wash it. She said no. I offered to pay for the bag and she still said no and never allowed to tell her why I was asking for it. On top of that her response was kinda rude. I would not have felt a need to ask for a bag if the restroom was clean. Worst female restroom I've seen probably ever. Terrible customer service.

The Cashier was the Greatest and My patient being ever. It's sad a person higher up saw her struggle and didn't help the new girl. These coupons n rewards program were so overwhelming for her. Took 20 , yes 20 min for her to process. The other cashier helped her little but she was busy. My mom paid her stuff, and I put my stuff back because it was ridiculous. The higher up person should've stepped in to help, instead she looked annoyed at the new girl and didn't help her...Help Us the customer. Loyal disappointment customer

This was my first time here and the visit was okay. They only have one checkout location and it is okay. Customer service was above and beyond all expectations.employees on the sales floor were outstanding they were very helpful I guiding us throughout the maze of confusion. Y’all need improvement on signage on locations of items, NOT just men’s or woman’s or petites. I would have rated them a 4 but, it was a jungled mess trying to find what we needed as there was displays galore and not enough signage for what we needed.

It was nice visiting my store again, well I'm ill & don't go out much because of my illnesses I'm in so much pain because of them. So I stay home but I definitely was in need of some winter clothes being that I've lost weight and nothing was fitting anymore. The only thing I didn't get to find was pajamas, warm-ups and under garments which I need very much too, also I didn't have any points accumulated either, so I'm going online see what if I get the rest of what I need. They got that buy 1 pair of boots, get 2 free thing going on, so you better hurry! Only thing is they don't have mens boots on sale, only women and children, which was a big disappointment after my wife spent an hour finding 2 pairs of boots she liked. We ended up just ordering them online, but still. The store has some signs hanging that said men boots too, but then other signs just completely and sloppily crossed out the men part. Super confusing, highly wouldn't recommend. 5/5

The staff itself is pretty friendly. The store though is completely unorganized when it comes to clothing. The sizes and clothes are all over the place. It is impossible to know what you are paying until you get to the register. Also, they closed down fitting rooms so you have to go out of your way to try things on when there is one in the section you are in, only its closed. I will go again only cause it is closest, but if there was a closer one I would try my hand there.

The five stars are mainly for the customer service of Ms. Nancy. Despite there being a line, she was so patient and kind walking me through how to resolve the coupon issue I had on my phone. Not once did she get irritated or try to rush me. At the end she actually thanked me for her patience, which I was shocked by as she was just fantastic. Her kind attitude and understanding made up for any faults the store might have. Plus they have frequent sales and coupons.

They have no idea what they are doing! Do not go here! Management is horrible!! We have been loyal Jcpenney employees for years and if was many of our family members first job and it has gone down hill!! They even over charged our items when they were clearly marked as clearance and after asked multiple times our discount was applied and the employee responded yes it most certainlywas not!!! Never coming to Jcpenney Ingram EVER AGAIN!!!!

Awesome staff my daughters hairstylist was so professional and she explained everything step by step and made my 14 yr old understand this was a long process in what my daughter wanted to get done on her hair ...we are sure coming back with her .....great price ....but to expensive for my kid of course she ain't paying .....lol dame ....but when momma can kid gets ....back to school hair style...she loved it Thanks Kristy ....

I loved it. Plenty of room, not crowded, Plenty of sales, kind ladies at the register. They close at 8 on Tuesdays. This weekend is tax free weekend. I expect them to be busy. I bought an outfit. Pants and two blouses.one for work and one casual wear. The lady at the register advised me to pull up a 25%off coupon at time of purchase and saved me some money. I only paid about 40$for all three items.How great is that.

Bought a $3,146 14k gold rope chain, 15 days ago, paid $774 bcuz it was on sale...opened the lobster clasp so I can put my pendant on it...clasp broke!! Jewelry is nice, great deals, but a regular priced $3,000 chain should NOT break after less than a month! Of course we got our refund. I forgot to take pics, like I usually do. I still love JcPenney, and their amazing deals, and will continue to be a customer!

JCPenney's every time I go by there it's like you never have enough people on the floor pretty much have to look up and down left and right to find someone who can help you or the cashiers are too busy because there's always a line I guess it's a good thing that your business is doing well but again the waiting really sucks and when you need some assistance there's no one ever around that sucks as well

I had a couple gift cards that I wanted to use. They had a super sale on their pink tagged clearance items. 70% off the clearance price! I got 1 dress, 1 pair of pants and 3 tops and still had 1.46 left. Mu receipt showed a savings of $306.!! They also had a sale on bath towels- $5.00 ea. and had a generous supply of assorted colors. The store was very clean and organized. The staff were friendly.

We purchased an air fryer from this store, we ended getting a Cooks brand air fryer it's a JCP brand fryer. We were really looking for a Ninja brand air fryer but they seemed to be out of stock, but there sure where lots of JCP brand products available. The air fryer works great but I would have loved to have the option to purchase from the competition instead of being forced to buy there brand.

JC PENNEYS, Has MADE BIG, BIG, CHANGES THEY HAVE GOTTEN RID OF MANY EMPLOYEES NOW IT'S EVEN HARDER TO GET ANY HELP ON THE TOP FLOOR AND TO PAY FOR YOUR MERCHANDISE THERE IS ONLY A PLACE TO PAY AND IT'S AT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEN AT THE BOTTOM SECTION YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY BY THE FRONT DOORS, YES THEIR ESCALATOR STILL IS IN SERVICE AND THE ELEVATOR AS WELL..GOOD LUCK AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

The women's restroom was in poor shape. There was feces on the walls of some of the stalls. Most did not have working locks. Absolutely no soap on these restrooms either. I hoped the men's bathroom would be better so I sent my kiddo with my husband. He said it was disgusting and dark on there. We will be shopping at a different location from now on.

I love shopping at JC Penney's! I've been wearing the Worthington Brand since the 80s. Nice selection of clothing. Just yesterday I checked out the latest kitchen pots & pans. Despite the few employees available, both a manager and a lead named Nina came to assist. Can't wait until they open the dressing rooms again!

It was crazy loaded with people. I had returns, from ordering on line. It is so expensive to take them back they charge a restocking fee. Had to get credit back then go shop for same thing I had gotten. Not one thing I bought on line was in the store. So if you order and it says it is at that store? Don't believe it.

The manager wasn't to helpful in assisting us locate a basket and did not open a register with 10 plus customers waiting to check out..2 cashiers were not enough for a Sunday afternoon.. Exchanges are only made upstairs by the Salon. I waited in 2 long lines then finally got to the right register where there was no line. I asked an Employee named Denise if they can let people know who are in line if they can let people know this and she said, no it has been this way for 2 years ‍♀️.

Due to the MAD Christmas Eve rush customer service was very limited. Down loaded the JCP app and some items came out on sale but Manager did not want to honor the price. I have been a card holder for 5 plus yrs and have never had this problem. Better off going to another store that honors their prices

I like to shop here, but the line is always long, not enough cashiers to check out with. I won't shop at peak hours its not worth it. Early morning or right before closing. I clearance shop bought 3 of same brand, same style shirts, different color all different prices.

They used to be 1 of the busy ones & would help. Now you have to wonder around trying to find a worker to ask or a cashier to pay. Since the layoffs, nobody wants to work anywhere.

I was there to pick up they came out promptly. I had a little one with me and she had to go in to wee wee so I shopped. I bought a bracelet and necklace set.There was no wait time.
