Never have I ever walked into a hardware store thinking I would find cute items and be there longer than ten minutes. I came here because I had seen the tcu metal shaped pumpkin yard signs in purple and white and people told me to find them here. Unfortunately, the cashier found out for me that they are all out and won't be getting any more this season. I wandered the right side of the store for probably 45 minutes. If you ever need to buy a gift for someone and you don't know what to get, this is the perfect store to go to. You will find something funny, cute, or useful, or even all three! Some items are really steep in price, for example, a small potted fake cactus was $12. It was cute and well done, but I wouldn't buy it at that price. There were some very funny tea towels at $14.99 which is about the market price for a custom towel. There were also hilarious door mats for $19.99. I was lucky to find a metal tcu #1 finger yard sign at 50% off, which ended up being a great deal. ($10 total) They also have a variety of scented candles and bar soaps. Tcu items galore. There are several unique tops that you probably won't find at the bookstore, a football shaped clear stadium purse, and much, much more! If you check in on yelp, you can use a 5% off code on your purchase. The cashier didn't know about it, but when she typed in YELP, it worked. And then, there's free popcorn! Enjoy it while you shop or on your way out. Seriously, I am so pleasantly surprised by Jabo's Ace. Oh yeah, they sell all your hardware needs in case you came here other than to look at beautiful gifts. ;)

Ace really is the Friendly, Helpful Hardware Store. They have a smaller inventory and yet in many ways that makes the purchasing decisions easier and the experience better compared to big box retailers. What I particularly love about Jabos is the incredible selection in the side front for up and coming knickknacks. The best gifts are always hidden in their great selection of candles, Texas or Tcu novelty and other fun assorted arts/garden/treasure fun. My husband enjoys the BBQ section that has all the Meat Church he could dream of along with Tragers and other manly grills that always seem to come home with us. Their outdoor department really helps us out when we are in a pinch working on a project as they are so close and always have something to help us out. From birdseed to tape, random sized screws and Christmas lights they have what we need. I’m also a big fan of the popcorn that is waiting for you in the front. When I get started on a project I forget to eat sometimes and the quick snack at the front gives me some extra fuel to make my weekends go from average to productive! Extra call out for the staff that is always getting us gas for the grill and answering our questions as to where something maybe, they are always in a good mood, knowledgeable and excited to hear about what we are working on!

Clean, friendly, and convenient. You don't have to walk all over Hell and Texas to find something and there's always someone knowledgeable if you can't find what you're looking for. Lol, what could you've done better to get a 5 star? My fiancée asked the same question and I don't know what you could've done better. I thought 4 star was a really good rating but I can see your point. Your workers were friendly and helpful, the store was clean, and it was a breeze getting our items so I changed my rating and I'm giving you a 5 . Customer service should be the cornerstone of any business and after the Covid-19 experience it has been severely lacking. Your store, however, hasn't suffered at all. I've been several times and it's always been a great experience.

As soon as you walk in the door there is a friendly face to greet you and asking if they can help you find anything. They are the reason I chose local over the big non personal home Depot and Lowe's stores. I don't mind paying a little more although Ace does have some killer sales and you can Always find help within minutes there not to mention they have a Postal Service station inside which makes it super convenient. AND if you are having problems with your plumbing they sell a huge gallon size jug of super drain stuff that we have been using for years! You will be impressed, we have actually canceled plumbers from their slow service because this drain cleaner works even in our 75 year old house.

Racist!!!! When in the store for Christmas lights as we have done thousands of times at many different Ace Hardware stores and this location refused to look up our contractor account and took 10 mins for a manager to come and he didn't try or even ask our company name or number he just stated we had to spend a minimum of $1000 in the store to buy anything. He said all 5 of their Jabo stores are connected and gave the same policy. I called another store and they said that's NOT TRUE and they never heard of that..... they just did not want to sell to us! Very disappointing and very disrespectful for no reason.

Where is one of the best hardware Stacy where's that I've been into all of the staff is knowledgeable and everything is good too they have great prices they have good that good fertilizer they have good potting soil that have all the Necessities that has a equipment with the style chainsaw weed eaters hand saws they have shovel handles they have all the knickknacks they carry stuff for TCU witches and I give him a Five Star All The Way the people that work here are fantastic they they're willing that they can pay something that can do the key if you need us to do it for you

Customer service is strived for here. I approve! I love when I have something specific I'm going to pick up at an unfamiliar place and I'm approached right away with a greeting and directions to where I'll find what I'm looking for. Time is money! These guys are on the ball. The inside of this store is also very clean and awesome. You can tell these guys care and I would love to meet the manager one day and commend him on an excellent job. It all makes a difference. If you're the type that doesn't like service, then don't shop here, because they want to help you.

This place is not only an awesome hardware store where you can find anything you need for any project for your home it is also a more awesome little boutique that has anything TCU you can think of but has lots of gadgets that women love And women's tools and tool helpers they have candles that are one of a kind name brand and not just your regular grocery store candles. All the employees are ready willing and able to help you with a smile on their face and they great you in and out the door. This place is AWESOME!!!

Horrible customer service!! Nobody there is friendly they just stare at you with no kind of smile! The guy at the register is the worst I have ever seen! I go there quite a bit and today was the worse experience I had at this store made me feel very uncomfortable and I go in there to spend money and deserve to get better customer service and than I called the store to speak to the manager and the phone just rings and rings I mean what is going on at that store!!

Shayne and his team were a tremendous help with a fairly complex return/exchange involving a grill. It would have been easy for them to just tell me they couldn't do what I was asking, because I didn't have any actual paperwork to support my position. But Shayne went above and beyond to get the required information, pricing, etc. and help me out. I am new to the area and this level of service has ensured the Jabo's Ace will be my go to spot for hardware needs.

I went in for a particular item the website said was available at that location. I was able to provide an item number to one of the associates who confirmed that their system showed it in stock. Unfortunately, we could not even locate a mod for it on the sale floor where it would be if they had it in stock. The rep was very apologetic. I would suggest an audit of your inventory and floor layout.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced at an Ace Hardware! Walked the entire store looking for someone to help me. Only two “helpful hardware men” were busy chatting about hunting. Asked for help and after a few minutes of them ignoring me, I left and went to another hardware store and got what I needed. The manager and or owner need to step up with the staff!

People forget that Ace Hardware has everything you might need for your garden or what you need in paints amongst many other things. Shop your neighborhood first, remember your neighborhood stores that are family owned and operated. The staff at this hardware store is so helpful and so friendly. The free Popcorn tastes pretty good too!!!

Great hardware store. Went to buy a Stiehll weed eater because they are only sold by servicing dealers. Think about that. They have a knowledgeable person to help and wouldn't let me have it until they started it for a test run. Thats service you don't get from the big box store. Friendly ,knowledgeable, helpful, a great hardware store.

Where you go to get great expert advice from a very knowledgeable staff about your latest home repair problem. They are a wellspring of hard to find spare parts unavailable at either Home Depot or Lowe's. Don't wander the corridor of a warehouse. Instead get what you need, some sage advice, and some free popcorn made fresh daily.

Their website said they had a certain product in stock. We made the long drive to Jabo’s and we’re told they do not have that product in stock. When I mentioned their website says they do, I was asked, “Do you believe everything you see on our website?” And local merchants urge us to shop locally and not order from Amazon….

Forget the big box stores: Every kind of hardware you need is here--and affordable! The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help. There are also super arrays of grilling equipment and lots of excellent Fort Worth, Texas, and TCU gifts. Oh, and a little post office too. Outstanding curbside service as well.

Unfortunately at the time that I went, the more knowledgeable people were gone for the day. So the remaining people were not very helpful. That's not to say that they are not knowledgeable in other areas, just not in what I was looking for at that moment. So my experience there was not very positive.

We bought eve vents and picked them up today an employee named JEN went and brought back our vents and then insisted on walking them to the car for us how nice that was everyone our first trip was so helpful but with JEN DOING WHAT SHE DID TODAY MY FAMILY IS NOW ACE CUSTOMERS GREAT JOB JEN! …

This was my first time visiting this store and I actually came because they have a post office in the back of the store. And they're open on Saturday until 6pm! The employees were helpful and pleasant and they have gained some new customers! Good customer service will earn my business everytime!

Quality small hardware store that will fulfill all your needs for a great price. Good service, good price, and also very cool that they have a good amount of things you can rent if you don’t need to buy something necessarily. They even copy car keys if you need it, and the staff is really nice

We have always went to Home Depot but they didn't have available items that we needed. So we decided to go here and THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING. Shout out to Joshua for going above and beyond by helping us find the items that we needed. The cashier lady was really nice as well!

This is a great place. For girls that need help and do not know too much about remodeling. This place definitely will assist you. Plus they have a lil bit of everything. From paint to vacuum bags home decor to gardening. Friendly local people. I highly recommend this Ace!

The workers was very friendly and very helpful. I went on to purchase 1 item. I ended up buying 10 items. I was also trying to get a battery for my key. The gentleman that helped me went so far as to look a a you tube video to help us both to open the key

Always very helpful employees but they didn’t have what I needed and it was listed online as being available at their store. The employee did run up and down several aisles to see if it was perhaps oddly located from where it might be. Maybe next time…

Was purchasing my usual bar b q supplies and the lady with the short grey hair was more focused on politics and trump getting I ducted than actually helping customers. I don’t care for politics and don’t want to hear about it in public setting.

I’ve given this store a chance several times but will no longer, under any circumstance, shop here again. I’ve been followed thought the store by the white owner/manager almost every visit here. I even spent almost $200 on things I didn’t

I always like coming in here. They have a great selection. Also, I love the pet isles because they have almost every type of dog food, leashes, and pet maintenance you could need. This is just slightly better than my Ace in Fort Worth.

Great service, easy access. Complete hardware store. Don't think lumber here. Does have propane filling, absolutely best deal if you fill your own tank. More propane for less money. Still strong operation!

The staff of young people did not offer help. They were just standing around. Old guys who know how to serve customers must be gone. Left the store without some of the items items I was looking for.

Slower than Wally World. Only one of three register open and at least 10 people waiting in line while the worlds slowest cashier chit chats for ten minutes with a customer with only 3 items.

Super helpful. Cheapest place ive been to for propane refills so far. I also had keys made here that didn't work and when I came back the staff was really helpful when getting them remade.

A great place to shop convenience, although you pay a little bit more. the store has everything you can think of or possibly need last minute, including gift giving items.

If you need it, you can probably find it there. As soon as you walk in there is someone to help you. With both answers to your questions and the know-how to do the job.

Normally this place is great but today I purchased a 36$ door knob that was placed on a rack that said 17$ I'm in a rush back to a job so it was a huge inconvenience.
