The Jack in the a Box team was disrespectful to me from the beginning. It was 00:30 AM and I was in drive thru. I had 2 orders from Doordash. Well when I went to the window without my vehicle the cashier gave me first order cuz the order was ready( less items) and when he was about start doin second order the FAT girl from the team said something to the guy and he was like to me “when it’s gonna be ready I’ll bring it to you” I said okw. I waited 15minute to get the second order. It was still not ready because costumer had more items in his order. I went to the window again and said “Can I get my second order” guy was like “not ready yet” but the team was able to serve others cuz they was busy by doin others orders from DRIVE TRHU. The guy disrespected me by saying “Oh no u have to wait cuz u don’t have a vehicle and when it’s gonna be ready I’ll give it to you”. What is the point if I get my first order without vehicle and on the second one he said this to me? When I tried to explain he closed the window and that was extra disrespect everyone! This is my first time writing a bad review! Too much disrespect to much anger from them. Two cars from drive thru left when they saw me staying out and not getting the order. I did not yelled to to the team cuz they are not worth it. like come on now I’m texting all this because of disrespect nothing else! It feels weird to be doing a review on a fast food restaurant. The only reason I've decided to include Jack in the Box - (the one on Pacific Hwy close to Grape St), is because of a young man named Carlos who works the register. This man epitomizes great customer service. If you remember from previous reviews, I appreciate customer service. I've been going to this Jack in the Box for almost 10 months now; and, every time I go, Carlos is at the register. He's always smiling, always polite and positive, and he always goes above and beyond. It's not every day I go to a fast food restaurant and am totally amazed and blown away by the customer service. Carlos is maybe 18 years old, but carries himself with a maturity way beyond his years. He takes your order, reads everything back to you and then goes and bags your order, all without complaint and with a smile. Carlos brings character, class, and dignity to Jack in the Box; he could easily be working in a fancy, fine dining establishment. The next time you're into fast food with exemplary customer service, check out Jack in the Box on Pacific Hwy and ask for Carlos.

The girl at the front seem like she was stoned and bored. No smile on her face no hi how are you today . I only ordered Mint Oreo cookies milk shake and med reg fries. While I waited I went to restroom to wash my hands and found it locked. There was no sign saying asked to be 'buzzed in' but I found out. Once inside I found it to be dirty. Toilet paper pieces and seat covers were all over the floor. And what really bugged me was there are no hooks to hang up your purse or jacket or shopping bags. Went to retrieve my food it was not the shake I ordered and when I told her she made a face like I was putting her out. Instead of vice versa. The fries were cold and hard. I tried to make her smile but it didnt work. On the upside the guy on the line was happy whistling and putting out his orders fast

Food was great. Chicken sandwich felt a bit more homemade than typical fast food in the US. Cheesecake was alright. Lemonade was sweet for my taste but overall good. Service was excellent, polite fast and friendly. There is however quite a lot of homeless people around the property and by the entrance. We were even approached by a man asking for drugs while we were sitting in the restaurant. As two broad 6 foot guys we felt "safe" and when we replied that we didn't have anything he left us alone so in the grand scheme of things polite enough but I can see this being rather intimidating and unnerving for many. Given the number of hotels in the area it could be particularly problematic for tourists which is a shame considering the staff were so pleasant and the food was great

Now, I don't know if it's supposed to be this way or not but, the guy taking my order either didn't understand what I was saying or he was trying to be funny. Either way I finally got across to him that all I wanted was a vanilla shake. So what makes this even more hilarious is that when I received the shake and was already a half a mile down the road, I discovered that my man had actually just filled up the container with vanilla ice cream. That is correct, ice cream, not a vanilla milkshake as I had ordered. Luckily, I had asked for two straws, which I used to shovel the ice cream out of the container. All in all I had a relatively nice experience at this particular Jack in the Box however I really would have preferred the shake to the ice cream.

We went through the drive thru and ordered 2 breakfast burritos and bacon burger with a few small items and drinks.. $$ was good but they didn't give me my burrito and my sister was to hungry to go back right away so I missed out of having proof I didn't get it...small parking lot not really much to call a parking area so we ended up having to drive down the block to find parking The curly fries that I had were good and my brother was kind enough to share his huge burrito with me and I gave him 1/2 my fries and it filled me up ... really liked the burrito..meat lovers I believe he got Not sure about the atmosphere inside but it looked too small. (This place should be getting zero stars) This is the worst Jack in the Box. My mother was distraught over being in a sketchy situation from her taxi, and her phone died so that she couldn't get ahold of anyone. She immediately got out of the taxi and sought help in the Jack in the box. The staff was very unwelcoming. I called them, concerned for my mother, and they did not bother to help or see if my mom was standing outside like she was. My mom had to stand outside the Jack in the Box until our friend could grab her 45 minutes later. My mom was upset over the incident, and the staff was horrible. She then asked for the manager's name, and they laughed in her face. I will report this store and ensure this behavior doesn't happen again. SHAME ON YOU!

It's a wee bit more expensive than the City College location, but every aspect of this restaurant makes it worth it. The manager here has a lot of pride in providing a clean, fast and friendly experience for their customers. Edit: came for a Jr burger, no cheese. Got charged for the cheese. When I went to the counter she recounted events differently, then told me to just take the cheese off myself, cause that's all they're going to do. Even after I told her it's because of an allergy. Gross. We touched that burger.

Where do i start? this place has honestly the best customer service! the manager Robert was there and the machines for debit/credit cards were down. We did not carry any cash only our cards that we have from Canada. he gave us the curly fries we wanted for free and also some drinks. my gf and i were so amazed by his service! Food was delicious and honestly would come back anytime!!! Prior to leaving he called for us and even gave us a treat and wished us an amazing stay in San Diego! Thank you so much Rob for your kind service and hospitality as well as for your team working that night ! We will never forget that! Next time we come from Montreal we will pass by and say hello! Wow first time i have eaten at Jack in the box and will never again. After waiting for 30 min i approached the counter and asked whats going on and was told they had forgotten our order. We eventually got our food and it was cold, burgers was stale and soagy, tacos were stale. The food had clearly been sitting around for a long time. We didnt want to hang around due to a very bad atmosphere due to a man smashing up the counter with a skateboard and going of on a racial slurr seconds after we walked in. I gave the service 2 stars only because after previous mentioned events the lady behind the counter kept serving customers.

Absolutely disgusting establishment, The tables showed a ton of residue after “cleaning” and the staff was so slow and rude. There was this girl that rung us up who was taking her sweet time and didn’t even offer us a receipt or even give us our order number. Homeless people were coming in left and right and the establishment didn’t feel safe at all. A guy who was high came in and started yelling at all the customers, and the employees simply said to ignore him. The food was terrible and the soda machine kept on glitching. The fries were cold and soggy, and the burgers were pretty dry. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE.

i would rather die alone than eat at this jack in the box they literally shut the door on me when i was trying to order if i could give 0 star i would.

It was just ok. The soda machine needs a serious cleaning and/or needs to be maintained more often. You can taste it in the drinks. I've tried it on 3 different occasions in 3 months time.. not good. Tables were a little messy each time. Burgers/fries/churros didn't taste or look fresh. With all that said, unfortunately, I've eaten in a couple jack in the boxes that were worse. With all THAT said, lol, fortunately, I have eaten in many well kept Jack in the Box's and I've enjoyed their food for years.

I like eating at jack in the box. And I love ordering the stuffed Jalapeños. But for some reason. Everytime I order them here they never come out good. They are not made well. They come out really soggy compare to the other places where they come out nice and crisp with the cheese melted. The ones I get here the cheese is not even melted. Also the fries come out soggy and not crisp. And the burger I order felt like if the meat was already made and kinda cold. Been here 3 times and been trying to go back for a refund. But since I go during my lunch break I don't have that time.

Fast food that is out the drive- thru window fast. Always friendly service, well prepared food and the fries are fresh. Only once did I get my curly fries that were a bit old, my next visit spoke to the manager and they took care of everything. Excellent customer service, especially one employee, Ms. Luna who is such a pleasure to interact with. This restaurant is recommended and a good place to eat.

This is the worst experience of my life. No employees were wearing masks. The manager as well as the employees were extremely rude and we're using inappropriate language behind the counter as well as at the customers. They made us wait to prioritize the drive thru over the customers in dining. My family and I have never been disrespected like this by anyone. This location was not only not following cdc guidelines but was not up to code at all. I WOULD NEVER EVER TELL ANYONE TO GO TO THIS LOCATION! NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE HOW BAD THIS SERVICE WAS!

Food was great, even go extra sauces and returned them to the front cashier.. but hmmmm. Was about to use the restroom.. they have two available, no signs for Employes only in any door. Was going to use one at the same time a Manager was going to use it as well.. he told me, "this one is only for employees, that one is for customers" and just jumped in the restroom like nothing leaving me outside waiting for the other door. Customers first ? I don't think so. Doors have NO signs whatsoever of being for employees only. Kind of rude.

I go to this Jack in the box because the people are so friendly so kind you get fast outstanding service with a smile even though that there are quite a bit of homeless that come in and out are those with mental illnesses the staff show positive responsibility and handling such clientele with a smile there is no prejudice or discrimination at this place the management is outstanding and a wonderful place to rest grab a chicken club sandwich and a wonderful soft drink

Ordered a #25 breakfast combo about noon and it was cold and soggy, the hashbrowns were stuck to the paper wrapper, crunchy on one end and dripping grease on the other so i ended up throwing most of that away. The small sprite was excellent tho For the atmosphere, i had a homeless guy Laughing full volume at whatever his imaginary friend was saying to him, which isnt really jacks fault.

Good food as usual, longer wait then expected on my last visit and the staff were overwhelmed. I can say that the manager was going out of his way to have the kitchen pump out the food as fast as they could to catch up with the rush. I would recommend better scheduling to help prevent this issue from recurring as the front was running out of supplies and needed cleaning. But overall I would return again. the food was good and the convenient location next to the airport also supplying a restroom is a huge plus.

Weird. Thought that was your job. No worries I'll place it online. Customer service is great. The food is good! To me, this location is a historic place, and I have been coming here since I remember, many, many years ago! There are always homeless people outside or inside. But that has nothing to do with JB.

This place must have some issue with their fryers. Ordered onion rings and a shake. Shake was good, hard to go wrong there. The onion rings however, were served in one giant ball all fried together as though no one shook the basket after the first minute or so. This made a crispy outer layer and a raw uncooked center. I thought a shake and a fried item would make for an easy order. Oh well, chocolate shake saves the day.

It may be weird giving five stars for a fast food 24-hour joint... But I went there the other day at 3 in the morning with one of my spit drunk colleagues... and they still exhibit professionalism, patients, and keep their composure even though I wanted to tell my colleagues to shutup and behave.... For THAT they definitely gets 5 stars for me !! Of course the food was also awesome as it always is ...

So went to drive thru and the BIG lady the manager had us pull over, and grab stuff from inside. As we waited for the second order the first got cold. The tacos had no lettuce and soaked in grease.They put 4 pieces of chicken in the fries. Then they started speaking Spanish disrespectful to customers. This place is f.. up need new management and to clean the kitchen as they go it's a mess in there.

I don’t feel like I ever leave positive reviews for fast food, it’s usually just alright. This was perfect. Got two tacos, no cheese, a medium Curly fry and one egg roll. There have been many times. That I have stopped in to this Jack in the box and many times I have walked out feeling alot happier from when I walked in, the service is good and so is the food, But I will say that it does get a Lil busy in there so be ready to have a Lil patience. Ordered two tacos...I wasn't expecting much for $1.79 but it was pretty sad...a teaspoon of some sort of mysterious goop, lettuce that tasted spoiled, and a taco that was hard in places and falling apart soggy in others...I doubt they could've done a worse job if they tried...visiting from Canada - my first and last visit to this chain

Miguel the worker was amazing. His customer service and hospitality skills will take him far. He’s so friendly and helpful. I unfortunately will not be returning because there are too many homeless people that live inside here during the day. They were fighting in the parking lot making it unsafe for me and my kids in the future.

Great location. Typical fast food selection. Friendly service. Great fries. Handy drink machine. Enough specials. Ketchup should be in a bulk server to reduce waste (the small packets). The burger was dry and the bun was not toasted. (See pic) We ordered a shake, which was quite good ( in spite of NOT being custard.

Ordered my food and went to my hotel, is like 8 minutes away. The food was really cold. Jalapeño poppers not even warm. My burger was cold when I wasn't able to eat it. My wife didn't eat her burger as well. I wouldn't recommend it . Sorry but thumps down for me..

Not like other Jack in the box locations. This place was scary, low end fast food. Tables dirty. They couldn't tell us the difference between the only two salads they offer.

Thry got the order right and did it with a smile so service was great. They were out of chicken nuggets both days we went and the area has a high homeless population. But my kids loved the food, so we went 2 days.

If you want to go to a restaurant and have dogs that are definitely not service animals while you eat. What makes it really bad is another manager watching the dog run around... This is a disgrace to the people that really need a service animal. Based on the picture it is not a service dog!

This Jack in the box is the best! My favorite lunch spot! I work downtown and the staff here is very pleasant!

A little busy during lunch, like any other good place in downtown but I got my good in a timely manner, order was accurate, no complaints besides the parking situation being a little tough. Very small parking area but the location is perfect. One of the few fast food places in the area

My friend complained that they added salt to his fries when he requested no salt. He complained and the manager found out. Two days later they gave him a full free meal with no salt added to the fries! Way to go Jack N the Box!

Wow! This place is still here, used to come here back in 2006 & there used to be an Albert's Mexican Food place directly across the street where the fire department is now. Near the train tracks. That place had excellent burritos …

Came in for Lunch. Very convenient location close to the MTS trolly station and waterfront. The only negative is this location was a bit messy and the customer service was ok. My lunch was fresh and delicious.

Horrible customer service, 3 people waiting in line to order, about 6 employees just working, customers not being greeted. When they did get to the paying customers they would ring you up, wait to get your food, give it to you then ring up the next customer.

A great place to get a good meal. My favorite and family’s favorite tinny tacos, chicken strips, spicy chicken sandwich and few items of your breakfast menu. Thank you for servicing your customers with a smile…. Happy 4th of July …

First time eating at a Jack in the Box franchise, and I enjoyed it very much! Great greasy food with good prices, service was speedy and accurate. Can't say I've had it in different locations, but it was well done and made here. Good junk food.

Good Fries! Staff is fast at making them and are helpful. Quite a bit of homeless in the area so be careful.

Five stars for the outstanding drive thru employee. She apologized for the short dinner hour wait. It's "rush" hour and you should expect a bit of wait. Regardless you are lucky to have such a good worker. Food was well prepared too.

The soda machine smells like mold I threw my cup away and grabbed a bottled soda on the way home. This should be cleaned daily I'm pretty sure this place coukd get shut down by the health department for a moldy beverage dispenser.

Good price for average food. They have a $5 meal deal going on now and it's pretty good for the price. Their shake was surprisingly palatable and worth however much was paid. Manager there was kind in taking our order.

I used the drive thru at 2am right after work and service was quick... I find it very convenient it's 24hrs... Construction around the site makes it confusing to access.

This is the only one that is actually open 24hours. It's Jack in the Box. Service has been pleasant and I get to have my chocolate Oreo shake. I love this place.
