This was a surreal place to visit. The first Black cemetary in Houston. This place is huge and I'm glad to see that it was neatly manicured. It was good to visit the resting places of former veterans, leaders, cowboys, railroad workers, and family members from the past. Now, that I had a chance to spend time here, I have a new found respect for Jackson, Evergreen, Olivewood, and College Memorial Park. Hopefully my pictures and videos will bring awareness to the black community so that we can work together to preserve these historic cemeteries.

Brah me and my home boy went but we thought it was like a land lords THT could never sell the land so we tress passed and we did not thought what we would imagine so right know I'm doing research on it and know I know it's a cemetery I'm going back with a few friends next week like11 of us are going cuz the won't believe the 3 of us so we r going next week to explore more
