Great experience and great service. I recently moved to Waterdown and was in need to get my car serviced. You sometimes hear of horror stories with auto mechanics, however this is not one of them. The team at Jay's was amazing (thanks Dave). I needed my brakes looked at and was able to get an appointment quickly, I dropped off my car early in the morning and got a call in the afternoon and found out that my ABS unit was shot. Dave quoted me a price for the part, labour and taxes. The part took longer to come in than expected so the car had to be brought back to get worked on. They offered me a loaner car as the work was taking a little longer to complete. The team at Jay's were very accomadating and stuck to the price quoted even when the work took a little longer. I was very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to bring my vehicle back for any further work or to recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic.

If you're looking for an honest and trustworthy shop, look no further! I've been using these guys for a few years now and they've been great and accommodating of my schedule every time. TWICE I've brought my car in because I thought it needed an expensive repair/service, and instead of taking my money and pretending to fix it, they were honest and told me my car just needed a minor touch up. Plus, during the blizzard last winter, my car was one of many that got stuck on the street near this shop. These amazing employees all came out and helped dig out and push our vehicles along!

My wife did a regular oil change with my 2009 Hyundal this morning, ended at a bill of $650. This business changed the spark system(wire+spark+labour) at almost 500$ without any clear explanation ahead. They phoned my wife in between the service, didn't state spark service and my wife thought just a couple of filters plus oil change which cost around 60$ in total. This is kind of rip off. Since my car maintenance shop closed Hamilton, I am looking for local shop in Waterdown. This is a definitely bad experience.

Fred and I believe Dave and his team are our go to peeps for all our service needs. We have been using these mechanics for over 15 years and we won't go anywhere else. The people who work here are responsive, caring, honest, funny, they go above and beyond, and most of all they tell you the truth about your car's issues. We love the courtesy car experience as that is the biggest issue when we need to leave our vehicles with them. By far the best service shop we have ever used!

I still perform most of my own service on my vehicles, but there is always the odd time when I don't have the tools (such as mounting new tires), or simply don't have the time to perform a repair myself. While Jay's is a full service shop, they will also happily help you with the small things, too. Their work is great, and I find the costs to be reasonable. Great staff, and very close to home. Couldn't ask for more. I would have no problem recommending Jay's to anyone.

Dave and the team are great. Honest and fair, what more can you ask for in an auto shop. Been using them for 5 years now on Ford Dodge and Mercedes back when I was silly enough to own them. They were so much better than Mercedes Burlington for anything they did. They are the first place I'll take any of my vehicles.

Excellent service from excellent staff. This is the only shop I will go to. I have left cars there for two weeks because I don't trust anyone else. its worth the wait. My experience with Jay's was pretty good. Initial telephone booking was respectful and appointment wait was 2 days(good for me). Their diagnosis was quick and the repair costs were fair. I was a little taken back at the synthetic oil change price. Overall, satisfied and will return. Thanks

i cant get over how good the whole experiance was. i dropped off my car and got everything done plus extra for a more then fair price , this might be the best shop ive ever been to. super happy, will only be doing buisness with these people from now on.

Outstanding! Jeff went above and beyond, replacing a key fob battery and checking some additional components, without being asked and without charging us. All this when we were just having winter wheels swapped. We will absolutely be back!

A great family owned auto repair shop. I take my cars here exclusively. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and do not try to rip you off. They do good work and I have never had a problem with any of my repairs.

Paid $160 for a synthetic oil change, way more expensive than the dealership ($95). Wanted to keep our business local in Waterdown but definitely will not be returning for that price !
