Guys were very condescending. I walked in, looked around and found what I needed. I took my purchase to the counter where I was asked multiple times if anyone had helped me(it’s an open store with short shelves and they weren’t busy, not half obvious I received no help). As he was scanning my purchases he sat a step down transformer I had picked up off to the side and stated this is not what I need without asking a single question about my needs and tried to push one over double the price to me. When I refused and asked for the one I had picked out, he refused to continue and asked the assistant manager to come talk to me. I explained the two minor uses I had to test equipment I had brought from the states and I knew exactly what I needed. The assistant manager was much more polite, but again we go through the same circle that I know nothing and I need to double what I’m spending for no reason. I’m finally gave up, bought the few cables I needed today, and left without my transformer. Very poor service and I will not be back.

I would like to share with you a few facts about JAYCAR ELECTRONICS ASPLEY. You will be assisted by the most amazingly, wonderful people whom of which are all experienced, proficient and happy to help you extend your knowledge. If the staff can’t help you they will certainly point you in the right direction. From my own experience they all go above and beyond to assist their clientele. An employee there once told me is no such thing as a silly question – questions are all about learning , growing your knowledge and expanding. Peter explains the workings of products in a manner which I understand. He also includes a hand drawn diagram which cements the information. And because of the above I always suggest to family, friends and anyone I am chatting with to try JAYCAR ELECTRONICS ASPLEY before going anywhere else. Look, every time I go here, the staff service are top notch. They seem to love what they do and there always seems to be someone who can relate to you specifically about what you're trying to attempt, and give you sound advice on it! At the risk of sounding sexist, I was impressed that there was even a young female staff member helping me out, and telling me about her soldering experiences with the different parts I was looking at! Her advice was invaluable. Strangely this is all in stark contrast with the Wooloongabba store, which is dismal, the staff are uninformed about what's in store, and reluctant to help. I have given them a low score and negative review.

My local outlet, staff are always on the ball, know what they are selling and where to find it quickly, always super friendly and passionate about their products and will often steer you toward the most suitable item for your needs. Store is well patronised, even when super busy staff are smiling. I witnessed yesterday a staffer offer to have his wages docked so as to allow a discount for a customer, I think that says it all about their attitude toward customer relations. Wishing it was open today on Australia day for I would be there again to stock up on more long weekend project materials.

Beautiful staff at Jaycar Aspley & WONDERFUL customer service! I can't thank Gareth enough for going above and beyond (Called around, spoke to managers, staff, used google for any Tips) followed up by a phonecall out of the goodness of his heart. I ended up ordering through the manufacturer (Soniq) & returned 1x week later to process my refund in which was handled by Harley who's customer service was just as outstanding! Had to visit Jaycar Aspley yesterday to get help with a bilge pump operated using a cigarette lighter that died & I needed it to help get rid of water from the drain under my house during the severe weather in Brisbane. I have never had more wonderful service. The guys that helped me went above & beyond & all for a less than $15 sale. Definitely the place to go for your electronics. I will absolutely go back. Jaycar here are always on the ball. Soon as you walk in and they are either talking with a customer or say hello to you at the counter and ask if you need anything specifically. Very tech minded on all of their product's. They have helped me out quite a few times on what product would better suit an application. Great prices and they have loyalty card if you buy there fairly regularly, if you want to join.

They helped me trouble shoot a 3d printer kit I got from another jaycar store. I'm absolutely stoked that the problem wasn't as bad as I first thought and they fact Ian went through a number of possible issues until he found it was top notch. The store was busy and the fact they were still able to help me in a friendly and professional manner was fantastic. Thank you so much for your help.

Jaycar is always a great store to get electronics and related parts and accessories. The staff are friendly, helpful (without even having to ask!) and definitely know what they are doing. I recommend coming here if you need R/C gear, micro electronics and related items as they are more advanced and focused on parts and accessories for diy projects.

Went here on Wednesday looking for a certain thing, it was in stock but was not the one that I wanted. The staff member was very helpful and suggested other options that I had not thought of. They were very helpful and did not rush to get me out of the store. Parking is a bit limited at the rear of the building but there is other parking close by.

Wide variety of products at decent prices, they have everything from industrial components, toys and gadgets, electronic kits and educational items. Staff are all knowledgable. I go here quite often. If you buy components, do the staff a favour and write the part number down. They'll love you for it. Minor niggle is the small car park.

They had everything I wanted, had staff on the floor to provide customers assistance. I was able to buy exactly what I required. Great service, wide range of products. Have previously visited and bought a retro-game console, which had hundreds if games if you a bit older you would have played in the 80's to 2000's.

Was served promptly. They had laptop charger I needed. Was a good price,cheaper than I was expecting. Friendly staff. Just found it hard to get in and out of due to location but now I have been there I will be able to manage it better. Google was misdirecting me so I worked it out after going around the block

Peter helped us out today. Absolutely fantastic customer service, even helped us problem solve with different solutions. He genuinely wanted to help us out and compared different products for our needs. However he didn’t go over board, he listened to us before making decisions which we really appreciated.

Went in for a uni assignment not knowing alot about electronics and breadboards although the guys at aspley were really helpful and were able to give me the right advice. Went to the store on ipswich road and they gave me surface mount parts for a breadboard :S these guys were much better

Good electronics shop, friendly staff, great service, and a ramp to the front door. However all that good is marred by the shop having a disabled unfriendly front door. Whilst I with my wheelie walker could just manage to get in, any wheelchair user would be stuck, unable to enter.

A gentleman with a well crafted moustache went above and beyond today with his service. The product I was after was not available at this store, he recommended an opposition and was even going to Google for me. I will definitely be going back to Jaycar Aspley in the future Graham

Great service, intelligent staff and busy little store. Certainly better experience than other local Jaycars locally. Prices are okay considering the high customer service standard. That said some consumable are up to three times cheaper at Officeworks.

Very difficult to find what you're looking for, especially smaller items to finish a project. Staff always busy, never seem to have the time for quick questions. EFTPOS minimum is comedic in todays' society. I'll stick to online shopping thanks!

On two occasions now - the last on 22 June 2023 Peter at Jaycar Aspley went out of his way to assist me. The last occasion involved me trying to get a controller for an old TV. Peter got out five numbers one of which should have got my TV

Good quality products......but the customer service was appalling. There was myself and one other couple in the store. The 3 staff helped the couple profusely, but never once engaged me.
