Tara Wilding was absolutely horrific to deal with as a property manager for the house we were renting (thankfully we owned and rented out our own house so we knew our rights). During summer and the closing hours of the main office, our aircon stopped working, we turned to our lease agreement to see numbers to call in case of an urgent repair - we saw a number for a plumber and also under ‘urgent repairs’ the breakdown of an aircon was an urgent repair. Tara didn’t respond to any of our phone calls or emails, so we called the plumber. When Tara heard of this she absolutely berated me over the phone, telling me that we will have to pay because the owners weren’t happy with us, I told her on consumer affairs an urgent repair is the fixture of an aircon, ITS SUMMER, we have 2 kids - she stated it wasn’t an urgent repair and that it was in the email they sent when the office closed. Consumer affairs says otherwise - when I sent her the proof of that she said it’s something consumer has just added - uh no, this was added in 2021. And they’re still sending out emails stating it’s not an urgent repair! Multiple times we’ve had to chase things up with her, we were either unanswered or she said that she did email us (she never did). We’ve had to deal with a broken dishwasher that was never fixed, the TV point had broken, an electrician took a picture of water damage inside the wall (never fixed, even though it was flagged with her), the electrical/fire check done at the start of our rental agreement it was stated that the stove didn’t meet standards (you guessed it, never fixed) When we moved out, we asked for the final inspection report, and our bond back, both weren’t addressed, we had to get our own bond back through the RTBA website. This will be the 3rd bad review about Tara Wilding and I’m guessing it will not be the last due to how unprofessional, hostile and just the worst to deal with. As a property owner, if our property managers ever treated our tenants like that, we would be absolutely mortified. I’m surprised she still has a job.

Rayni Jerram from Jellis Craig Greensborough is a rare exception in the world of real estate. She is warm, kind-hearted, genuine, incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, as well as full of integrity. From the moment she came to appraise my property (I wasn't even sure I was going to sell) I knew she was the agent for me. I actually feel blessed to have found her. She offered sound advice and patiently took the time to educate me on me the process and options available for selling my home. While I wasn't sure of my next steps she assured me the 'right time would be the right time'. Within 2 weeks I'd accidently come across my dream home! She assured me we could make it happen and was able to list my home within a week! Rayni danced beautifully between communicating every step of the way and also taking charge and making decisions that I was not equipped to make. She consistently went above and beyond what you would expect from an agent including managing my fluctuating emotions during the process ;) Admittedly the whole process was pretty stress free which is remarkable. I completed trusted her and rightly so!! She delivered an exceptional result in a very short timeframe and just before Christmas. Rayni is a gift to anyone buying or selling their house, she truly cares about putting people in their forever homes and making their dreams come true.

Had to deal with Tara Wilding when she was working at McGrath. Seemed fine until we requested repairs for a broken dishwasher and understood our rights while requesting the bond back. Legally non urgent repairs have to be addressed in 14 days according to consumer affairs Victoria. We followed up with our request a month after the initial request and got no response. Our lease was coming to an end anyway so we didn’t bother (she has since claimed it wasn’t her fault the owner wasn’t actioning the repair but as I said, legally tenants have the right to the repair being done in 14days regardless of the owner being slow to action). Then when we lodged our bond request Tara tried to bully us into cancelling it (claiming that we couldn’t make the request yet and could be fined if we didn’t cancel). After seeking advice from RTBA we knew this wasn’t true and stood our ground. Tara was very bitter after that point. She claimed it wasn’t clear we’d given ‘vacant possession’ despite receiving the keys. Unpleasant, and unprofessional end to our renting experience with her. Make sure you know your rights if you’re stuck with her.

Steer clear of Cheryl Hargreaves as a property manager. She'd take the rug from underneath her own mother. Greedy greedy greedy, just out to destroy families and lives. Zero care for someones housing or safety, zero care the affect she has on families. Have had to contact VCAT and the Tenants Union of Victoria with a complaint after she's bled us dry trying to prepare our rental for sale for the landlord. Whinged that "the mower couldn't reach the edge of the grass" $180, "fingerprints on the cupboards" and "footprints on the floor" $1200, demanded we pay for external window cleaning, cobwebs to be removed from the outside of property, you name it!! demanded the NEW BUILD property be returned to them in the same condition after having been lived in.... MENTAL!!! Not worth it, do not recommend. Luckily we took our own photos of the property and its exit condition.

Tara Wilding was the property manager for a unit I was renting for a while, and then she became the manager of my purchased property when I looked to lease it out. I loathe real estate agents. I really cannot stand them. However, Tara was polite, professional, and did her best to obtain fixes when I submitted them. Sometimes she was successful, other times the landlord refused. I respect her work. She cannot force a lousy landlord to take responsibility. However, my interactions with Tara gave me the confidence to approach her to manage property, because I knew she would listen and respect my wishes for a certain type of tenant. Now, a happy and settled single parent and their children are in there. Thank you, Tara. You know the law, you are respectful, and you lead with empathy. What a pleasure to work with you.

Make sure you take photos before starting a rental with jellis craig!! (they must "forget" to send entry reports) I feel bad for the amount of people who are probably loosing there bonds and more at the end of there lease over things they didn't even do!! Also we have had over 3 property managers coming and going during our rental which has felt chaotic at times especially when trying to orgainise repairs. When you get a new manager your requests just get lost in space and forgotten about apperently. Happy we have brought a house now so we do not have to deal with the stresses that come with renting with jellis craig. Also adding in how stressful it has been having to deal with vcat process over things we clearly didn't do at this time of year!!

Worked With Jellis Craig Greensborough (Daniel O'Regan) in 2017 for purchase our first property which was very pleasant and Worked with Nicole Manley this year for renting out of the property and that was Great. The whole process was clearly described, easy and moved so fast that did not even end up putting an online Ad up - Cant Speak more highly of their professional attitude and warm approach. Defiantly recommend. UPDATE: Sold the same property with Daniel and Karen, they made it very easy and got us a good deal and good terms for the sale.
