If you're eating in, it's fine, but don't bother ordering delivery. Freaky fast? Not a chance. No lunch again for my students. About twice a month I order box lunches for the students at Second Baptist. The school is maybe a mile from this location. The school doesn't have a cafeteria, so when the food doesn't arrive, the kids don't get food. This is the third time, so 50% of the time, that my kids food is 30-45 minutes late. The first time was a driver had a flat tire, then the printer wasn't working, and this time was the driver forgot their phone so they couldn't deliver. (it's down the street) Both people I spoke to were condencending and rude and had different reasons why it was late. Mary said the system was down. I explained that it means my kids won't get to eat, to which Mary laughed about with other coworkers and said if I wanted the food delivered she needs to get off the phone or I need to cancel the order and joked about me being "very angry this morning" over the phone (which is already made and paid for) I said I'm not angry, I just want the food delivered, and yes I'm frustrated as a parent for my kids. I said I would like to speak to a manager about a credit on the account or a free cookie or something that this is happening so often with no apology or willingness to rectify the mistake. Again she laughed and said we will have to call you back later and hung up. From reviews I see this is a common experience. When the food does happen to arrive, it has been accurate and made well. So no complaints of the actual food.

Food was good for what it was: No frills cold sub. I like my sub toasted. Not an option here. They asked if you wanted cheese. It was extra and no options. No options on bread type or chips either. Staff okay, not especially friendly to a first time visit. In fact they acted board. Not unkind just : What do you want? Give me the number ! Don't ask questions! No atmosphere. Sparse sit down area. Very cramped. No good place to wait for order unless you like standing in the hall for the toilet rooms. They do have outside west facing tables. I had a roast beef sandwich regular larger than Subway 6 inch. Other person had mini tuna. Hot dog bun size. Both had oatmeal cookie ( very good ) , drink and chips. I understand they built the business on quick delivery. Might give that a try but no place for quick but sit down lunch.

We ordered lunch today from JJ because my husband was craving one of the JJ favorites. I’ve only eaten here once before and wasn’t thrilled but I decided to give it another try. I ordered the Beach club this time and it was literally the worst sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The “avocado spread” was a few tablespoons of Green something hidden between the cheese and had zero flavor, it definitely didn’t taste like avocados. The mayo was completely left off the sandwich all together and the bread was like chewing rubber. There was zero flavor to the sandwich! I was hoping my first experience with JJ was a fluke but after this go round I’ll not try a third time. I get that lunchtime is super busy but y’all can certainly spend some time improving. My husband likes his, he’s like Mikey, he’ll eat anything.

I wanted so bad to refrain from a bad review, but now I just cannot. I order from this location 3-4 times a month for almost 1 year now. I live in Oakhurst under 2 miles from this location, they always delivered to my house, but recently (new manager) said they shouldn’t be delivering and they cannot anymore...that they stop at Ravenwood, which Ravenwood is past my house. The manager was rude and this is not how you treat a customer who gives you so much business. When we call the people answering the phone want to deliver, but the manager says no, like I said, we get 3-4 deliveries a month the past year and less than 2 miles away. We are really upset by the lack of customer service here. Supporting Kingwood/Porter Businesses is important to me, but they must support us too.

First off I LOVE jimmy johns. I preach the jimmy johns gospel to everyone I meet. Not anymore. I placed my 4th or 5th order at this location and didn’t receive it until well after 30 minutes later. I live half Of a mile away. I called the store while waiting and they said the driver was on the way nothing they can do. Then my order does show up, Ice melted in my drink and the order was wrong!!! I call and the guy at the desk argued with me!!! He said I had the Vito with turkey while I ordered the normal Vito. It was just a turkey sandwhich! By the looks of it the #4 which is not the #5 I ordered. Then had a terrible attitude with me and said he remembers making it. I will never spend another dollar at this location. Got the bootlegger club as I usually do. I purchased the largest one this time to share with my son. Got home to a sandwich with about 3 pieces of meat on it. Had to add some of my own turkey to the sandwich. This is the first and last time this has happened for me at the particular jimmy johns. Response to the owner: No I won't be trying anything from this specific location at all. As I stated on my initial review. I have purched this same sub before from this location with no issues on meat portions. I do also have eyes to see that the meat is cut in a consistent manner. To put 3 thin pieces of meat on a sub and then state it is placed by weight is ridiculous. You'll have to come up with a better excuse.

I ordered from here once threw DoorDash to receive a call just 5 minutes later informing there driver would take atleast 40+ minutes before they would make it back to the store. The store was also closing in 10 minutes, no big deal, so I was asked if I’d like to void the order and have my money refunded to me. I know what it’s like to work a minimal job, we were all young once. However, the next day I woke up to not only a charge for the food but a charge for a tip to deliver the food, that was never even made. I was told threw door dash it was too late for a refund. 25 bucks ain’t that big of a deal to me, but I don’t like having my money stolen from me. For that I’d rate this place 0 stars if I could

Well, I just stop for a sandwich , I paid over $8.00 for new chicken sandwich, wich by the way was so different from their picture which looks chunky but the one I got was chicken paste mix with may. Well, It was a waste of money. But, what bothers me really is that I was ignored, I stood up on the patiently for 10 minutes for them to help the next customer. Someone walk in, She pays and She walks to her order with me still standing by and I am not a short man, I am 5’6”. Well, I said and She replies , Can I help You? I said Where is my Sandwich? Oh, is coming. I said You forgot I was standing here waiting. By the way this is the same woman Who took my money.

As usual the food ingredients are good quality but they're are so focused on spending up the process that they don't take the time get the order correct. Feels rushed. The first time I was there I was turned away because of a shortage of bread. Really? Bread at a sandwich shop? The second time I was rushed through the ordering process. The third time was today. It was as if asking for the sandwich to be customized brought the whole operation to a halt. Eventually I didn't add anything else to my sandwich so as not to hold them up anymore. I work and live in and around Kingwood and spend my lunch dollars in this area every day. Not sure about here though.

Ordered 3 subs to go. 2 were wrong. One was missing bacon, the other was supposed to have avocado and had a smear of what looked like “ a smear of guac” . Called to tell them the orders were wrong, she asked if i wanted to return to the store. No thank you I’m already home. And when she asked if i wanted a “credit for the store “ she wasn’t even sure how to make that happen ....” i would need to void your order and recharge you again” what back asswards way is that? No thanks we just won’t be returning to this store. Too many other places to pick from that get your order right the first time.

I usually love Jimmy John's but this location didn't exactly wow me. The staff was friendly-ish. They certainly weren't going out of their way to smile. They had none of the day old bread to buy which I was really bummed about, though I suppose that can't be helped. The bread on our sandwiches seemed almost stale, not like the bread I'm used to on JJ sandwiches. And the service was quick like usual but just not what I expect from JJ restaurants I've been to before. I won't come to this location again.

This location is awful. Doesn’t matter if it’s delivery or pick up, I’ve had problems. Delivery takes over an hour, and half the time my order is wrong. Pickup isn’t any better; my sandwich is usually wrong, or the order is missing something like chips or even a drink, and the employees seem irritated when I say something is missing. This location is poorly managed. After giving this location chance after chance, I’m giving up. Seems like this is just the way they are going to do business, and refuse to try to fix the issues. Highly disappointing.

We placed a delivery order for a work/lunch meeting, as we often do. Order took 45 minutes to arrive. ALL the orders were wrong. Everyone got the same sandwich, but we each ordered different sandwiches, breads, no bread, etc. The only thing they got right were the chips! One person has dairy/gluten allergies and could not eat her lunch at all. I am certain we won't be placing lunch ordering from this store again for our office meetings. Just awful.

I ordered online for my family. When I arrived all the employees were on their phones & I had to ask for help. When I picked up the order the sandwiches were not marked & they forgot to include chips and a drink. Food was fine service was beyond terrible. Even after I returned to find they had not included the whole order they said "you can go ahead and get it" like it was a favor to give me what I paid for. No apology, no offered to do it themselves. Will not be returning.

They are rude !!! I read other reviews. Restrooms are clean as well as the whole place..Can't wait til they open up in the Kingwood Town Center!! I will be going back to try other Sandwiches!!! No more Subway ever!! My Husband and I visited this Jimmy John's location for the first time and were blown away by the wonderful ladies working there. We just left, and I couldn't wait to get in the car to talk about them! Smiling faces, exceptional customer service, and warm personalities. We'll be back just because of them. Hope the sandwiches taste as great as our experience.

Nope not happening again. Constantly getting our sandwiches wrong. Forgetting sandwiches. And when you call them. Can you say ATTITUDE! They are in the business of customer service and theirs suck. Asked for a refund because I didn't get my sandwich. And couldn't even get a refund. Someone else got a refund but it wasn't me. And somehow this is my fault.

Maybe i'm biased because I've typically ordered from JJ's in Austin, DC, and Phoenix, but this by far is the slowest Jimmy John's i've ever been to. I've never stood over 10 minutes waiting for 2 simple sandwiches with literally no one else in front of me. It's a shame, does injustice to the JJ culture. Defeats the whole purpose, Not coming back.

They get a single start due to the kindness of the employees to the customers. My order was nowhere NEAR correct. I went there because the OTHER Jimmy John's in Spring is fast and always gets it right. My bread was wrong. The specifics I asked for were but in my sandwich. The sandwich did not come with tomatoes, but was loaded with them.

This location is the worst. How hard is it to read the ticket and make a sandwich the right way? Didn't want tomatoes, got tomatoes. Wanted pickles, didn't get pickles. Paid extra for avocado, didn't get avocado. Oil & vinegar? Nope. Absolutely pathetic. There is no point being fast if you have a low quality outcome.

Freaky slow! I ordered online, showed up 20 MINUTES LATER, and they hadn’t even started yet. There were 3 customers in the store. Lesson: if you order for take out, they need 30 minutes to prepare (and that’s if the place is empty).

I absolutely love Jimmy John's BUT this particular location has sloths working there. And I've given this location 3 chances and still the employees move slower than my 85yr old grandma and they always mess up someone's order, whether it be mine or someone ahead of me.

I wanted a pick up an hour earlier than the store opened and Thomas was very nice in accommodating my request today 5/31/19. This is a classic example of exceptional customer service and this gentleman is an asset to this store and Jimmy John's brand...well done …

What can I say? A cold cut sub that disappeared before I was finished. That's impressive. Meat in every bite from every side. And the potato chips ain't bad either. Oh, and they do get the product out fast.

the last 2 times I stopped at this location, they have messed up my sandwich either putting something on that I didn't want (mayo) or leaving something off that I paid extra for (avocado)... read the ticket and check before wrapping up the sandwich

Well for the price can you give me a decent amount of meat and cheese! I'm not a rabbit for God sake! I'm also not a twig boy.... any way the staff are nice and the lobby was clean. The order taking phone right next to our table was annoying.

Fantastic sandwiches, friendly staff, fast service. Lots of meat, fresh toppings, great flavor. Their 9 grain bread is well above average, much better than the competitor, who probably suffers from length and girth envy.

Very unhappy sandwich maker. Clearly does not like his job. Got the order wrong although the guy taking the order who was pleasant and attentive repeated it back several times. Food was ok.
