Despite being outnumbered by customers at the registers and another two trying on shoes, the two ladies didn't hesitate to give us a quick greeting and promptly came over in few minutes to see if they could be of assistance. They regularly checked in on my friend and I and both staff made an effort to focus all their attention on us which I noticed them multitasking between customers and their work phone. We were very kindly given our sizing from new boxes multiple times, listened to our wants and needs, gave us feedback and their experienced advice and respectfully left us alone as needed. Mary took her customer service above and beyond when she left the store to grab my friend a particular shoe size and promptly came back after several minutes. The other lady (whose name I was unable to catch - I apologise) made sure that we had the store floor to ourselves and continued cleaning around us and took out the rubbish by exiting behind the register rather than the service floor. Mary continued to service my friend and I and gave true advice in the interests of the customers and applied heel gels to help with my sizing. She also educated me at the time of purchase on how to look after my shoes. In the one hour we had unintentionally spent there, there was not one moment I felt the staff feeling burdened by us and I have never been more blown away by their customer service. As a first time Jo Mercer customer, I will most definitely return soon.

Shocking experience at Chatswood store. I bought two pairs of shoes in different sizes before Christmas as a present. Tried to return another pair straight after Christmas closures and a big lady with tattooed arms (probably Mary, she covered her badge) refused to take the shoes back saying they've been worn. It's insane, she is lying about buffed sole and everyone can see that the sole is new (attached the photo). I returned the shoes in another store and everyone apologized but this is inappropriate service. I had to travel 100km one way to the nearest store, then to another store with professional and polite staff. The company should be more careful when hiring staff and I don't recommend customers to go to this store until Jo Mercer find professionals.

I was passing by Joan Mercer last weekend in Westfield Chatswood . I was greeted by a lovely young lady who helped me choose some boots . Her name was Rose and she went over and beyond to assist me . I did purchase a beautiful beige pair of boots. Highly recommend a trip to Joan Mercer westfield Chatswood. Be sure to have Rose assist you . I can guarantee you will blown away with such personal service . Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Received excellent customer service earlier this week. I was planning on just ordering the shoes online, as they had sold out of my size in store. Rose kindly checked for stock in other stores and ordered them for me for home delivery.

Amazing customer service. They are so customer oriented and very committed to helping you find the shoes best for you. I’ve never had such great customer service in a shoe store before! They are so caring. Really 10/10 staff.
