I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Johnno's Pool & Spa Services, and I must express my extreme dissatisfaction with their service. My encounter with this company was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my frustrating experience with others. Initially, we were quoted a reasonable sum of $700 for a job to move our pool pumps. We provided the owner with pictures of our yard and the pool pump in question, and he assured us that it would likely take a day or, at most, two days to complete the task. Based on this information, we went ahead and booked the service, feeling confident that we were making the right choice. However, the situation took a drastic turn for the worse when the plumber arrived on the scheduled day. To our shock and dismay, he informed us that he had only been booked for a 2-hour job and that moving the pumps would now cost us over $3000! This exorbitant price hike was a clear violation of the original quote provided by the owner, and it left us feeling cheated and deceived. To make matters worse, the owner had given us incorrect information about the pool pump relocation, which resulted in us pouring concrete incorrectly. Now, we are left with the burden of rectifying this costly mistake entirely at our own expense. This level of incompetence and misinformation is unacceptable and unprofessional. As if these problems weren't enough, our experience with Johnno's Pool & Spa Services took another frustrating turn when two tradies arrived to complete the pool pump relocation, only to inform us that the plumber had quit on the spot. They were left scrambling to find another plumber to finish the job, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience. Additionally, we repeatedly requested that the company notify us in advance before sending their personnel over so that we could secure our dogs. However, they consistently ignored this simple and reasonable request, demonstrating a complete lack of consideration for their customers' needs and concerns. To top it all off, the owner himself proved to be one of the worst people to deal with throughout this ordeal. His lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability has left a lasting impression of disappointment and frustration. In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering using Johnno's Pool & Spa Services to think twice and explore alternative options. My experience with this company was marred by miscommunication, exorbitant pricing, unprofessional conduct, and a complete disregard for customer needs. It is clear that their service falls far short of the standards one should expect from a reputable business, and I am left deeply dissatisfied with my interactions with them.

Asked that company to check why our spa wasn’t working. Got told by them I needed a new pump. I agreed to go ahead with the job. Got told after a few days after a no show that the pump was on back order and that they might have another one but needed to check that it fits. I think there was a new owner taking over the business during that time. Took a while to find a time. New guy came, checked and said that the pump wouldn’t fit. He left and didn’t tell us anything else. Didn’t hear from them so got another company to have a look. They check the error code on screen and fixed the issue in half an hour. Saved a few hundred dollars. Disappointing that it could have been fixed quickly and that I was about to pay a lot more than needed. I understand the timing was not great with new owner taking over but he could have told us what was happening next and to keep in touch.

Originally had Johnno out to help with pool set up as having problems . New , filter and pump and it was working fine , he was very helpful , booked for a cleaning service and to look at another small problem but new owner had taken over After 5 visits and changing system, pool was completely messed up . Told we needed new Salt chlorinater ,and hasn’t worked properly since. We did not put in a new system as wanted to wait and check first. We are now in process with another company as seems we only need a new cell Very disappointed as Johnno was great Won’t return

Johnno has helped me out twice now - discovered a problem others couldnt locate and fixed perfectly! Helped to upgrade filter with no fuss, on time and always a happy chap! Excellent business to deal with ! Thanks Johnno -see you when I add the spa!!!

Great retail Pool Shop, friendly, knowledgeable staff, easy parking, and free water tests. Very happy to spend the time to fully explain your water, chemistry and help you understand the maintenance involved rather than just trying to sell you stuff.

Local pool shop quoted to replace pool heater and pump at over $5000. Jonno found it was just a faulty ignition switch and the pump needed new bearings, saved me a fortune and its running perfectly. Great service
