"I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE OR BRAND TO ANYONE I KNOW" It has been nothing but a nighmare to deal with the company & the store. Until you place the order, the store is so sweet & willing to help you & the moment order is placed, there is nothing but goof-ups! I regret my purchase from this store. 1. My order was placed for apprx. $8000 in one shot on a confirmation that stock is available. 2. The store calls me 1 day before the delivery to inform that they dont have the fresh stock & gave me parcel new & parcel floor stock. 3. The agent RAM promised all will be written in a email before delivery & he literally vanished for the scenario & poor Edward from the store had to handle the mess what RAM made. This sales guy (RAM) is so unprofessional. 4. I get the email confirmation after the truck waiting at my door for 30 mins to drop the order. 5. After opening the box for bed - it was delivered with incorrect bolts so i cannot assemble the bed now until someone from their warranty team visits my place. 6. Last night i opened the package for the buffet table & it has scratches, dents & paint wearing off it. If you look at it you will feel as if they have wrapped the floor stock & sent to us instead of the brand new one. 7. My 3 seater sofa was also delivered with broken zip. Now i have furniture lying in my entire house - half boxed & half open condition until they send their warranty team on Friday which also has no guarantee that he will fix all this the same day & my constant job is to keep my 22 month old away from it as it can be dangerous. I don't understand how can all the brand new products store claims to deliver to us have nothing but issues? I feel betrayed & cheated. I hate the fact that i spent my hard earned money ($8000) at this store to get this in return. It has been such a inconvenience & disappointment to deal with this mess.

I recently moved home and was needing to purchase a range of different pieces to make my house complete. I had heard about this place through a friend and thought I would check it out. My first experience of this was store was great! I was welcomed by a guy named David who was really helpful and went over and above his requirements to help me get the best value for my budget. He showed me a whole range of furniture while being mindful of how much money I could spend. In the end, I was extremely satisfied with my deal! Moving out was really stressful but I feel like the help I received from David really helped reduce that stress. Not only did I receive quality furniture at bargain prices, but I was also greeted with awesome customer service (something I feel is DEFINITELY lacking in other stores). I would definitely recommend this store to anyone wanting good quality furniture.

We purchased furniture from Johnny’s- for which we were asked to pay for full in advance. They never suggested holding up prices included. There’s no mention of refund/replacements anywhere on invoice as well as webpage. They never got stock physically available in store until very late. I came to know about all this fuss when i asked to remove something from the order due to unforeseen circumstances. All of a sudden, they had storage charges( for a warehouse that too when they never physically had items available). Alternatively, they have given a store credit instead of a Refund which is of no use to me now. Guess someone’s answerable to consumer’s. Customer service is beyond poor, unprofessional. Staff would keep on staring at computer instead of approaching customers. I would not recommend Johnny’s unless you make everything clear and get it in writing.

Very disappointing. Problem after problem and they are only getting worse. First I bought a lounge and they said they had it in stock, was meant to be delivered the weekend after I bought it but there was a problem with stock levels. I was told 2-3 weeks.. 7 weeks later I got the couch. Unboxed it and can't assemble one of the couches because one of the screw bits is blocked with what looks like a broken off drill bit. So now I have a 3 seater sitting in the middle of my lounge ( the main walk way through the house when guests come over) half boxed. Not only does it detract from the look of the house but we have limited seating. Over a week and a half I've been trying to get a result and no action. Oh and I almost forgot the arm on the single seater is broken, straight out of the box.. broken. Unreal. Avoid this place.

To say my experience was amazing would be an understatement! The staff in store were absolutely amazing. They went over and beyond to not only meet but exceed my expectations and standards. The delivery service they used was also a stand out mob. On the day of delivery it was raining and the driver and his jockey made an extra effort to put down cardboard as to not make a mess on my carpet. They also done an amazing job of dodging our Christmas decorations all over the house. Last but certainly not least the product, the couches we bought (four) are amazing and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone after amazing value for money and good old fashioned quality service to check this place out!!!! Thank you once again to the team at Johnny’s.

Was lookin for bed and sofa set visited fantastic furniture first but was disappointed to hear delivery time frame 10-12weeks plus their staff was kinda rude. Rang Johnny's Derrimut had chat with Emma there she was very polite and was willing to help us out. Emma requested us to visit their store and was blown away with their elegant bed and sofa designs. Plus Emma assured us delivery within 2days. The whole experience at Johnny's furniture was very pleasant. Emma helped us out in no time to find the right bed and sofa set for us. Very impressed with the staff service and also the elegant quality of their furniture. Very happy customer. Strongly recommend to visit the store. 10/10 service n 5stars. Will shop there again soon.

Would definitely not recommend this store. Chatted over a L shape sofa and was told floor stock was for sale and it was an x display. We travelled with the kids over 40 mins to get it only to be told that the sofa was damaged and ripped from a particular section. In this Covid situation where each travel is measured carefully, this was an unfair travel. They need to be more transparent and honest when someone is enquiring for a particular. Hiding and withholding information is dishonest. Advertising floor stock does not come with a hidden description. Many stores sell Floor stock but at least they are honest with faults and damage.

As per Jazz's review, this is exactly what I experienced. Purchased a lounge suite in June, to be told delivery October, which I thought Wow! That's a long time. No worries, was prepared to wait. Then an email, pushing it back a month, November. I went in to the Store 21st Oct. Danielle, The Manager explained delay to mid December as supplier is in Shanghai and that a Tsunami in Aug-Sept caused delay. Recieved another email yesterday, 24th November 2023 advising another push back to January 2024! Needless to say I went in to the Store today and cancelled my order. Seriously people do yourself a favour and look elsewhere!

I have moved into a new apartment and bought the furniture from this store. Got the best bargain I could get from these guys. Quality and price just excellent. I highly recommend to come down to their store and have a look as their stock is always changing. Good furniture and great prices. Store person named RAM was very friendly, understood what our interests and needs are, explained us everything and he walked us around the shop. Thanks for the good service and the fast delivery of the goods to my new place.

I wouldn't bother with this place. We went 3 weeks ago and although they advertise that they have outdoor furniture, there wasn't one piece on the floor. We were told there would be new stock coming in. So we had a return visit about 2 weeks later and there were 2 sets of outdoor seating which both were virtually identical. That's it and both were mediocre at best! Their selection is very very limited. There's a reason why they are a discount warehouse. Pay peanuts, get monkeys.

Excellent service, products and delivery!! Purchased a dining table, bench, hallway table and a sofa. The manager, Danielle was of great help in selecting the right ones and gave an amazing discount. Managing delivery time was also very easy. Delivery guys were the sweetest by helping move the old couch elsewhere in the house and then bring in the new one. Big thanks to Will and Andy for the help. Overall great experience and love the quality products. Highly recommend!!

Recently bought a Barkley lounge from JF Derrimut. There was an initial issue with delivery companies however Jake stepped up to the mark and sorted the problem for us which we greatly appreciated. We would be happy to deal with them again. (BTW for future Barkley lounge buyers, we had to drill and affix the legs to the sofa ourselves which we did not expect to have to do at this price point - not JFD fault but needed to mention this so you know before u buy).

Very poor after-sales service & even worse they are DISHONEST. They responded to my warranty claim with every excuse in the book and after being proven wrong over and over they resorted to straight up lying (screenshots attached). I guess they were hoping I didn't have any record of the delivery date. The sofa was rubbish and came with a tear, definitely avoid this place. EDIT 17.08.2020: The below response is BS; I emailed him and he just ignored me.

I brought a couch from Johnny once it was 6 months old the couch began to sink and fabric was wearing. After contacting Johnnys as it was still in warranty I was told this is normal wear and tear and not to sit on that side of the couch. After paying $1700 I’m now left with a faulty couch and out of pocket. I would not advise Everyone to buy from this company as it is cheap for a reason.

A great place to buy furniture for home. They have all sort of home furniture such as couch, bed, dining table and chairs. High quality items at the cheapest price ever. Lot of special offers and they do provide home delivery through 3rd party transport service provider. I am very happy with the customer service and quality and pricing of the products.

Had a faulty TV unit and Corey (from Head Office) has not responded to emails and we cannot get a hold of him. The unit is literally coming apart (and is only there for show) after only having for a year. You're better off going to a retailer who can assist with faulty items. In these instances paying more is worth it if it means you can fix issues!!

Couch broke exactly six weeks to the day after we bought it. Incessant spam via text and email despite unsubscribing, which I thought was illegal, but I guess I'm wrong about that. But it's okay because each text and email just makes us all the more determined to never buy anything from Johnny's ever again. So thanks for the reminder, I guess.

In store was terrific - thank you to Jake for being so helpful and patient with my indecisiveness. Unfortunately, the quality of the couch we purchased is questionable and the after sales help from the head office is disappointing to say the least. Have sent several emails with either little to no response.

We brought the winston king bed frame yesterday from Derrimut, we were served by Emma & Samuel and they were amazing with their customer service and had the most patience while we decided on what we wanted. Be wary of their products. They will take advance and will promise to deliver in two months. You will lucky to get delivery in six months. Lot of customers are facing this issue. They will keep pushing date citing supplier issue. Go to some other store if you want your couch in two months.

We bought a couch from here last here, quality of the couch is amazing and price was even better. Danielle organised the sale and was super friendly. Delivery through big box movers were also really great, they stuck to their scheduled time and were very friendly and helpful!

This place has amazing furniture selections. Their price is very very competitive and you wont get this anywhere else. Another thing worth noting is the staff. They are really friendly and accomodating. Bought a coffee table and ottoman bed here. Might go again for the sofas.

We bought this from Derimut, and it's absolute luxurious thing. It's looking amazing and love the recliner as well. This one is quite comfy and don't forget to buy the fabric protection plan as well if you have small kids at home so you're safe as always:)

The furniture i purchased was fine except for a few issues i had with the type of delivery i paid for. After many conversations with shop staff, i was offered an apology and given a 5 yr warranty for stains, rips etc to couch and a cleaning kit.
