Over the years customer service has continually declined unfortunately. Not even a simple "hello", "thank you" or smile at the cash register. I'm unsure if staff hate their job or the customers but I can always guarantee it'll be an unpleasant experience when I choose to shop locally instead of Bunnings.

To be honest , I live pretty much equal distance from Mitre 10 and the other mob . But I chose Mitre 10 every time , the staff are friendly and very helpful. Also its a dog friendly place , which means Rocco my boxer can come in and say hello instead of having to wait in the ute .. so 5 stars from me .

We are so lucky to have Mitre 10 in our neighborhood. The staff are always so polite and knowledgeable. I called the store to ask about some tools and products that we needed and the staff got everything ready and were so helpful. Excellent customer service. I rang about a ceiling fan and told them what size it was they checked their stock and said yes we had them in store. When I arrived very friendly staff, they measured the old fan too the new 1 and said it would fit no problem. Better than bunnings. Great value …

Adam was very helpful and went out of his way to assist me with a flat pack pantry that I bought, somehow squeezing it into my small sedan. Every worker gave me excellent information and assistance. Will return to this mitre ten even though I don’t live very close, just for the helpful team!

Always friendly and practical advice from knowledgeable staff. Julie gave me excellent tips on removing paint from tiles and Zac who delivered my outdoor furniture was especially helpful explaining how to assemble the flat pack.Prefer to buy my hardware needs here than anywhere else.

One of the few suppliers of the fantastic Soudal sealant this side of town! However it's very disappointing they don't have a panel saw. You'll have to go elsewhere to have sheets of timber cut to size. Customer service is hit and miss. Some staff moody.

Quite disappointed. I did click and collect and it took 3 days for my item to arrive. When I was in the queue to collect the assistant is helping a lady browse and buy plants, then he ran inside to get individual items of the shelf for her.

I visited the Mitre 10 at Niddrie timber section.Thw customer service provided by the sales assistant was fantastic. Went out of the way to get what I needed and also got the timber cut.
