Absolute worst customer experience I have ever had! I don't normally shop here on a regular basis and after today I won’t step foot back into this store or spend another dime here. I went to do a quick exchange on unopened hosiery for my future mother in law. After the original purchase when we got home and checked the weight on the back we realized it was the wrong size. Again this package was not opened. The lady greeted me when I walked in the door and I let her know I just needed to do an exchange because it’s the wrong size. She told me she would not do the return because it was hosiery. I let her know it was unopened and she could clearly see the seal had not been broken but she refused again. She told me that they tell every customer when they make those purchases yet both my fiancé and I were not told this at the time of purchase. I’m assuming it was the manager that came out of the office and said to do it the exchange as a one time courtesy since they were unopened. I swapped out for the size I needed but noticed they had multiple packs of hosiery opened and hanging out on the racks as well. I went back up to the counter and laid down the correct size. I thanked the lady for doing it as a courtesy since it was for my wedding this weekend and then another employee chimed in saying well we aren’t doing it again for you to which I then responded that’s fine I won’t be coming back. Just unnecessarily rude and extra after I had thanked them for doing an exchange on an unopened product. Receipt clearly says they don’t do returns or exchanges on opened or worn products but nothing specific about hosiery. K&G your employees need some training in professional customer service because this isn’t it.

What a disaster. I took my son to find a suit for an upcoming Wedding. They had a marquee stating 2 for $150. Calvin Kline suits. I thought it was to good to be true. The suit was labeled at $119. I said get two for $150. They had to be altered hem the paints and adjust the waist and coat. $75 alteration charge. A little bit pricey. They said they would be ready in 5 days and charged a rush surcharge to be ready on Friday the day before the wedding. Of course when you get a new suit you get the accessories two new shirts, ties, belts etc. Upon checking out we were informed the suits were $169 each plus the accessories and alteration. I stated the marquee read 2 for $150. The clerk said that the sale had expired. My son said dad forget it. I had already spent 4 hours of my Sunday there and it was a quest. I paid the $681. And promised the suit on Friday. My son lives an hour away came back to pick them up to find out they wouldn't be ready. I complained and finally at 9pm they had one suit ready. It wasn't fitted correctly and we still don't have the second suit. I will not be going back to K&G, I Guarantee It. Poor quality, poor service, dishonest advertising and rude cashiers. Be fore warned before you go there. The king of bait and switch, they make the car industry look honest.

Let me start by saying, I will never be back. There is a staff member there that is EXTREMELY rude. Before entering the store, I checked to make sure masks weren’t not mandatory, as I do in every store. There was no signs. I proceeded to go in and was asked by the cashier if I had my mask. I stated no, it was in my car. She told me they were in Marion county and it was still mandated at that location. (Marion county lifted the mask mandate as of June 6th, it is now June 11th.) I was starting to ask her if they had a disposable one that I can use but as I turned around, the same associate then started getting hateful telling me I could not have my drink in there. (I looked on the doors, there was nothing posted stating this). I didn’t even think twice about my drink, I also had a lid and straw on my cup, so it wasn’t like I was going to even have to open my lid to drink it. I am all for companies asking customers to wear their masks to keep their associates safe. I would have gladly walked out to my car to grab my mask (if they didn’t have a disposable one available) and put my drink back in there while I got what I needed. But what I will not tolerate is being talked to the way I was being talked to.

Seemed like an upscale version of t.j max. Went to go look for some suits to try on and get measured. Finally found someone to help me but she was a little hard to understand due to the fact that she had a mouth full of cheetos. I didn't find a suit to my liking. So I went to the casual side. Nice selection of clothes, just not where they were supposed to be at. Majority of the clothes I found were mostly in the smaller section. I felt like I wasted an hour of my life looking for clothes that was in another section. The checkout line was backwards. I seen multiple people squeezing past each other with carts trying to get to the cashier that other patrons were leaving. Also this place is good enough to take your money but not let you use their bathroom. Apparently they have"plumbing issues" which is totally false. So i guess the employees can't use the bathroom while at work. According to an employee at a nearby store, they don't want people going through the back of their store or have the personnel to keep it up. Frustrating as h-ll!

The cashier THERMAL committed PERJURY by signing my signature with her own hands and lied about it. When I got up to the counter, she requested my phone number, full name and Zipcode and started signing me up for the awards program. I asked her not too and that I only want to buy suits for today and that's it. She said she had to get the information for a return which I wasn't returning anything so I don't know why she would need that information right now. I was explaining all this to my wife and then I see Thermal's hands reach over the counter and sign a signature on the credit card machine. I asked her what it was for and who was supposed to sign it? She said "anyone can sign it". Lady, I'm not 12 years old. That was supposed to be my signature agreeing to the privacy policy and return policy which clearly she already violated. What she did today was not just her lying and being rude, it was a CRIME. I will need to talk to the store owner no later than 3 business days. Reply back with your email and phone number.

I also agree with the previous review. Today, I was at the store to exchange or get in store credit for a men's suit which I didn't have a receipt. Once we enter to store along with my family we noticed the same attitude of a person tired and felt she didn't want to be working at the store. The person didn't either gave us credit or exchange. I ask if a manager could help us. Oops! She was the manager Jennifer, or at least the name she gave to us. What poor customer service of her and a very narrow vision on how to treat a customer and make customers welcome back again for future sales. We like definite like to shop for men's suits but I would look for other options for now on along with my family, friends and Hispanic community. Hopefully, someone in corporate can review how this store is doing business in the community before is to late and the store goes out of business because how they treat customers.

Wow! What happened to this place? Use to be good. Before I even got to work with someone, noticed girl behind the counter looking like she didn't want to work there. Didn't acknowledge anyone in line, pretended she was doing something, moped around at an incredibly slow pace. Attitude for days! In addition, brought a concern to management regarding wrong sized suits and instead of coming up with a solution, they lost a client who had purchased at least 10 suits in the last year. Maybe they could have helped me find the same suit and asked me to purchase the right size matching items? That would have been acceptable. They didn't want to be bothered. Do not go here! Burlington is in the same parking lot, and it's a better experience. STAY AWAY from K&G, unless of course you want a ghetto experience. I usually write positive reviews, but had to throw this one in to get the word out.

Love this store when I first visited Jennifer the store manager sent her best employee Fe-fe to help with clothes but I just went in today 9/28 to take back a dress i wore one time to be sewed and I have a year 1/2 old child instead of offering to fix it since I only wore it once they wanted me to pay $10 for a dress i only payed $20 for to be sewed.. I get in line with 2 registers open!!! Wait 20 minutes in line!! my 1yr old pooped her diaper and I went to the front of the line and ask can you please check me out and told her the situation she wouldn't help me and told me I would need to go to the back of the line!! She was very unprofessional with me!! I Love The Clothes are very cute and inexpensive BUT I Will Not Be Back!! Good Paying Customers Dont Deserve to be Treated Like This!!!!

I personally had a great experience. John helped measure me and took his time to show me a handful of suits before I finally decided on purchasing two. I also bought a white undershirt and I have to tell you what. In my two years of being a young professional, John sold me the best undershirt I own. He explained to me why he was selling me the specific brand and how in his opinion it was the best one for my body type. The whole experience for me personally was a 10. I highly recommend. Before you go out and spend $500 on two new suits at the competition, come stop in here. They have a large inventory. They have a tailor in the back, which is convenient. I recommend this place highly, and I felt very welcome the entire time.

My rate is more so directed toward the store manager. I hate to say that I do not remember her name. The location is the Castleton store. I had an issue with alterations. Without actually getting anywhere with that dept. Which I was told is a independent contractor not affiliated with K&G. Which is fine. This woman and another woman took my info, asked about my experience, and out of the kindness of her heart refunded some of my money. I can say I really did not expect anything. I was just happy that these ladies took time to assist me and not make me feel as if I paid something for nothing and just go on about my way. She handled this situation professionally. Even if I didn't get a refund I still appreciated the kindness.

They treat people wrong they don't get back with people They don't know a defect on a purchase then someone trying to get over on them I have a defect on a pair of shoes that I wore for like 5 hours the shoes was peeling but the manager says that shoe Polish and shoe Polish don't peel I try to just get a store credit but but they wouldn't give me all my money backThey said the shoes are now worth $29 I had my receiptTo show them I paid $59 for these shoes I still have the shoes I wish someone will reach out and get in touch with me so I can show them that the shoes are pilly I never had a pair of Stacy's peel on me I have several pairsOf Stacy'sAdams they never peeled so I think they are selling Fake Stacy Adams

Went in at noon to purchase a few shirts for work saw an advertised price of buy 1 get 1 50% off. I checked out not paying attention to the total and was told about a text that gives you $5.00 Off your purchase. However the lady at the register told me I could only use it if I got a $5.00 cloths roller, but the ad didn't say that so she was trying to force me to buy something I didn't want. After I paid, I noticed that I didn't get my second shirt at 50%Off. So a manager told me that the sign was old so I can't have the sales price. So needless to say I returned $100.00 worth of cloths and left with nothing because she didn't offer to help at all. Except on my next purchase.

Spent over 2 hours buying suits and getting fitted. The only reason I went to K&G is because they were having a 40% off sell on suits. When i got to the register the price seemed high and it was because the 40% off wasnt applied. The cashier called for a manager and the manager said that my suits were not the ones that were 40% off. Even though the rack i got them from had about 15 (40% off this rack). There wasnt even any kind of trying to make the situation right. It was more of a thats the way it is even though the sign clearly says 40% off. Also because the price tag price ended in .98 instead of .99 the discount didn't apply. They lost a customer today. ***BEWARE***

Apparently the people that USED to work here r no longer. Service used to be great with Michele and William I called ahead the help was horrible wen I was transfered the person answered HELLO and no matter what i asked the reply i rec"d was U CAN COME ANYTIME. Now that I'm here. I have been standing in this sane spot over 10mins with my bright pink tag in my hand and no1 that has walked by me from the back has said 1 word to me. If u look in the TV screen on the wall i am yhe one standing here looking stupid at 7 in the evening they said they close at 9. I guess I'm going elsewhere. Sorry it won't let me attach the pic for whatever reason.

This store has incredible prices for men's dress suits and sport coats. Several designer lines. They carry many dress shirts in uncommon neck/arm lengths. For example, heavier neck but shorter-armed sleeves for guys 5'10". Accessories for women and men are unique. Women's jewelry & purses & hats. Men's hats & caps & socks & ties & belts. Large shoes selection, with many markdowns as they move inventory. Huge selection of women's wear but you have to be prepared to search. You need time to comb through rack after rack after rack. I need petites for shorter lengths, so I feel wistful I can't wear some of their great looking clothes.

Everyone was helpful. From the lady at checkout that greeted us when we walked in, to staff throughout the store - they were all very helpful. Male staff in alteration let me know they can get my sons clothing altered quickly if there was an urgency. Thanks to Phylica(FeFe) and Roslyn who helped pick out an outfit for my son. They answered my questions, went back and forth and found things to match perfectly... I needed their assistance and expertise and got it. Manager was pleasant and was overseeing everything. Ive never shopped at K&G before but Im glad I did this time.

This store will not honor the price displayed. I have had 2 experiences where the sale price was placed on clothing for 14.99 each, when I went to check out I was told the price was 29.99. I was informed, the clerk set up the sale price but did not move the clothes that were not 14.99, they did not honor the price. Tonight it happened again, boots were displayed at 24.99 however, at checkout the price was 49.99. They said a "customer" must have place the shoe in the wrong place, again they did not honor the price. This is my last trip to this store. P.Longino

Well... we went in there to get my fiance and the best man a suit . The lady that helped us was kinda pushy. The jackets fit perfect but the pants were way to big and she wouldn't let us go get a pair of pants from the same brand of suits to go along with the jacket . She was trying to also get us to buy a third suit for the sale and we didn't need a third suit. All in all my fiance (I feel) spent way to much money for two suits, ties , and shirts. She must have gotten a real good comision off of my fiance. Unfortunatly , we will never go back there.

Store manager and staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. I had gone to every other store in the shopping center, without a mask (I’m vaccinated), without incident. I was met at the door by an employee informing me that I could not enter the store without wearing a mask, even though mask have been proven to be completely useless unless it is a kn95 mask or higher filtration. This was on June 1,2021 and I have not had to wear a mask in at least three months anywhere else! Complete idiocy. 15 plus year customer lost!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. Employees are rude and talk to you as if they own the entire store. I go in to buy a suit jacket and the lady at the register doesn’t seem to care about her job. She laughs and giggles and it seems as if she’s on drugs. I then call in to ask a question to see if they have dress shoes in stock and the lady disrespectfully says no and i wanna ask another question but she says “no I don’t have dress shoes thank you” and hangs up. Employees don’t care about you or the business.

service was awful. they made my fiance with two small children give them her diaper bag upon entering the store as if she is going to stuff a suit in an already full diaper bag. when she was ready to leave she had to wait in line with a screaming child to get her bags back. seriously?? You are not a freaking airline service. And the lady was rude on top of that. What has happened to customer service these days? Rediculous. We will not be returning.

OK, first off if you are looking a for a high end shopping experience, this isn't it. If you want that go to Von Maur or some place like that. K&G has a HUGE selection of dress clothes and amazing prices! Honestly Macy's, Von Maur, JCPenny, etc. have all cut their in store selections for mens dress closes to an embarrassing level. K&G had everything I was looking for. They even have a tailor on site. I will definitely be back soon!

You can get awesome deals here, but buy carefully and cautiously. Very little of what they sell is of the same quality as more reputable clothiers - lots of polyester and rayon, little wool and cotton. Also, the customer service here is strange. Almost everyone on the salesfloor is always helpful and friendly, but the cashiers can be terrible. I've been given incorrect information concerning merchandise by cashiers numerous times.

I can only give it 2 stars because we can always find something here and the tailoring works. The lines and the cashiers really hurt the business. We've walked out several times due to the line and have had strange check out experiences with the cashiers. There's no customer service, they're unprofessional, slow, and they add things to your cart that you didn't ask for. I hope management can get this part under control.

Help was no where to be found, dressing rooms co-ed with no one monitoring the entrance, had more than a dozen people in line and only one cashier. The cashier would spend a solid 45 seconds on each item purchased looking at it, placing it gingerly in the bag, ooops forgot to ring it up lets take it back out of the bag, ring it up, another 30-45 seconds putting it back into the bag.

Got my navy suit from here and let me tell you that was the BEST decision I ever made. You will never find such cheap priced suits that are A+ quality. I've never received so many compliments in my life then when I'm wearing this. They had soo many options I thought I was going to leave with the whole story to be honest. The gentleman in the back was fantastic at assisting me in finding the most awesome suit. BUUUUUUUUT the ladies up front on the cash register were absolutely garbage at their job. Enough said. Basic communication was unattainable. Love the store. Props to the dude. Let’s get some self checkouts or some of the Burlington/ tj maxx EX-employees hired.

Instantly treated like a shoplifter just by walking into the store with purchased merchandise from a different store. This immediately ruined my shopping experience and I didn't find what I wanted anyway. No customer service provided as I searched the racks and the first interaction I had was extremely offensive. The Castleton store manager has zero customer service skills nor integrity. Did not own up to store errors. I asked for a pair pants be taken up from 32 inches to 31 inches, a simple ask I pick up the pants they were knee high. The manager wanted to tell me what I had requested. Terrible customer service. I didn't get a fund or store credit.

They have lots of clothing for women. The selection for men however is HUGH and much better. The men and womens dressing rooms are in the same area but separated. They have an on-site alterations staff. The staff is friendly but there's not enough cashiers at the registers so it takes a while to get out. If you plan to go, try going early.

Ok store with some good specials on suits. Got three suits for price of one and they had a surprise discount via text that saved another 50.00. The downside was the long check out. 20 people in line and two people at the counter with walk ins that decided they did not have to wait in line. it took 47 minutes (yes I'm a clock watcher.).

Need A LOT of CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING...Mgmt included. They set poor examples for the cashiers who ACT as if we're bothering them. Jani..in Men's Suits is good ALWAYS cordial and helpful..knows her department and helps with making a final selection for your purchase. She's the reason you atlase get the 2 stars in this review.

This place is crazy!! 2 lines open on a SATURDAY??? 50 mins. In line just for the lady to be rude ?! I Love the clothing but the attitude needs to go! Check the employee's, hire more respectful people, and stop over pricing alterations!! My hard earned money is spent here, and I already drive a long distance to shop here!

I was at the store today and was there a while with my wife looking for a suit. No one ever came to assist me. I am a senior citizen . All the cashiers were behind the register. Only one register was open. There was no need for all to be behind the register and they could have been on the floor helping customers.

I was looking to get some alterations done and was told one price and when I went to check out the front desk staff was rude and made people feel like we were an inconvenience. to boot they wanted to charge me 3 times the price for the alteration

They had a decent selection. I found two suits that were my type. The store in Calumet City, Illinois was better because of the customer service. This location in Indianapolis didn't have anyone to help like the other one and the line was moving eccentrically lethargic. But overall a good experience.

The staff here deserve 5 stars! Extremely helpful! If the store doesn't have the size you need they'll order it from another store. If you're not sure what size suit you wear they'll fit you. Not sure on your shirt size? They got you covered. Need it tailored? Yep, add that to the list.

Not a good visit to this store. Customer service was horrible. Although staff members were in the store, not one person asked if we needed help. I have shopped K&G for years, in a number of states. This store has received the lowest review of them all. I will never return to this store.

Husband had a coupon for a clearance suit/jacket. After finding one in his size on the clearance rack (it was marked down on the tag also) we were told it wasn't clearance and we couldn't use his coupon. We went to Joseph A. Banks and bought a much nicer one. I guess it all worked out.

This store has the actual worst customer service of any store I have ever shopped at. The associates are rude, pushy and unhelpful. Some basic customer service training and friendliness would go a long way. Why take a job in customer service when you clearly can't stand people.

The ladies clothes looked older than a Goodwill. Looking for white blouse, the selection was dingy and few. The Berkshire hosiery are few and the color selection as well. The prices are too high for the quality presented. The store has lost customers due to the above mentioned.

Not at all a good place for good money go somewhere else if you don't you will be returning for a refund. Clothes look good cheaply made and sized wrong . Shoes look and feel like plastic the suit department is maybe the best part of the store. But you must take your time.

I love that this store has an alterations shop in the dressing room. An amazing tailor is difficult to find in these unusual times but her shop is a diamond in the dessert❤. I bring my clothes from home and get them altered too. I highly recommend this store.

Great selection of men's AND women's dressy and business attire. I went in looking specifically for leather suspenders for my son's groomsmen. While I was unsuccessful, my husband and son purchased some really nice suits and dress shirts. Worth a look!

Mrs. Janie is the best sales assistant ever. She got me together. She never gave up when we couldn't find my sizes in the suits I wanted. She just found some that were better. The staff is very nice and helpful. They know their stuff.

Cashier was incompitent. she informed me that K&G did not have an online store, but when i tried to use a coupon she said it was for online only. Based on her terrible attitude, i'd guess she isnt exactly employee of the month anyway.

Food was fresh and great!! I gave a 4 start because my husband wanted a salad with no bacon because he doesn't eat pork we made tht clear and whn we got it home there was bacon on his salad. Customer service was pretty good also.

The lines are pretty long the ladies are friendly but the tailor needs help and the cashiers could use some help very slow there was 40 people in line and 2 cashiers I did save money on my boys suits my advice is go early

Line was long; one if the cashiers clearly had an attitude, or at least that's how her face looked, and she took her sweet time moving as slowly as she could. Last time--I'll pay a little more for a better experience.
