An amazing place that visibly amalgamated aspects of Hinduism and Buddhism. Unfortunately, I could not find an English speaker to get the history of the temple but can relate that the temple has various aspects of Lord Shiva who is reflected as a small boy. He as Nataraja welcomes you all in to the temple at the main entrance and also indicated as a dancing kid on a lotus ! Beer is offered to the lord as an offering here which is very much relatable to Lord Bhairava (an avatar of Lord Shiva) ....

This is a Hindu temple on the way to the Temple Of Literature. I was originally told it was Buddihist but that dancing baby Siva had me thinking differently. So as you approach the Temple Of Literature from the West you will find it.
