I always find myself returning to K-one, even after having tried other karaoke places past and present in Calgary. I find the service prompt and friendly. As well, we've always been able to get a room without a reservation, which you won't be able to do at many other places. It's one of the cleaner places as well and I've been coming here for years; they've definitely kept it up. My only gripe is the song selection, which has definitely decreased due to some past update a few years ago. The microphones sometimes were not charged or working either, but they are usually quick to fix the problem. I've never eaten here, so I can't comment on their food, but I have found the bubble tea-esque drinks pretty decent. They have a tablet system to enter in songs, which may seem hard to use at first, but actually ends up being more efficient than the boxy remote (which is usually in Korean) at the past places I've frequented.

Owner’s attitude is not friendly. They have promotion 50% off but they hid it away and did not tell us any thing about that when we started. We found out after checking out and asked if it still can be applied, the assistant/employee was trying to give us that promotion but she signaled him not to, and gave us the excuse that counter had been closed while their open hours is till 3am (us checking out at 11:30 pm). We can get the support with a much more friendly attitude at many other places but not here. The facilities and service was ok, but only because of the attitude, we won’t come back even though that was our first time here.

Looks to be a management change. Price increases across the board. The drinks are quite expensive, and the soju was watered down. It's hard to find songs on their system as well. There were six of us that night, each paying separately, and after we figured out the total, they rounded to the final price up to the next dollar. I only like going to k one because it's close to home, but I think we'll just end up going to Galaxy Karaoke instead.

This place is fun! Very clean and good equipments. Lot's of choices for songs. The honey citrus tea was really nice. Potato fries are great. One suggestion is please add Vegetarian and Vegan meal options on your menu, currently only potato/yam fries and edamame are plant-base.

This place is terrible, the hallways smell like dirty sewer water. The rooms are tiny and outdated as is their equipment. How they pass inspections is besides me. The staff and management are unacommadating and straight up rude and disrespectful. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

Incredibly accommodating and friendly staff. We brought a group from work in for a goodbye party and more than twice as many people showed up than we’d booked for. The manager and bartender were super cool about opening a second room for us and were totally on top of drinks and food despite how overwhelmed they were. Thank you K-One for the memorable night!

This is one of the good chinese kareoke places in Calgary, the other good one being Lips. There is a good selection of songs. You can even use your wechat account to select songs. The food is alright but not the best. It can also get quite pricey at around $20 to $25 for a few hours of singing on a saturday night. The rooms seem clean and they are cozy.

1st time trying karaoke and it was nice. The service was great inregards too scheduling a room. The karaoke room was old Machine was old And wasn't really working much with the song. In due time they will need to upgrade. Price was affordable for 1 hour of nice time.

Good song list, but lack of a japanese keyboard makes it very frustrating to browse their database. Its a shame, considering that they have the largest japanese songlist ive seen in calgary. Highly suggest adding japanese and korean keyboards to the system.

Great karaoke spot in the northeast, owners are polite and friendly and service is good. Daily specials vary which is nice, overall the venue is very clean and cozy. Edit (one year later). Still an amazing spot. Food has definitely improved, quality is way better and their super attentive. ,10/10 would come back

Mostly Korean/Chinese songs were available on the karaoke tab. Nice staff though, they changed our room on request so we could use YouTube but the karaoke experience was defeated. They really need to diversify their playlist!

You get your own room, mine had three mics in it. One of the mics was much louder than the others. There are also mic covers for your mics which is nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The drinks are extremely overpriced. The peach soju was delicious though it was $29 for one litre (so overpriced!)

If I could Give a zero I would. unfortunately Google maps is rigged just like this karaoke bar. This venue is old run nowha t is old rundown unsanitary and alathical they denied entry to a transperson and made no attempts no attempts to reduce the harm within their facility. Avoid this place at all costs.

Always the go-to place for a bustling atmosphere wether inside or outside the rooms, I usually go on Wednesdays (20$ for 4 hours per person) and although the alcohol price is high, when you’re singing, you don’t usually mind not drinking. There’s darts outside the rooms, also a bar.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The machine is a little confusing to use at first but it's easy once you get going. Missing some classic English karaoke songs but overall a great place for private karaoke with friends!

Karaoke machine quite up to date with recent songs. Food came with a carpet of salt and pepper after reminding them to actually make it. No notion of service. Asked multiple times for a drink that never came. Would not recommend for anyone unless you're only going to sing.

This place have a large Chinese songs library, but the rooms are just a bit too small for us. Not recommended for group of 5 people or more. The meal is a little pricey and it feels like leftover. However you shouldn't expect yourself to be in a restaurant.

First time in calgary , and i love it ! I Went with my girls and it was lit ! Great service and price so cheap !! Lots of popular music , and perfect sound with 4 mics for 1 room ! We dont regret going to this karaoke !! First time but not the last time !!

Place was very clean for a karaoke bar compared to others in Calgary and the rooms were large enough for a bigger party. The staff were so friendly while we were setting up beforehand and loved the experience here. Will definitely be back!

The system is super lacking. Not only lagging. But complete lack of music all together. Searched at least 20 artists that are very well known. Not even a single song by any of them.

Very good karaoke bar with decent food, service staff is nice, price is fair and music is up to date. Karaoke rooms range from 4- 12 people. The karaoke machine is a little confusing but once you figure it out it's very easy to use.

Always a good time here. decent selection of English and Chinese songs. We love ordering their rainbow 6 variety shots and playing with the dice in the leather cups. I think the rooms can be kind of stuffy and humid sometimes.

This place is sweet. Their system works really well, can't complain about their song catalogue. A few songs missing but 95% of them are there. It's so much fun. Rooms could be a little bigger but still had an incredible time

At first we sounded amazing as a group but slowly we sounded like death. This is one of the greats of doing karaoke here because nobody cares how loud you are or how bad you are. The prices were definitely a steal

A partner is apart from us and we wanna have a wonderful night before he leaves. They stated we were drunk without evidence. Bad experience at all, not recommend and will not take it as a choice any more, ever!

Please note - this review is only based on the food/drink, not the karaoke or any other services. I received the wrong order to begin with and the milk tea and fruit tea both tasted absolutely horrific.

Cozy place, the private rooms are quite nice. Establishment was very clean, service was good, dropped a star solely because a lot of songs released in the past couple of years aren't available to sing.

Nice people running it but has an absolutely terrible selection of American/Canadian/British ROCK music. They have Pop but NO Rock. If you want to belt out some classic rock tunes, look elsewhere.

Really good rooms and the rates are great, they can also switch the screen to English as well. Only downside is English songs have a slightly smaller selection if you don't want to do pop songs

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Had a wonderful time with my friends and would definitely go back again. Music selection was fantastic and had songs on it I wasn't expecting!

Fun place! I haven’t been to karaoke in years, so I loved how you get your own room. No waiting around for strangers and the bar is fast and efficient too

Good karaoke place with clean rooms. English song selection is pretty decent, but it's kind of hard to find songs until you get used to the system.

Decent karaoke spot. Private rooms so you can sing to your heart's content with your friends. They just need to update their selection of songs.

I usually visit there, because the price rate is reasonable, and the latest songs can be found in the karaoke, Chinese songs especially.
