Let me start with this, the original experience was amazing. Staff was super kind. However that ends my positive experience with them. I went to exchange the necklace I had bought, same style I just wanted white gold instead of silver. The item I wanted to exchange it for was the exact same price and I was assured by the manager I would get the exact same price I payed for the first one ($100 off). I payed 109.33 to order it and they were unable to give me a receipt. (I didn’t think anything of it, I trusted them). Things drastically changed when I went to pickup my order item. First I’m told by the girl who helped me with my first purchase that they will not be able to honor the price the manager had told me they would. Then when I go to leave they offered me 75 off. I was ready to purchase until they failed to apply my 109.33 to the new necklace. I asked what was going on and was told they can not find this transaction in the system. At this point I decided I had lost trust in them. They then nulled the purchase they had applied to my account without authorization, and I asked for my 109.33 back. I was told they were unable to provide me with a refund because the system won’t allow them too. So after about 15 minutes of me waiting for the girl helping me to try to find out what was going on, she assured me I would get my money back and she would call me the next day. The next day I receive a phone call telling me to expect a check in the mail. I figured all is fine no big deal problem solved. Was I ever wrong. 3 weeks later and no check. No communication. So what would have been an extremely positive review is now a horrible one. If I could give them zero stars I would. Do not shop here, and watch your wallet if you do.

My fiance bought my ring at this location and I will never be going back. First off management is rude and not pleasant to be around. The sales associates are decent and friendly, however I can't say the same for the store manager. I sent my ring in after only having it 4 to 5 months because 2 diamonds fell out. When my ring came back, one diamond they replaced is foggy and darker than the rest and sticks out like sore thumb and I haven't even had it for 6 months yet. It definitley isn't something you want after spending thousands of dollars on. So glad I bought my fiance's band somewhere else. Also BUYER BEWARE because they are a deceitful store, this specific location, not sure about others, but they are deceitful. My fiance bought my ring and put down a certain amount of money to qualify for 0%APR for a year. Well low and behold a few months after buying my ring the finance company they partner with was changed and started charging him interest after 3 months. When he went to the store to talk to the manager her only solution was to 1. Return the ring 2. Then put down MORE money to qualify for a different promotion for 0% APR, and repurchase at higher cost. But first she said we would have to contact the banker THEY CONTRACTED US WITH and find out which contract we were put on with the new comapny, regardless of the fact we were under a prexisting contract, and then go back to her and go through the buying process all over again. If I could talk my fiance into returning my ring I would, but once it's paid off I will be getting rid of it and going to Diamonds Direct which has far better quality and customization, their insurance is free and doesn't cost extra, and they aren't shady and rude and unhelpful.

I brought my Kay old ring to trade in and purchased an expensive ring with Lisa, she was very nice and helpful at La Cantera. When I picked up my ring after 2 weeks waiting sizing it, the first night the ring cut me at my middle finger. At the following day I took it back to the store and ask for exchange. There was a young lady reacted rude to me and say that " you are not supposed to wear jewelry to go to sleep ". Wait a minute, you’re not teaching me how yo where it? this is my ring, I bought an expensive so I can wear it whenever I want". Then she started helping me choosing another ring but while helping me, she kept dropping off rings and I have noticed she was mad at me and really uncooperative. Omg I was so wrong to come here to buy my dream ring. Then the manager came and helped me out. I just chose another one and wished leave the store as soon as I can. But in my mind that I'm not happy with a form either the look with my new ring when I wear it, It's still loosing even after sizing it. It doesn't look as sparkles as I thought. The diamond has its certificate but The look doesn't show that expensive. I decided to ask for refund. I'm sad and disappointed. My fiancé feels bad for this. But I would be feel better return it than keep it that I'm totally not in love with it at all. I'm so regret with my purchase. Expensive ring, nice store but cheap service.

We purchased a ring in January of 2020. Within the year we have had to take in the ring 4 times, each time because the same diamond kept falling out. It was serviced by a different employee each time but always ended with the same result, the diamond falling out again. We even tried going to a different location with hopes of better service, but was told we needed to stay at the location where we purchased the ring. After the diamond fell out for the fourth time we asked the company what they can do for us; our only option was to get another ring of the same quality (which would probably have the diamond fall out again) or to pay more than our original price. We decided to have the ring serviced one more time and we were greatly disappointed. This time our ring was returned to us and we noticed they melted the metal around the diamonds. We expected the best customer service, but the quality of my ring has now diminished.

There were four ladies working and three of them were helping one person. None of them greeted me when I came to pick up my ring. One lady finally asked if I had been helped yet after awkwardly standing there for about 10mins. It of course was the one that had just finished with another customer. The same three ladies ignoring me behind the counter continued to do so. When I told the lady that was helping me that my ring didn’t feel right since the prongs were rough around the edge she basically dismissed me. So I told her can I just have my ring back. So I will just see them back in a couple months when the same two diamonds fall out. I am so over this place and the lack of customer service. Is there even some training they go through?… If so they all need to be retrained on customer service at minimum.

Customer service is subpar! I would rather buy jewelry from local company who actually CARES for their customers. I went today to have links removed from the watch I got for Christmas however I was told I'd have to leave the watch there because they were "busy" and that's their store policy''. Store wasn't even that busy and they had 4-5 sales associate at the time. I've taken watches there multiple times and they would adjust it right there and then. Felt like the others were priority so they can sell items and meet their quota before the year ends. That's bad customer service. Feel like we're just a number to them when we've purchased multiple things from Kay's. To add, I've already taken my engagement right back 4x for loose diamonds and I've only had this ring for 2 years

My experience started good, I told the sales person exactly what I wanted. Trusting she was knowledgeable, she showed me a ring and I loved it. Come to find out the ring she sold me, didn’t have the the center carat weight. That I had asked for, so I had to return my ring. Then repurchase a different one with the right carat weight. Since the sale had passed. The store manager wouldn’t honor my discount for the second ring. Even though it wasn’t my fault the salesperson deceived me. This was a completely unprofessional mess. That I shouldn’t have had to go through. I guess you have to treat these people like car salesman. Triple checking everything they do.

Worst experience ever! Needed my wedding ring re-sized and unfortunately it had to be cut off. First they cut my ring in THREE places to cut it off because they didn't know what they were doing, then tried to charge us extra to repair and re-size it (even though we go the ring from kay!). Also, when they sent it out to get an estimate for the repair/re-size, they lost our ticket and it took almost a month to get my ring back! The customer service was terrible, they wouldn't return our calls and lied about things. We choose to take it to a local jeweler who repaired and re-sized it for almost half the cost. Do NOT shop here!!!

Don’t get a credit card with them. The bank Kay uses is the worse bank to work with. “Comenity Bank” is a scam. If you ask for refund you won’t ever see it. They still owe me money. It has been months of talking to their terrible customer support and supervisors and all. Kay will tell you to deal with them. That it’s separate from their store once the transaction is made. This way they keep their hands clean and stay rich. It’s sad because Kay is supposed to be a big professional jewelry store. Would have never thought they would do this. Look up reviews about Comenity Bank. Seems like everyone agrees.

I cannot say enough positive things about this location. From the start Dillion (manager) treated me with such respect and made me feel welcomed. They worked with me as there was an issue with my fiancés wedding band (no fault of their own) and made sure that we were taken care of. The other sales reps. are always so welcoming and just made sure that I had everything that I needed. We had to get my engagement ring and wedding band resized and, Dillion made sure that we had exactly what we wanted (even dealt with my fiancés horrible jokes!) Thank you Dillion, Pamela, and the rest of the team.

I must have caught Elise on a bad day because I didn't get the "spot on perfect service" nor "great service" from Elise that the reviews before me indicate. She was very unpleasant and not customer service oriented at all, maybe the manager missed her in his "housecleaning." Her responses to my questions and concerns were rude as if I was bothering her, she even stated "well if you heard what I said, then I don't know what your problem or issue is!" Absolutely avoid Elise at La Cantera.

Bad service. First we were not greeted when we entered the store. We stood there for about 5min before I walked towards two associates discussing and she said we will be right with you. After they split, the guy went to the back of the store and she went to a couple that just came in the store to assist them while I was standing there waiting. I left and went accros to Zales and got the same watch set I was looking for. If I got in the store is because I can afford what you sell.

I have been a Kay's customer for MANY years and I can honestly say that my experience with Scott (manager) and Elise (customer service agent) was spot on perfect 3/10/2018. This particular Kay Jewelers location has had some difficult and non-service oriented people employed in the past but since Scott came in and "cleaned house", it is a pleasure to shop here again. I thank you both for your quick and professional service on a Saturday with a packed store! You made my day :)

We were greeted with a smile upon arrival. Elisa was the sweetest and most helpful person who attended us. I was looking for a band to match my wedding ring set (which I had purchased somewhere else). Unfortunately, my ring had been discontinued and I wouldn’t be able to order the custom band that fit perfect. However, Elisa was able to almost instantly find the PERFECT band to fit my ring. A great start to celebrating our 5 year anniversary this weekend. Thank you Elisa!

This Kay Jewelers is a little out of my way, but I prefer driving there than going to the one down the street from my house. The service is great. Helped me select earrings for my wife. Had previously bought a jewelry package as a Christmas, but was missing the earrings. Came back and they helped me find a set that completed the package. Very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Can't just buy something. You have to register and give out personal info. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff The selections are nice and didn't have a difficult time finding what I was looking for. My wife loves her ring. I also didn't give a top rating because they only sell 1 size then you have to pay extra to have it sent to get it resized.

Really bad service. I went in to have some links taken off my watch and ended up waiting about 30 minutes to get service, then another hour to get the watch back. Watches I had seen at other stores, such as hamilton and movado were over priced. The sales people are also very rude unless you are a mexican national with pockets full of money.

Also Was informed that this store did not tell me when purchasing my white gold that price went down. So they pretty much robbed me out of 100$

Today marks the 1 month anniversary since I proposed to the love of my life. And thanks to Kay Jewelers, I now can see my queen wear the most dazzling ring I know she’ll enjoy. I also have this amazing video and pictures to prove how wonderful and spectacular it really was. It’s a dream come true.

The most welcoming staff especially Ms. Pamela Chavez! Walked in the first time and it wasn’t the right time but today we walked in and she remembered us pulled up our account and we walked out with the perfect ring my wife wanted! Highly recommend her and the rest of the staff at La Cantera!

AVOID THIS PLACE. I bought my wife some earrings. She got a horrible rash. Had to have plastic surgery. I was one day late returning earrings and they would not let me change for another item without paying 1/2 of what I paid. Almost $2000. Avoid this place like the P L A G U E ! BillyBob

Don’t do business here! Manager tried telling me diamonds crack if stored in same box. She wanted us to pay $300 for a new stone/setting. Horrible experience. Took the earrings to Zales ( very helpful btw) and they showed us under magnification that they were fine. Buyers be ware

Nice store but my ring had to be sent back in due to one of my bands not being lined up correctly when soldered together. We are also not able to contact anyone at this location as it says it’s “closed” for everyday or the week. Still have not heard or found out where my ring is.

I had the greatest experience today at Kay’s. I went to get a replacement battery for my Movado watch. I was greeted at the register by a lady name Lisa. She was so patient and informative. The service I received was so professional. I will definitely be back soon.

This location is great Lisa and the staff went out of her way helping me find the perfect wedding ring. I was acknowledged from the moment I walked in the door. I went back a few days later to pick out my wedding band and once again had a great experience.
