Usually flying with KLM and even their main hub in Amsterdam is great (5 stars). However, true character shows when there are problems. It's not KLM's fault that we have the Corona crisis, but handling their flights and cancellations was really unbelievably badly handled (-1 star). Everything they could do wrong, they did do wrong. It would be funny if it would not be so sad: for one flight NTE-AMS-NUE they mixed up the legs and wanted me to fly AMS-NUE first and NTE-AMS the next day in a attempt to get from Nantes to Nuremberg. At least the total travel time was shown as -13 hours, so they might have invented time travel, which would actually compensate for the hassle... The main problem is afterwards: they send you back and forth between KLM and Air France (who temporarily might have been planned to take over one of the cancelled KLM flights), refusing requests based on nothing, etc. etc. It's a nightmare and obviously they are (after 8 months of the pandemic) still both totally overwhelmed and blatantly unwilling. Only a lawyer can help to get your money back (-2 stars). We all know that these are difficult times for airlines, but KLM really seems to work hard on having no customers left afterwards.

Während ich mit dem Service von KLM während der Flüge sehr zufrieden war, bin ich jetzt schwer enttäuscht. Die Fluggesellschaft ist weder telefonisch noch per e-mail zu erreichen! Einzig ein virtueller Kontakt über die sozialen Medien fb messenger und WhatsApp ist möglich. Aber selbst der wird plötzlich mit dem Hinweis: „ich übergebe Sie an einen Kundenberater übergeben und bitte um etwas Geduld!“ unterbrochen. Ob es sich um Minuten oder Tage handelt, geht daraus nicht hervor! Es ist auch nicht möglich, irgend etwas hinzuzufügen oder zu korrigieren oder auf Änderungen bzw. Missverständnisse hinzuweisen. Alle Versuche mit einem Kundenberater in Kontakt zu treten, scheiterten! Und meine „Geduld“ um die gebeten wurde, wird jetzt schon seit 4 Tagen strapaziert!

Worst service you can imagine... although I arrived several hours in advance, neither they advised on the flight delay, nor did they look for alternative connections. So, I lost my overseas connection. At Amsterdam airport was as bad, total caos an absolutely NO support whatsoever. Never again KLM, you are an embrassement...

The badest Airline ever. One day before departure they rebooked my flight. The new flight was over the US and when I arrived at the airport they won’t let me on the plane without a Esta but I check in Online. No refund or no new flight was booked by the airline.

Ich war super zufrieden mit KLM. Alles hat perfekt funktioniert, obwohl ich einen Anschlussflug hatte, der Service war sehr nett und es gab sogar gratis essen und trinken. Für den Preis unschlagbar.
