9 of us had a family meal 30/08 and have to say it was the nicest meal I’ve had in a restaurant for a long time, the food was outstanding and service excellent. We ordered a wide variety of meals if the menu with all but one having a starter and all having a main with 5 having desserts so plenty of different meals with not one complaint. Sorry no photos too busy enjoying the food. The place was spotless and very surprised to find out it has been here for 6 years as it looked brand new inside.

My mum was in a wheelchair and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, the disabled toilet was more than adequate

Had a lovely evening after a last minute decision to eat out and chose Kurdina. Despite being busy, and us having no booking, the staff quickly separated off a table and seated us. Good choice on the menu. We started with garlic bread to share followed by lasagna and the salmon steak. Both were excellent and we finished off with the vanilla cheesecake which was just divine. The restaurant was immaculate and there was a great atmosphere with families and birthday parties happening. A good mix of casual and formal diners so go in jeans or wear a dress, neither is out of place. Total cost was just £60 which included a bottle of wine.

The background music was loud and, in my opinion, not conducive with a good dining experience. As I was the only person in the restaurant, I felt justified asking for it to be changed but it was just turned down a bit. I had Spaghetti Bolognese and the Bolognese sauce was very nice but the amount did not constitute a decent meal I asked for some bread and butter to try and make it go a bit further. They brought me a load of dry bread that was not nice at all. The dough hadn't risen properly and it tasted floury. The waitress insisted that I paid £3.00 for the couple of pieces that I ate. The attitude of the manager was that I should have known what I was asking for. Most restaurants would offer a roll and butter gratis but not there. I shall not be going there again. The 3 stars was because the bognese sauce was nice.

Service was attentive without being overbearing and intrusive. The food was superb. I had the mussels which where fresh, tasty and plentiful followed by the lamb chops which again were cooked perfectly and as requested. My wife had the Arancini which she really enjoyed followed by the vegetarian risotto with a slight change as she does not like mushrooms which they were happy to accommodate (meaning it is clearly made fresh to order). We then shared a cheese cake which finished the evening off well. Finally with the drinks and the food I was pleasantly surprised by the price when the bill arrived - unbelievable value given the quality of the food and wine we had consumed! We will definitely be going back soon and I would highly recommend this place for an evening meal!

Delicious food...wonderdul friendly staff...immaculately clean. .beautifully presented . Can't fault this gem of an Italian restaurant. Great choice but not too much..we were a party of 10&all courses... all arrived together... at the correct times..no 1 was left waiting.... the waitress just made it flow...drinks too...a well stocked bar. Nothing was too much trouble...I was able to take table balloons &cake round to them earlier which they brought out at the end to a fanfare of happy birthday. .brilliant... can't recommend this place enough...try it you won't be disappointed .... think I'll be checking out their lunch time offers too

Small bijou Italian style restaurant. Menu was compact but varied. Lacked Italian style atmosphere inside. Modern not traditional. Fresh products evident. Service was very good. Prices comparable to current post covid market being increased from last visit. Handy for quick visit though and plenty of varied bars nearby.

Used to be outstanding but last week was a total disaster! Not sure what's happened but we were served rotten meat - we ordered two steaks. Sent them back and were offered apologies plus replacements, one of which was sea bass which had also gone off, so was sent back. Such a shame though because before this, we rated food and service 5/5. Hope it's just an unfortunate glitch for the team that day.

Kurdina is a brilliantly simple Italian restaurant. If youve been down walton vale then you've probably driven past it and maybe never noticed it stuck between all the shops. The menu isn't too big, but the food is ALWAYS excellent. However, the family that own and run it simply can't do enough for people. We've been here about 4 or 5 times in 18 months and I've never had anything but good food. Its spotlessly clean and not too expensive either. The kids love it as well... so you can't lose really by giving it a go. BRILLIANT.

Like to try local restaurants, and have past here lots of times and never gone in, had mixed reviews off family and friends about here. The food is really nice, I had the lamb which was gorgeous, my partner had the lasagne which he said was lovely too. The wine was also really nice. The lovely lady who served us (apparently the owners partner) was so nice, smiling all the time and asking was everything ok. (Sorry forgot your name) overall it was a really good night, good food, nice surroundings, lovely staff

Visited this place on New Year’s Eve, standard price for new year which was good, staff very nice, place very clean, garlic bread with cheese very nice, wild mushrooms where not wild, they where just normal type, my wife had a salmon dish, which she found a bone in, and I had lasagne which was warm around the edges but cold in the middle, the minced beef inside tasted a bit weird, overall the place and staff are spot on but the food let it down, would I return probably not,

Nice restaurant with pretty good Italian food albeit nothing special about the cuisine. A definite 'safe' option for a good meal out with friends or family. However, if you are going to open an 'Italian' restaurant and you're not from Italy, it may be worthwhile looking up some of the cultural imperatives; not knowing what a Negroni is when I ordered one was definitely a negative. Still worth a visit for a local though.

We ate here recently but have chosen Kurdina many times in the past for family celebrations. On this occasion we opted for the seafood risotto and were amazed how very good it was as risotto is notoriously difficult to get right but this was spot on, the right combination of seafood to rice and lovely and creamy and tasty. We had not been to Kardina bar & restaurant we had not been for some time. We went Sunday it was full we got a table and thought we would have to wait a while got our bottle of Prosecco straight away the atmosphere was fantastic the food came quickly and was really good. definitely I would not recommend this place in any way, the food was over cooked, tasteless and dry as if they had done it the previous day, the staff is not up to scratch. I have gone with family members twice because was the most closer in that time for us and we were amazed by the constant change of staff and arguing all the time between them,that shows the poor management of the premises, I definitely take a bad experience to not return.

Booked a table over three weeks ago paying a deposit of £40 on arriving we where given a table that wasn’t setup. Returned two starters because the pawns where uncooked . We where then asked to move to other table because a large party had arrived. The main course was poor, we left most of it. On complaining to the manager he wasn’t interested. Never go there again

Absolutely appalling service, far too long to wait for food, even though pretty ordered. Asked once if we wanted drinks!! Assured that we could pay our bills separately, only to have it come as one bill, and the bloke who assured us of this, to deny it when approached! stroppy Asian waitress, said they were tired and we'd have to sort the bill ourselves.....NEVER AGAIN, SNOTTY MARE, OBVIOUSLY MISSED THE MODULE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE

A mate and I popped in on our way back to the hotel after a night drinking. Looked like they were about to close but they were happy to stay open and serve us. I had the Calzone that was very good. Would recommend this place.

Would not recommend food tasteless dry and over cooked,waiter dropped drink over my neice no appoligies given just a drink brought over, it is crammed no room to get in or out from your seat and was served french fries with over cooked fillet steak when the menu said potatoes totally shocked me will nvr eat there again not even for free staff ok but food very very dry and bland very disapointed

A truly beautiful experience with a lovely reception from the staff who accommodated use immediately even though it was extremely busy in the restaurant. We were seated immediately and then promptly delivered drinks. They food was delicious and plentiful and I found myself thoroughly impressed with my steak and my brother had the lamb which he assuredly assured me was mouthwatering delicious.

In the present climate I was very satisfied to see that social distancing and sanitize measures were being very well maintained... There was a lovely menu with plenty of choice.. The staff were very pleasant and attentive.. The food we all had was very well presented and or good quality and cooked very well... I have been before and I would say that kurdina is well worth a try...

My sister and hubby up from London so 5 of us went there at 6.00pm Saturday evening 2nd March. Pre booked. It was busy all evening. The food lovely and so plentiful. The rump steak was done as we asked. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff attentive. I would recommend to local people you don't need to go further afield with the standard they provided. Well done.

We enjoyed our meal here but didn’t immediately think ‘let’s come back’. The service was good and the staff are very nice and polite. The restaurant is very clean and modern. Location is a bit strange being on the main road. Could see this being a problem for parking but was ok for us as we are within walking distance. Definitely worth a visit.

If I could leave 0 I would. Absolutely appalling service received. Asked by staff once for drinks in 2 and half hrs, waited ages for food which was pre booked. When asked to have to bill split (16 of us and this was pre agreed) were told by staff with disgusting attitude they were tired can't do it and we are only customer. Should be ashamed.

We had a great meal and had lovely starters then I had the seafood risotto which was really superb in fact one of the best I’ve had! Thank you. Could not rate this higher. We went with a group of 6 for a friend's birthday and all ordered different meals. Everyone completely cleared their plates for the starter, main course and dessert. The food was spectacular and the service was lovely. The staff were so welcoming and kind. We will 100% be dining here again.

Maybe it was a different chef that was on shift that day? Would this put me off going again? Definitely not. The staff are lovely and welcoming and it's a lovely atmosphere.

Had my 50th on Friday night here and had a fantastic evening. Food was brilliant and everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality of all the staff. Would recommend this restaurant to all and considerating there was 11 of us the total bill was less than £300 including ale

Stunning food, full of flavour, a seafood linguine and a carbonnara. The calamari in the linguine was so soft, cook to perfection. 2 meals, large wine, a pint of beer and glass of lemonade for just over 30 pound. Spot on.

A hidden gem on Walton Vale. Food gorgeous and freshly prepared. Has a good varied menu. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. It is family friendly. Would highly recommend for a intimate meal for two or a larger gathering.

Went here for my wife's birthday, the atmosphere was very good. The food was delicious, best Risotto I have ever tasted. All our group commented on nice their meals were. Would definitely recommend this place!
