I was a loyal customer of this location. I bought winter tires & rims from this store and returned for my tire change to the same store consistently for two years. Overall, service and professional attitude towards the customers are going downhill. A few things happened with my recent tire change. 1. Service tech opened up my glove box and center console box when I specifically mentioned my wheel lock was left on the passenger seat. I know they opened up the console storage because things were all messed up inside it. I had a provincial park pass, that fell off the console storage. It went under my seat when the tech performed this. I reported this to the store manager Hassan, but he claimed they do this on 95% of their cars when they cannot find the wheel locks! Ironically they feel it was perfectly ok to do that, but it was ok NOT to mention to me when I came back to pay the invoice. I would have appreciated it if they said it when I came back. I don’t feel very comfortable when people do not communicate well, especially when you spend on their service. 2. Invoice says tire pressure was set for 36 psi which matches OEM recommendation. But after tire change none of my tires had this pressure. Two tires were at 34 psi, and other two were at 35 psi! Hassan had his explanation for that! “It is normal for their system to have the tire pressure to be different by 1 to 2 psi.” WTH! Then why are you mentioning 36 psi on the invoice when you can’t promise the same to a customer! I went back after a 30 km drive and mentioned all these to Hassan. He refilled air on my tires, and guess what? All my tires had low pressures on his system readings too. I don’t appreciate it when people do this kind of thing. Last year I did a tire alignment. After it was done, my steering wheel was not straight. I was not happy with that either. I reported it and was told to bring my vehicle back. Hassan was the manager back then too. He did some fix. But my steering wheel was still not straight as it should be. I went by another service place to fix it. I didn’t make a big deal of that situation back then. As per Hassan, anyone who does not want their glove boxes to be opened by Kal tire techs, then those customers need to inform upfront! Well, good luck with that! I am done with this store! Giving 2 stars for getting this work done in 90 minutes. Lost stars are for the service that I was unhappy with.

Latest update: I went today for a 4pm appointment for winter tires, and was told it would be up to 2 hours, which I declined since I had an appointment I could not miss and previously it was only up to 90 mins during previous visits. The gentleman at the desk then promised tge car would be ready just after 5pm. I arrived at 5 pm only to see the cars first tire being taken off (and it was the first lug nut to make it even worst). So I tried others means of transit which all where either delayed or not running on time (I'm talking to you TTC). Anyways, I hate when people lie, and hate it more when it costs me $100 because I missed that appointment. When I schedule an appointment and I'm there at 4 pm, I expect they would be able to fulfill their side if the bargain. My time is just as valuable as theirs and I will not come here again. It takes 30 mins to change over tires, and being dishonest is something I can't forgive. Update to first review: Kal Tire reached out to me proactively and we had a great conversation in which I felt as though they really valued my feedback and listened to my concerns. I dont believe my previous experience would be normal here, but feel I should leave the original review so everyone knows that they will listen to you if you do not have an ideal experience. I will be going back for my next tire change in the spring. Original review: First time at Kal Tire, and it will probably be the last. The agent at the front desk was so unfriendly and rude that I couldn't believe this was the same company with great reviews online. When I first arrived and mentioned I had a tire change appointment, the agent, Allen, just said " keys in the bin" and went to do something else. I thought this was weird but did as instructed. Since I don't live within walking distance and it was cold outside, I went to check on their progress about 80 mins later. He looked at me and said we ask for at least 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the appointment and again ignored me. The car was brought out less than 5 minutes later, so I went in the pay my bill and finish this terrible experience. I know people can have bad days, but it's no reason to speak to abruptly and rudely to someone who is not asking for anything but basic courtesy.

Extremely poor quality of customer service. Tried to book my car in at the location last Wednesday. I was outside the store and asked the guy if I could make an appointment. He knew I was outside but instead told me I had to go and book online and there were no appointments that day. I returned home, went online and a customer service representative said yes they have a place available that day at 1.30pm. I called back to confirm that it had been booked. The same guy I had spoken to outside the store reluctantly said yes. I brought the car back to the garage. Rude and abrupt service resumed, and I felt like I was putting them out of their way to provide a service that I am paying for. I went home and 3 hours later got the text to say it was repaired. I collected my car and drove home which is 2minutes away. The car hasn't been driven since. I went to go and drive my wife to work this morning and another tire is flat. It's a different tire - it must be extremely bad luck I thought. I ring the same guy (His name is AL) and he basically says, yeah you need to get that one done also, but can't fit me in today, it will have to be tomorrow. He then tells me that he will need the car for the full day. I ask him why does he need the car for a full day to fix a flat tire repair, his mumbled response is rude and non logical. Over all this place has made what should be a routine enough simple process into a very unenjoyable one. This is the first time I have bothered to write a google review, but the guys attitude and lack of care merits it. I would suggest going somewhere else if you need a flat repair in the area. I just booked in with a local mechanic who said he could fix it while I waited. It turns out it was a stuck valve and did not need repair. The last people to inflate or go near the valves were Kal Tire. Glad I didn't have to wait until tomorrow and leave my car there for a full day to find that out. Jokers. Live and learn. Stay safe everyone.

Don’t waste your time and money at this Kal Tire. Every time I go there is some sort of issue. I’ve spent almost $2000 here with tire changes, storage, and buying tires. I went here because of the convenient location but after every single visit, I leave more than disappointed. You can never get a hold of them if you call and they will make you wait a minimum 2hrs+ for a simple tire swap when it clearly states “please allow UP TO 90mins for a tire change” on their website. I went there a couple weeks ago to drop off my car for a simple tire change and once I arrived 10mins before my appointment time at 5pm, the worker told me that my car would be done by 7pm. When I get there at 7pm, my car has not even moved from the parking spot I left it… I went in and he told me it would be AT LEAST another hour. I couldn’t wait any longer and rescheduled my appointment. I was so dissatisfied with their service I found another shop and just wanted to pick up my tires from their storage. For 2 days straight I called calling the store and texting the manager to see when I can pick up my winter tires stored there. When I get to the shop to simply pick up my tires since the Manager said I can pick it up anytime, the front desk worker told me my stored tires were already “shipped off to the warehouse and its not there”. After I told him to talk to the manager my tires are ‘magically’ at the shop and he told me to pull into the back to load it into my car. When I see my tires they are DAMAGED - A huge scrape on my rim and I know for a fact I did not drop off my rims like that. They argued with us saying I dropped it off like that and how there was a note saying my rims were damaged when dropping it off but it does not state that anywhere on my records or receipts. It is honestly NOT worth your time and money going here unless you want damaged tires and lots of wasted time waiting for a simple tire swap.

If I do go back it's because of the excellent service the manager provided after the fact. Increased from 1 star to 2 because of this. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original Review: Do not go. Completely incompetent. Today was our third visit (hopefully our last). We had our winter tires put on. When our car was returned the tire pressure was low. No problem, I refilled myself but the tire pressure was different in each wheel. Showing me they didn't inflate the tires properly or check pressure. A few days later our front left wheel was completely flat. We called ahead told them we would be having the car towed in and they said no problem. Called back at the end of the day and they said they had no record of our car or the updated request... It took two days to get resolved and have the issue addressed (turns out they put the tire on incorrectly). A few days later, we noticed the hub cap was missing from the same wheel. Thankfully 'they had just found it'. We had it put back on and the wheels torqued never to come back again. From this experience it's clear the operation is completely incapable of running smoothly. For a simple tire swap we had a week of running around, many phone calls and an expensive tow truck trip. We had used them twice a year for the past four years. The new management must have really screwed up because the experience is so bad we'll never be back. Hope they can learn something from this horrible experience.

Why even bother with appointments? I've decided to discontinue my business with Kal Tire after a series of extremely disappointing wait times, for incredibly basic services. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I have generally gone during the busy tire-swap seasons, but after waiting 2 hours today (almost Mid-May) I'm thoroughly unimpressed. If they cannot handle the capacity, then don't book the slots. It's that simple. I should not be waiting 2 full hours for an on-rim tire change. I am giving them 2 stars because they are COVID safe, reasonably reliable, and clean. Otherwise it's a bit like pulling teeth to watch your car sit untouched for a full hour and a half after your scheduled appointment time. It would literally be 4 times quicker for me to jack up the car in a parking lot and do it myself with a torque wrench - all without the power tools and lifts they have on hand. It's a shame. They seem honest and forthcoming about mechanical recommendations, if a little blunt about it (I'll take that over the opposite). But time is money, and if you value your time then Kal Tire Carlaw is NOT the place for you. EDIT: Kal Tire Carlaw is swinging for shady Amazon seller vibes and leaving me messages asking me to call them back. This is the third service in a row I've waited over an hour and a half at. I'm not taking down this well earned review and I would strongly encourage other potential customers to question the legitimacy of "4.4 stars" when management is so diligent in private damage control. You can't unwaste my time.

Not happy with their customer service, I have had several bookings with them which they called at the last minute to change or push back. I asked if my tire change, where my tires are on RIMS could be pushed back by 30 minutes because I have mandatory training because of CoVID, these same people I have accommodated when their staff wanted to change my month ling booking to attend the staff Christmas party it wasn’t convenient for me but i left work early to accommodate them and now when I just need it pushed back by 30 mins because my booking starts at 2 and I doubt I will reach there before then and they couldn’t even work with me a little makes me want to take all my tires out of storage and use another company to do my tires instead. This is not decent customer service at all but I’ll be cancelling my booking and shopping around as of today. Update: My email was quickly followed up by Kal Tires customer service dept. Shortly after I received a call from the Manager who explained what was going, which given the circumstances is understandable. The Manager also apologized very sincerely and followed through on rectifying the issue as well as going above and beyond to regain my business. I have to say Kal tires management and customer service depot knows how to handle customer issues quickly and compassionately.

Brought my car in for a seasonal tire change. Like others, the 90 minute guarantee was not met but that’s the lesser problem. I was informed my brakes and calipers needed to be replaced. Too bad but okay - was told the repair would be done by the end of the day (I had brought my car in early in the morning). I came back 45 mins before closing. I waited for another 45 minutes *after* closing before I was told that it would still be a couple of hours. I was told that if I came back first thing in the morning it would be done. I double checked this assurance as I mentioned I had to get to work in the morning. Was assured it would be finished. Of course, come 8am (shop opens at 7:30am) the car was not ready. I was told it would “just be 5 minutes”. 30 minutes later, my car was still up on the lift and my wheels weren’t back on. I was told again “it’ll just be 5 minutes”. Eventually, a further 30 minutes later (an hour after I had first arrived), it was finally ready. I was an hour late for work. The communication and commitments totally sucked and I wasted hours waiting there because they over-promised and underdelivered. And then didn’t communicate their errors. Will not be returning.

The only reason I’m giving this review two stars instead of one is because of Al, he’s great and this review is not about him. His mechanics on the other hand have A LOT to be desired and tried to scam me because I’m a woman. WOMEN PLEASE READ AND BEWARE: I went over to the mall to kill time while they were completing the oil change and tire swap on my car. Al calls and says they can’t find a “tire lock” so they can’t change the tires. I don’t even know what that is, so he explains it to me. I walk back over and three mechanics are all talking down to me, saying they can’t change my tires because they don’t have this lock and the last place I had my tires changed must have lost it. Then they say it will cost $65 to break the lug nuts and another $3.95 per new lug nut per tire. I was very annoyed so I asked them to bring the car down, which they hesitated about. I asked again and Al said “bring it down and we will look for the key”, and I said no I’ll look. So they brought the car down, I opened the glove box and found it in two seconds. SCAMMERS!!!! Shame on them trying to scam me out of more money. I won’t be back. Lesson learned.

I had a conversation with Al regarding 'All Weather' Tires for my car as I knew 2 of the All Season Tires needed replacing but I didn't want to go for winter tires as I am mostly a city driver and if it is that bad I just don't drive. He took the time to explain the pros and cons,( especially as I wanted the All Weather Run Flat tires) to me and gave me a quote (which was extremely reasonable). I decided to go ahead and booked the appointment. A few days later I got a flat tire up in Uxbridge, I called Al in a panic and he assured me I could have my car towed to the shop in Riverdale and they would order the tires and fit me in as soon as possible. All went well and today I had the first opportunity to try my new All Weather Tires in the snow - they are fantastic. I have a comfort level driving in the snow/slush which I never had with All Season Tires. My dealership had no knowledge of these tires and Al and his staff made me feel this was the right decision. I would highly recommend the tires and this shop. Thanks guys.

I ordered all of my parts online and when I arrived for my appointment, was told they had everything they needed and it would be about 2 hours. I received a call an hour later to say they had to order a part from the dealership and they would do that the following day because it was late. I waited all day to hear the update and no one called me. I tried calling 3x - twice I waited over half an hour on hold before hanging up and one time was hung up on. I called in the morning of day 2 and someone said they didn't know and would call me back. I went down after an hour to see what was up and found the guy ordering the missing parts. I finally had a robot text after almost 48 hours to say my vehicle was ready. When I went to pick up my vehicle, no apology for the oversight. I am updating my review from 1 star to 3 because the manager was gracious and reached out to me afterwards to offer an apology. I will give them a second chance.

2023 Edit: Things have greatly improved since Noticeable decline in service in 2021: I have been a long-standing customer of Carlaw Tire, where every visit was incredibly managed by Al. Unfortunately my past 2 experiences in 2021 are making me weary of continuing. Firstly there is often not a staff at the cash. At both of my last 2 visits I have waited 10 minutes before saying 'Hello' or popping my head through the garage door glass. I'm not sure if I have been simply unlucky in timing. Second, I recently had a winter tire changed scheduled for mid-Sunday. An hour after dropping off my car I was called to advise that the warehouse had not delivered my tires so the change could not occur. It was re-scheduled for Friday at 11:30am. When I showed up Friday at 11:30am I was told that there was no appointment scheduled. Thankfully Al fit my car in that day, but this was a frustrating experience all in all.

Terrible service and no trust I ditto the earlier comment - Al is great, and one of the only redeeming features of this location. The service at this location, after it was owned by Kal Tire is just plain awful. I have been going here for years, and recommended loads of people. The last straw happened this week. Went in to replace my winter tires this week for a quick change over appointment. After dropping off the car, they said that it would be 90 to 120 mins instead of less than the hour they had promised. They then called me, and told me that there was a nail in the rim of my tires - even though they were the ones that did the original changeover! Then, when I picked up the car, without the tires being replaced, they didn't even give me back my summer tires - even though I specifically asked them to put everything back in the car. Absolutely all trust is gone.

I have been to this Kal Tire location for a few times now. The service and workmanship there is top notch. I have recommended this spot to my friends and family. I want to address some comments left by other customers who had qualms about timeliness. If they take 30 minutes or an hour more than they were intending - good. They make appointments based on a functioning vehicle parts. If your wheels are rusted it takes extra time. I’ve personally witnessed the guys taking a sledgehammer to a wheel today. It was that badly rusted. They can’t account for that. So delays happen. The guys that work there take extreme care when fitting the wheels. And rightfully so. It keeps me safe and everyone around me safe as well. Also - they tell you when your car is ready. Text message. Sign up for that next time!

On September 9, 2021, we had 4 Nokian all weather tires installed at Kal Tire on our 2008 Saab 9.3 Sport. The service provided by Hassan was outstanding as illustrated by an observation I made while we waited for our installation. Another car that had just completed its tire installation was about to leave the shop. Hassan, the store manager, was seen to check every wheel nut personally with a hand tire iron to ensure that the owner would be able to remove any tire by him/herself should the need arise. Anyone who has ever been stranded, unable to remove a wheel nut tightened with an air gun would appreciate this! Every detail of the warranty was explained to us at the completion of the flawless installation. We look forward to our next visit to Kal Tire for our first free tire rotation.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Three weeks ago I ordered rims with Kal-Tire which were supposed go to this location and be put on my winter tires. When I arrived for my appointment, they said it would take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. 3 hours later they told me they didn’t even have my rims and they didn’t know what happened to them. They said the manager would call me the next day to resolve the issue. He didn’t and it’s been almost two weeks now. I called customer service numerous times and they said they’ve left messages for this location, and even took down my email address for the manager. This was such a waste of my time and energy. This was my only experience with Kal-Tire and I will never do business with them again. I would not recommend going here at all

I have been going here for the last few years for seasonal swaps, and to purchase new tires. Usually great service. Spent a few thousand dollars here over the years. I've been trying to call all day to confirm their other services, and have been hung up on multiple times. After waiting on hold for 10+ minutes, dude picks up the phone, doesn't say anything, and then hangs up. Kind of crazy that they have some angry mechanic going wild on the phones instead of hiring a real receptionist during their peak periods. I'm going to pick up my winter tires and go elsewhere. No point in going to two mechanics if I can't confirm I can get my services done here at the same time as my tires. Really disappointing because these guys have been much better than Canadian Tire or other chains.

Brought my car in cause 1 tire was popped. And ended up having to have all 4 tires changed. I was also told it would take them an hour and a half to complete and to wait for their call. After 6hrs I call them to see the status of my car. And I was told that they sent me a text message saying it was ready for pickup 4 hours ago. ( when I didn’t receive any text or call within that time). It’s also been less than 2 weeks since I’ve been there and the hazard light on my car went off. So I checked the tire pressure of my tires. And they were all over the place. Even after fixing the tire pressure, I can tell something is off about my tires. And I have to go bring it somewhere else to get checked cause it doesn’t feel safe to drive. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

It was a horrible experience on the Karl Tire at Karlaw. I had an appointment for Sunday morning. When I dropped off my vehicle, they mentioned it would take 2 hours (even with an appointment); ok, I bit too much, but I left my car and returned in 2 hours and 15 minutes. My car was still sitting in the same spot where I parked; nobody touched it, and when I complained, they said it would be the next; they were passing all the other cars in front of mine. Not mention they tried to charge $60 more on a tire change, not on rims, because I was bringing my other set of rims to mount on my winter tires, and it was mentioned it would be more work than changing tires using the same rims. I picked up my keys and left; there was too much lack of respect for clients.

The worst day is when you get a flat tire and the winter season is just starting. All the tire people and shops are busy as hell. Even if someone wants they can't help as they are busy. I had a flat tire in Toronto downtown and no one was ready to fix that. I found Kal tire Carlaw and went there in hope. And to my luck I found Shri. He is an amazing member of the team and a fantastic human being. Though it took time but I got my tire fixed. Shri is very courteous and went the extra mile to help me in the dire situation where no one was helping. This was my first visit to Kal tire but won't be the last one. Kal tire and Shri together won my heart. Kudos to the team. May more people think like Shri and help people. The value for the brand just escalated.

After spending $750 on my winter tire change I would expect any issues and workmanship to be top notch. Although this was not the case. After waiting over 3 hours for a tire change. I then come to find out driving down the highway my entire car shakes and veers to the left. I do understand an alignment would be needed and recommend although I was not personally told this fact. I have an important trip so this issue needs to be resolved. Then taking my car to a shop instantly for the issue to be resolved I was showed and told two of my four rims are bent! This was news to me as I was never told at the time of the install that this was the case? A little more due diligence when dealing with customers is a must. I will not be going back to this kal tire.

A good autoshop is hard to find and these guys are top notch! I had been shopping around for a reliable shop that would be upfront about what maintenance and service my car required without feeling like I was feeling gouged as a consumer or pressurized into making a decision. The guys here are courteous, personable, punctual, flexible, trust-worthy and offer honest advice with regard to what you do or do not need to keep your car going. With regard to workmanship, I've never had any issues and know I can drive with peace of mind after my car's just been serviced. I've been coming here now for the past two years and will continue to do so while I'm in the area, as I know my car will always be in good hands. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! :)

TERRIBLE customer service. I came in for a flat tire repair a few days before a winter tire change that I had scheduled a month in advance. The staff person laughed at me because my tire went flat right before I was scheduled to come in, doubling my expenses. I paid for two new all-season tires and then returned a few days later for my previously scheduled winter tire change. The staff told me to come back in two hours or else he would call me to update me. I heard nothing so I returned in two hours. No one in the shop addressed me. I spoke up and asked if my car was ready and the staff informed that it had not begun and was third in line. How is the shop over-booking itself — if I have an appointment is that time not reserved?

Exceptional service. I needed a patch on a tire. I dropped it off and the gentleman working the desk mistakenly took down the wrong cell number. I waited a few hours before calling back to check in, and he apologized profusely for not having my correct number (which was all good - I was glad he was honest with me, and I really had no reason to be upset about it). I walked over to pick my car up and he insisted I not pay for the service because of the phone mix-up. Definitely did not have to do this, but it was a nice surprise and I think a great example of excellent customer service. I do not normally attend this Kia Tire, but I will make a point from now on to reward them with my business given I was treated so well. Thanks!

6 months ago I gave Kal Tire Carlaw 5 stars but I’m sorry to say I did not have the same experience today for my semi-annual tire change. The staff was miserable and appeared rundown and overworked. Not what I’ve come to know when I walk in to a Kal Tire. A 3 hour wait for my tires and a bunch of people in the waiting room were in the same boat. I overheard one costumer complain and the guy at the front desk said management has tried to squeeze in more daily appointments which has caused these outrageous wait times... the guys just can’t keep up. I’ve been a loyal customer of the Kal Tire chain for 3 years and I’m sorry to say I’ve never been so disappointed in my car service and customer service experience as I was today.

I have been going to Kal Tire for years, and the staff at the Carlaw location have been nothing short of amazing. The scheduling, the service, the commitment to excellence... it is rare to find a business that operates like this. I have always felt like I am in great hands and have recommended Kal Tire to literally anyone who will listen. Unfortunately, during my recent visit to have my winter tires swapped out for summer ones, I discovered a huge slash in the side of my tire. I know for a fact that this was not there prior to storing my tires with Kal Tire, as I always do a check before the swap. Now, I am worried about driving with the damaged tire, and I have not heard back from anyone at Kal Tire.

Unfortunately after waiting 3.5 hours I was told my winter tires had not arrived to Kal on Carlaw. I requested they be shipped to the Kal Tire in Peterborough. They did not arrive, and after repeated phone calls to Kal on Carlaw they suggested I did not have my tires changed or stored with them. Thankfully I drive a company car, and the fleet company called. They were stored under an incorrect plate #. Kal on Carlaw then said the tires would be shipped to Peterborough, and that didn't happen until Cole at Kal in Peterborough called, was put on hold for 15 minutes, and ended up calling the manager of the branch. Unacceptable to both the customer and the other franchise.

A+++++++ Had a great experience at this store. Took my bmw e60 in for a tire change. They assisted me in choosing the right tire and gave me many options as well as helped me choose the correct rims. Service was excellent and my tires and rims arrived very quickly. Tires were installed with no problems at all. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Shri and Al and the crew at Kal Tire have been my go-to neighbourhood service station for tires, seasonal tire changes, and car maintenance over the past 10 years. They are reliable, trustworthy, and courteous. They often take a moment to describe the reasoning behind any necessary repairs with a focus on road safety which is important when you drive an older vehicle as in my case. Their prices are fair and they don't attempt to upsell you with unnecessary repairs. Most recently they were kind enough to fit me in and replace a flat tire at a time when they were fully booked until December 25th. Shri went out of his way to come in early and replace my tire himself.

I always get such great service from the team at this location! I also feel like they are honest in their assessment. I was having a lot of issues with my Mazda. I originally took it to my dealer, but they came back with an outrageous cost and a list of things that I should "fix"... the next day I immediately booked a checkup at Kal Tire for a second opinion. Turns out most of the things that Mazda told me I needed to fix we're not urgent at all. I got what I needed to fix and my bill was $600 less than what Mazda quoted!! I have to also call out Shri. I was looking for winter tires for my suv, I walked to the door but the store was closed 6pm. I saw a mechanic working (Hassan) so I asked him about winter tires he opened the store and spent at least 1 hour talking about tires he was very informative and knowledgeable. I had my doubts about kal tire but after meeting Hassan I knew my car was in good hands. I purchased a set of Michelin and I'm very happy with the tires and he also took the time to explain to me all the warranties and rebates that come with the Michelin tires. I'm very happy with KAL TIRE the (carlaw location) because like any other franchise there are good and bad.

Bought my first car, and have been used to upselling and dishonest practices so far. But not with this Kal Tire location - most people told me that places I would change my tires at would push services on to me to raise the bill, but this location checked my alignment for free and told me they didn’t recommend that I spend extra since things were within spec. They were very polite and professional, and so far everything seems good. Booked appointment online, they took my keys and everything was taken car of - tire change, balancing and storage. Very happy with my experience at this location, and will definitely return next summer.

Wasted 3 hours on this and never got the service, don’t repeat my mistake. My winter tire appointment was scheduled for 4pm, for which I arrived in time. The person at the cash register told me that it’s going to be 1h30m and that they would give me a call when they are done. I never got the call and came back after 1h45m and the car wasn’t even touched. When asked about how long will it now the person at the register told me “45 minutes after they take your car in the shop”. They couldn’t even tell me when that Would be. Poor scheduling and management. Took my tires and will be changing somewhere else.

First time we came to fix our car, it was well done. Then later, another (new)issue came up. We were told the part was replaced yet the issue persisted. Then the same part got replaced again (under the warranty) , and the issue was only partially solved. This showed us that it was not addressed properly the first time, even though we got charged. This auto shop failed to determine the other cause of the issue, and we got a refund. We took the car to another place, the root issue was determined within 30 minutes and it was fixed properly. Not here, but at another car repair shop. Will not go back.

One of the best experiences I've had with any auto service garage. Jalal was patient and accommodating throughout our initial email correspondence, providing quotes on four winter tires and never doing a hard sell or rushing for a decision. He took the time to explain every detail and answer questions I asked without ever being condescending or impatient like a few other garages I've been to in the past. Went there for new winter tires, I was offered an alignment which I accepted (and paid for). After service was done I went straight home, a few blocks away, and didn’t really notice anything odd. Two days later when driving I noticed it was actually misaligned in around 30 degrees. I called to get an appointment asap since it was pretty bad, and the customer service was just awful. They didn’t even apologize for the mistake (and charging me for that), and he was super rude when I asked for a same day appointment. I’m definitely not coming back to my next seasonal tire change.

I’ve gotten my tires here, had my brakes done here last spring and just suffered some rim damage from a brutal pothole. I dropped off my car on new years eve day for a tire change, wheel alignment, and tire storage. Much to my surprise, when I picked up my car, I was told that upon inspection, my wheels were still ok and I did not need an alignment so I was not charged for one and then the provided me with details on when to book my appointment for my text tire chang to get my winters off. I had quick turn around the service, they were courteous and polite, and the entire experience couldn't be more easy. Will definitely keep storing my tires with and returning to this location!

Excellent location. Well managed, excellent service, friendly staff, knowledgeable workers, clean office, and COVID safe. Had my tires changed over and they actually checked to see if I needed an alignment before just doing it like most other tire shops. I cannot express how nice that is! Most places will just do the alignment and charge you for it, but they actually took the time to evaluate if I needed one, told me a didn't, and then didn't charge me for the evaluation. Honest, quality service, I will be heading back to this location for my next tire change.

Exceptional service. There was an error on the warehouse’s part sending out the incorrect tire, but these great people addressed the issue, kept me updated and still had my car ready before I expected it. Do not go here for an alignment if you cherish your vehicle and want to get the most out of your tires. I checked their work after and they ended up just doing a toe n go alignment for me and didn't even provide an alignment spec sheet afterwards. My camber and caster were still WAY off as they didn't even touch them. I ended up taking it to another shop, for a bit more money, and they got it right in the same amount of time. On top of that the other shop showed me the previous alignment numbers and my toe for both sides were also still off by a bit.

Took my car in for a bent rim as recommended by five star who couldn’t replace the rim as needed. Staff: so friendly!!! So pleasant!! Not my personal experience but writing this review on behalf of parents who actually went to the auto shop for help. Our car had a flat tire a couple of days ago and my parents went to Carlaw for help. Carlaw was able to squeeze out time to take a look even though they were fully booked. The flat tire was beyond repair, so my parents went back the next time to put on winter tires. They were given advice on the condition of the winter tires as well as our car. My parents want to thank Jalal and his colleagues for their caring customer service.

I've had seasonal tire changes and storage here 4 times. 3 evening appointments and a 10 AM appointment. Despite having pre-booked appointments, it has never taken less than 2 hours and evening changes took over 3 hours twice. There is a fundamental problem with scheduling appointments that Kaltire cannot seem to keep up with. Additionally, on one occasion my directional tires were mounted backwards and this was not caught despite the fact that this is supposed to be a specialty tire shop. Business going elsewhere.

I called the phone number to ask about a winter tire change. After a 10 minute hold the guy hangs up on me. So I called again and after another 10 minute hold the guy tells me to "use the website just like everyone else". So I go on the website to book a tire change and the first step asks "Are your winter tires mounted on their own wheels?" This is my first time buying and changing tires and I don't know what that means. Since customer service is refusing to assist, I'll go with someone else.

Incompetent people. They incorrectly installed 2 tires and my mechanic discovered them 2 years after. I had them fix the issue during a winter changeover but they didn’t fix the issue at the same time and asked me to wait for another hour since the installer started working on another car. This made me wait for 2 hours and 45 minutes for just a changeover. I’ve switch to Lubevan home service and for the same price, it has so much value as I get to save time. Never coming back to this place!!!

Highly recommended! We bought tires here a couple of years ago and went in for the free offered tire rotation that is offered. After the rotation I noticed that the brakes were working better, the handbrake cable had been tightened too, and the car drove like it had been given very good attention. Went there in the morning to change a flat tire, they said leave the vehicle we will call you when done. After couple hours they called saying all 4 tires must be changed it's a safety issue, I said the tires are only 16months old, still lots of life left. Now he says I have to change minimum 2 or they can't just change single one. Really, stop with all these monkey business. If you can't do it just clearly say no, but don't give nonsense reason to customer.

I went in for a flat tire repair. It turned out to be a rim leak. The guy said that I need to seal them annually as preventative which is BS. I'd be careful about what other repairs and 'maintenance' they suggest as being important or necessary since they aren't completely honest. I also had to go twice to get my tire fixed as the first time I arrived they said that they couldn't help me in spite of my appointment because another car was taking too long

The best Auto Shop Around! I had issues with the A/C in my car as well as the engine light was on. They gave me an honest opinion in what needed to be repaired. Everything was done in the time line I was given. They even checked in with me a few days later to make sure everything was ok. These guys are friendly, honest and a pleasure to deal with. Today was a clear indication on why proper systems and communication is necessary. Went in for seasonal tire change after I had to call for an update on tires I had ordered, only to be told they could not access my account and request I return the next day. Needless to say that wasn't happening. Thankful for the Shri and staff on correcting this issue. I give 4 stars (for all the efforts) but this shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Had a winter tire swap scheduled for 4:30pm, I returned at 6pm with nothing done, was told its busy season and they were backed up, maybe don't book so many appointments or give a heads up when I first arrived instead of me wasting an hour and half for nothing, also found the staff to be rude and not very apologetic. This is the second time this has happened here , thought I'd give them another chance but not again.

I bought my tires at Kal tire and only wanted to check for suspicious slow leak to prevent a flat. They have the full service package for every customer when you purchase tires from them. Called on Monday and no squeeze in for emergency checks and was told nothing available until Friday. Should a customer need to wait that long for a quick tire check? I went there to repair my flat tire. They charged me more than 50 bucks and the next day tire was still leaking. I asked them to check it because there was a warranty for the repair. Another client when I was there had their hub caps stolen at that location. Go elsewhere if you value your time and money. If they had checked my history there they would have noticed that this same location did a break job for us only in the spring of this year. Ha! Crooks. Makes me wonder if it was required last time. I had an appointment for 5pm and waited 2.5 hrs for a tire change. I book appointments so that I don't have to wait. There was no reason for this delay. Completely disgusting. staff were trioging based on who was sitting in the waiting room. There were people that had 3pm appointments that didn't get served by 730. the issue is related to a district manager that overbooks.

Booked an appointment in advance, came in at 17:30 for my scheduled time, gave them the keys, car entered the bay only at 18:45, and was ready at 20:00. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if you treat your customers so poorly anyway ? Also they didn’t inflate tires to optimal pressure 39/45 and didn’t reset the sensor. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all cost

I had to deal with a very unprofessional person at KalTire front desk today. When I asked how much an oil change would cost, he mentioned “Be patient and don’t be aggressive”. When I inquired why I didn’t received my booking confirmation (as I used to get a confirmation msg in the past), the reply was “ there might be something wrong with your phone”. Unbelievable!

The manager here is Hassan, and he took great care of me and my car. In a world where factory-certified techs can't be bothered to use torque sticks, he torques every nut to spec before and after driving the car around the lot. Each of the last 2 times this company did work on my car, they acted unethically. The 1st job, they attempted to overcharge my wife after providing me with a quotation for a lower price.
