A great place to pick up your parcels at a time convenient to you, with wine tastings on Friday evenings, great grog selection, very friendly and helpful staff especially for what is a very busy post office and general store/cellars. You can even deposit and withdraw cash here. Excellent hours for a Post Office, and pretty good for essential items. The owners are very welcoming, accommodating, looking to improve service and always open to feedback. Feedback taken on board includes stocking items for quick lunches and for picnics/tourists, such as small prepacked ham and cheese with rolls etc. and introducing a more budget conscious range of essential items. Comprehensive range of wines, with a good selection of beer and ciders. Love the wine tastings every Friday night in the way home from work.
Have breathed life into the store. Such kind staff. Always up for a chat. Nice, genuine people. I'm so happy with the gourmet range they have on offer. For Christmas my mother in law purchased a little bit of everything from the store- Bethany Claire cakes, stick balsamic dressing, etc. Made my day. Thanks for being awesome and I'm stoked that you're in Kallista.
I don't live there but a person I work with does. You get a real sense of community there. Love it. The front parking is the only frustration as there are only 3 bays that are consistently in use. But if you don't mind a very very short walk, one can always park at the main parking next to the traffic circle.
This is a little post office with attached grocer. Quite fine. Small local produce section which is not really what you would be here for but much welcomed. A very nice selection of take hone meals though costing is on the higher side. No attached cafe.
Great unique poduse and excellent boutique beers wine and cheeses. Kallista generall store has everything you need for a romantic picnic, to a wedding or a family day out. Drop by for some tasty cheese platters whine and more.
The best 'local' store I have ever had. The customer service is beyond reproach. A delightful owner, nothing is too much trouble, even if she is feeling cranky, she's cranky with a smile! Best local store ever :)
Such a fantastic store - great atmosphere, amazing staff - Liz & Geraldine are fantastic - brilliant products and make a great coffee as well:). Highly recommend and will certainly be back:)
I needed a last minute hamper made up for a family member, and Rachel was so wonderfully helpful, even so late on a Friday night! Service and beautiful quality products should be applauded.
Super friendly staff and a great range of products. The wine knowledge is outstanding, and it's fantastic to be able to get good advice tailored to your tastes. Thumbs very up!
This place is a little gem run by very knowledgeable staff. One of the owners is a winemaker and gets some great wines in. Wine tasting on a Friday afternoon too!
Great community centered service, always goes the next level to recommend a wine to try or tasty meal for dinner. Very lucky to have in our little town.
Lovely little store and post office. Very friendly service. A little pricey but guess that’s just because it’s a small village store.
Great little spot. Had the potential to be great if there was more vegan and veg friendly options.
Great eclectic range of wines with fantastic knowledgeable staff, great coffee and homemade food.
Great wine selection, they have coffee and is a post office and small deli
Very expensive but high quality. Around $15 for a coffee and a muffin.
Great wine selection, local and regional! Always enjoy a visit
Attentive service, great selection of wines

Best coffee in the hills.
