I was dissaponted with my experience and final outcome of my hair colour. I wanted to enquire into a balyage and when I got there a senior hairdresser did a consult with another hairdresser and we decided with a plan to blend slightly darker colours into my root area and blonde foils throughout, as I would have normally got anyway. The final result was a warmer blonde than what I am used to and the top/root area appeared quite yellow to me. It took what seemed like forever to get the foils in I think i was there for 4 hours. The hairdresser who did my hair kept splashing water in my eyes while washing it, and the water kept going cold. She didn't talk much either but I wasn't really in the mood to talk and maybe she picked up on that. Then she asked me if i wanted a cut i agreed yes but she didnt ask what i wanted and then began cutting a fringe it seemed, she said she was just doing layers but my hair is curly and layers don't really work for my hair, so i told her to stop but was left with a few bits far shorter than the rest of my hair. On a positive note the head nasage was good Afterwards when I was clearly over the whole thing she got me to sit for photos and took at least 5 minutes, I just wanted to get out of there. The man working there was awesome and definatly improved the experience, he helped me by printing a form for me which was very kind and also adequate sure I had magazines and coffees. Also at the end of the appointment my card didn't work as the bank had a hold as they thought it was a subject of fraud and I thought I had sorted that out, but apparently not. The Man (sorry I don't know your name ) Came over to help as saw me struggling with the person that was helping me and we came to a solution so I could pay, but at this time I realsied that the lady who originally was charging me was about to overcharge me as she didn't deduct the bond I had already paid, I only realised this when he said a different amount to me. Over all not the best hair outcome for the money I paid which was much more than my usual

I’m honestly so upset and disappointed. I ended up coming here because I saw it was highly reviewed. I just wanted to have some layers put in because I felt the haircut I got 3 months ago (at another salon) didn’t suit my face. I naturally have slightly thick hair so I usually have layers put in to lighten it up. (Currently had slightly outgrown curtain bangs and the rest of my hair the same length) I had told Mari that I wanted to keep most of the length because I have a fuller face. What I didn’t realise was that Mari had taken thinning scissors to my hair so by the time she was done all my thickness and natural volume was gone I wish she had asked my permission before using the thinning scissors because I would have said no. Now I look like a jellyfish because the longer sections of my hair are so thin and the fringe is so short and thick. I had also mentioned that I wanted to continue to grow out my curtain bangs but she told me it’d be better to trim them. I will probably have to cut my hair much shorter now to make it look less drastic and funny. I truly had to hold back tears towards the end because she did not listen to my wishes at all and I hate how it looks. I don’t even know if this can be fixed. Thanks for ruining my hair

I don't usually leave reviews often but I decided to try Kamil's last week and booked Mari. Not only is she gorgeous but she is extremely skilful and from talking to her, realized she had over a decade of experience cutting hair. I asked her for a recommendation and she explained to me that since my face was a round sort of shape, an overall square cut was more suitable. I have to say, hands down the best haircut experience I have ever had in my life. She's extremely professional and treats you with extreme care and is always listening to your opinions on what kind of cut you would like. I would recommend just going to Kamil, booking Mari and literally just ask her for a recommendation. Sometimes, haircuts can be rushed but with Mari, she took her delicate time making sure each little strand of hair was at its right place hahaa. Not to mention, Kamil has massage chairs when they wash you hair. You wont regret it. Thanks Mari!!!

I entered Kamil’s salon with dry, damaged, discoloured and overall, lifeless hair. Mona was honest in her advice, patient, educational and articulated each method clearly to ensure I understood the reasoning behind each step that was done to my hair. She was also great in providing aftercare advice to help maintain my mane! She took such great care in repairing all the damages to bring my hair back to life and she is a great conversationalist which made my experience comfortable, fun and full of laughter. I would highly recommended Mona for your next hair treatment. Definitely returning after the amazing hair + customer service!

Mona and her team are amazing. Always welcoming and professional! I met Mona 6 months ago when I was loosing lots of hair and didn’t have any confidence about my look. Every time I come out of the salon I feel like a new woman. She isn’t only a super hero with curly hair but she is also an amazing human that really listen to you and gives you the best option for your case. She is very realistic and won’t sugar coat things.. I love her because she treats me like a friend and I always look forward to back to the next hair cut or colour. 11/10 for this business that has been my bliss heaven since May 2021!

Lovely staff and really nice Salon, however I wasn't able to get the colour I wanted which is fine as they pre warned me. But I no longer have any hair at the back of my head as it was bleach off. I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a colour correction as my hair is going to take years to grow back. I didn't have to pay for this service as they knew it was that bad. I do feel bad for leaving a review as I'm not a negative person but my hair has never been in worse condition.

Visited Kamil’s today. Lovely atmosphere and everyone was very friendly. Claudia was brilliant - I had booked for a cut and blow dry and asked about another appointment to colour my hair. She said she could do it today. She did an amazing job - I am delighted. I have booked another appointment with her so I can return to the UK with fabulous hair. Thank you again and I look forward to seeing you in January.

My experience here for the past couple of years has been absolutely incredible, but today was beyond their already stellar work. Mona was amazing today as she helped me realise my dream of going a cool purple from my natural dark brown/black hair. 3 hours later and I am absolutely in love with it - thank you Mona for putting up with my strange hair requests and absolutely nailing them every time!!

Just left the salon with a haircut and experience I will always remember, I had my haircut done by Kamil, who was very hospitable and friendly. We chatted about; and he gave very good insight; on the style of cut, how he would achieve it, the right products for me, and a bit about our life in general. Kamil has been styling my hair for the past ten years. I trust him completely. Over time we have worked with different colours and different styles but my hair always looks amazing! I love the experience of going to the salon. It is a well designed space and the customer service is second to none. I cannot speak highly enough of Kamil or his business.

I had my hair cut and color done by Claudia a few days ago. She was very professional. She suggested for me what would best suit me and how to take care of my hair at home. She did an amazing job. My hair now looks so healthy and bright. I will definitely be back again. Lovely team and definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful experience at this salon. I wanted to get my hair colored while on holiday and Claudia did a fanatic job. She matched my hair to my reference photo perfectly. The shampoo and head massage was also to die for, I highly recommend! If I lived in town Claudia would be my new go to hairdresser.

I've been coming to Kamil and Mona for around 8 years. It's hard to find a hairdresser who can do both short and good blonde. If you are looking for a short haircut Kamil is awesome. I moved to the Central Coast 4 years ago and I still come to Sydney to have my hair done with them.

Kamil did an amazing job with my hair, particularly considering the constraints he had to work within. He also provided me with lots of great advice on how to look after my hair and make the most of my haircut. I highly recommend this salon and will be going back.

Kamil is the only hairdresser in Sydney who has managed to re-create my blond hair colour. I am thrilled to have my greying hair thus transformed to my natural shade which not even my fellow Scandinavians can distinguish from the (previously) real thing!

Hi my friend, when a couple of days ago to receive a haircut, she’s very unhappy. An her bangs are lopsided, and the hair is not blended from her curtain bangs to the back of her hair would not recommend. Rip her hair Lovely staff tho

Look for Mari when you want a haircut! She listens and suggests which hairstyle would suit you best. Very good and gentle technique. I asked for korean curtain hair and she straight away got what i mean …
