Kashi- " The Eternal City"- The city of Light is said to to be more than 15,000 years old- the oldest inhabited city in the world. Home to 33 million gods and goddesses. 108 shrines with unique qualities were consecrated - and continues to live today. the Beloved city of Lord Shiva and his wife Parvati. But the here unfolds a total contradiction and disaster on this side of the world with a restaurant bearing the name of a beautiful city. For my Wife's Birthday ,On a cold rainy day - the 8th of December 2021, I paid $235.50 for two curries and a bit of Naan and rice with included smashed Poppadoms for $6.00 The owner claims to have been in business for ever yet his attitude towards me was very condescending and talks with a superiority complex. He made me feel as if it was my fault for the whole experience. The waiting time for food to be served is non reflective of any restaurant. From Entree' to the mains it was a total disaster. Food wasn't seasoned. I sought eye contact with the waitress and this was avoided as she was busy with her Ipad/Iphone. Finally when she arrived and I humbly requested salt , it took her more than 5 minutes to bring that over. By then the Entree' was warm instead of hot. It's very expensive. The pricing is atrocious and a huge let down. And the most annoying part is Quantity and Quality of the foods were very very low. We were better served elsewhere. Don't mind paying money if it's worth it, but I was really feeling very upset with all the foods, from starters to mains. I am most sure I will not be returning to this low lit restaurant which charges like a Taxi meter and dishes out pre-cooked food that is re-heated - that's how it felt since the meat dish was cold towards the bone.I paid $35.00 for this Goat dish and it was disappointing and blend. obviously we left it on the table upon our departure. To add icing to the cake, or insult to injury , the owner offered free "Gulab Jamoon" to us as i left to pay, as a peace offering for my constructive complaint. I wasn't sold on the idea and I politely refused. I guess unscrupulous turpitude still exists this side of the Indian sub continent. Whilst I am not in the habit of leaving reviews , I have been compelled to do so due to the arrogance and sheer bullish behavior of the owner. The audacity to charge such exorbitant prices and then label it as quality !!!. This bloke needs a reality check. he is so up himself. Please avoid this establishment- complete rip offs and out of touch with the real world.
Incompetent staff and over priced food 4 people at $242.50. Not worth the money. We booked for a 5:30pm on a Sunday. We arrived and it took them 5minutes to greet us. The staff saw us and did not acknowledge that we were standing there. I had to call them over so we could be seated. The service is beyond horrendous. No idea what they are doing. There seems to only be 1 person taking orders for food and drinks. We had ask 3 times to order drinks. The young Caucasian waitress was lovely. It is BYO and it was $4.50 per person. They did not have a decanter for the wine nor do they know how to open a wax sealed bottle of wine. It took them half an hour for someone to give us glasses for our own bottle of wine. We ended up opening the bottle of wine ourselves and they had no clue how. We were not told about the set menu and had to ask the person who was taking of the orders if it was available as it was offered online. We ended up getting the non vegetarian set menu for $55. There was nothing WOW about the set menu. Portion servings was good for the set menu. The Bhajia Chaat entree was drenched in sauce. The curries were average. Not a lot of meat in the curries. The rice and naan bread were average. The lady forgot our salad so we had to ask for it as it was included in the set menu. We had to remind the waitress of the tea at the end. The tea is just from a tea bag, nothing special. Food came out at a reasonable pace. The older lady was constantly clearing our table and asking if we were finished. It felt as if they were trying to push us out - the venue was half empty. When you ask for the bill they direct you to the counter near the “wait to be seated sign”. We waited another 5 minutes to pay because they did not see us waiting to pay. The staff here are inept. Toilets were clean. Plenty of parking.

What's not to love at #Kashi Indian Restaurant,. We fell in love with it's delightful Indian ambience, Bollywood genre of music, wonderfully warm and welcoming team spearheaded by hospitality orientated, aim-to-please, passionate duo, Arun and Sumi, backed by their loyal and able team, offering a sumptuous palette of mouth watering cuisine spanning India's culinary perimetres. We had such delicacies as a medley of entrees namely Maach Bhajia (lightly battered perfectly seasoned fillet of fish)/ Chicken Tikka/ Seekh Kebab / Bhajia chaat (spicy tangy and sweet to taste, all at the same time), with an assortment of mains such as Chicken Narkool / Lamb Rogan Josh with Warm gooey Cheese Naans and a fragrant saffron flavored steamed rice washed down with Nimbu (Lime) Soda and finally a fulfilling Dessert of Pistachio Kulfi Icecream. Yes, we confess we pigged out, we couldnt resist the lure of delish food, but when foodie heaven is within reach.. What's not to love at #Kashi Indian Restaurant. We'll be back and we'll bring our friends next time, Kashi Team !

It"s unusual when you have a partner who favours fat and protein to carbs and veggies. But we were more than pleasantly surprised that Kashi could cater to his 'palette de carnivore' with a wide delicious array of dietary options.. Well done #Kashi.

Have to say, I have a mixed reaction. The quality/ taste of the food served was really good, as expected. So, please pass on my regards to the cook. However, I am utterly disappointed with the service I experienced. First, we reserved online for the 8:15 pm slot but when we reached, we were told that the kitchen is closing at 8.30 pm. So had to rush the order and you get one chance to order. If thats the kitchen closing time, 8.15 pm slot does not make sense. Rather, keep the last booking slot at 7.45/ 8 pm so that the diners have enough time to order for something they need after the initial food order. Second, when there were a lot of empty tables, we were directed to an extreme corner table ( the smallest round table in the restaurant ). We were 3 of us and naturally they were struggling to fit in all the plates that we ordered. On top of that, instead of shifting to another bigger table ( which I did request ) another table was added to the round table. Imagine how uncomfortable it was to have one round table and another square table. We felt like sitting on different tables while sharing the dishes. Have to say, have just experienced an extremely poor service overall. Worth mentioning that I have been to this restaurant a couple of times before but was never disappointed. The food could be the only factor that might make me return to this place, but would expect a better service next time.
It was love at 1st sight for wifey with the ambience. Especially liked the Persian lamps which were colourful. Food was delicious & service was excellent. Lady who welcomed us at the entrance occasionally inquired as to how we are enjoying, though it took awhile for the Manager to meet & greet us. The icing on the cake was live music by Alfred de Souza who played evergreen classics at our request. Their signature dish "Kosha Mangsho" (slow cooked mutton) was tasty & so was the Chicken Biryani. "Peshawari Naan" with nuts was a novelty. The entree "Paneer Tikka" (Cottage Cheese) was nice to accompany the "Shiraz Grenache" selected by the Manager, Jyoti who was helpful. There should be atleast 4 Cottage Cheeses instead of 3 to share. Though portions look small, it was good enough for 2 to share. Space between tables are roomy enough to pass through. Actually we got attracted because of their Free Welcome wine for new members & also a $25 Birthday voucher. Also their Black Friday offer gave us extra $10 on a $50 voucher. It all worked smoothly to combine all offers in one go. Overall can highly recommend for a visit & will surely visit again with friends

We heard good reviews and booked our daughter’s birthday party with Kaashi. During the meeting and planning the manager and the owner assured that their food is going to be as requested that is spicy and not sweet. But on the day it was a major letdown. The food lacked flavor and was on sweeterside despite of requesting it to be spicy. The prices didn't match the quality, taste and hospitality of this place. Overall, a disappointing experience for me and my guests. The manager at this restaurant was incredibly unprofessional and rude to my guests. She mishandled a simple customer request and showed no willingness to resolve the issue (like moving the portable speakers away from my guests table to a corner where no one was sitting). I wouldn’t have known this until many of my guests complained to us after party about the manager being rude to them which was definitely not that I expected from this place. The good thing about this place was they had few staff members other than the manager who were very polite and helpful and would understand the request, and if they had to decline the request made by my guests they would not be rude but nice to them.

We visited Kashi restaurant for dinner. Our initial reaction was one of disappointment. We wanted to have the “Banquet” menu but found out that it requires a minimum of 4 adults in the table ordering the banquet and we were just 2 adults and a child. Anyways, once the food started to arrive the disappointment faded away. Each and every dish we ordered was delicious and the spice level was as requested. The taste was similar to what you would get at a really good restaurant in India, very authentic. Only complaint I have is about the size of the servings. I felt it was 25% less than ideal and left me not as full as I would have been ordering similar dishes at any other restaurant. Also, not too much choice for both veg and non veg. The ambiance is average, nothing much to write about. Basic to the extent that it literally makes you feel you are in India! The staff could have been a bit more welcoming and courteous. The music was non existent. They had few other stuff like tea pots, tea, etc on sale. We went on a Wednesday and almost all of the 10 odd tables were occupied. Good to book your table before going. There was sufficient parking on campus. Bottom line - food is good, ignore the rest and enjoy!
It's very expensive. And the most annoying part is Quantity and Quality of the foods were very very low. Don't mind paying money if it's worth it, but really feeling very upset with all the foods, from starters to mains. Never going again. Then let me refresh we were suggested to have those cocktails, which was not in the menu, and also we were not told the price of those, we were told to trust . But really that's a total mislead, which cocktail cost 30$ And 27$, after that not satisfactory at all? And also don't you think before pushing somebody to have something which is not in the menu, you should give a full details to the customer, regarding what he or she is going to have? The Fish curry was with overcooked fish. . We didn't say anything at that time because we didn't want to and another thing, yes we ordered all the specials hoping something will come good, but alas. And FYI, I didn't give u any feedback, didn't filled up any feedback notes and also I didn't say these tastes very good, maybe somebody else did. Sorry not me. I couldn't.
The Atmosphere was really good and service is so ambient. The food prices are exorbitant and we do not get the decent portion of the dish what we pay for. This is frustrating. For an example, they charge above $20 dollar for the Chicken Biriyani and we get the very Little portion for us to eat compared to the similar Indian Authentic Restaurants in Harris Park. For an example, For the portion of fish Curry , they are charging $39 dollar which is insane price. I do not think it is reasonable. However, I need to admit that the food was delicious and their service was very good. If you do not worry about the price and portion of dish, you could go and try.

I wish Google had negative rating. Because this restaurant don't even deserve a single star... By the way I was a regular customer of this restaurant since they open, dispite it becomes quite pricy and portion size reduces significantly in last couple of years. I went to this restaurant with group of 12 and ask for a glass of champagne. I served completely flat. When I questioned, I have been told by the owner that I don't know anything about the champagne and he is serving alcohol for last 40 years. He also refuses to serve another glass and started arguing. My friends and I were so terrified with the experience, we walked off from the restaurant without having dinner, vowed to never return.. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC Replay to owners coment: Even we don't want to come to the restaurant where owner is arrogant and rude and customer is served substandard drinks and then tried to cover up temper..

A nice lovely place to enjoy a meal with friends & family. Went to this place last weekend & had a very good time. The food is very good & they host & serve with a big smile which adds to the overall experience. Both the hot & mild versions of main course dishes were very tasty. Must tries/recommendations: mango lassi, paneer tikka (starter), dal makhani & palak paneer. Best of all, cheese/cheese garlic naan. Will surely like to visit the place in future & try something new. Cheers.

Kid-friendliness
We found the place to be kid friendly. Not that there is a playing area or anything but the ambiance & decor is interesting enough for kids to enjoy & talk about.
This unassuming Indian restaurant has some of the best Indian I've had outside of AJ's in Eastwood. Quality ingredients and top presentation make for an exciting meal. The curries are divine and the naan is hot and fresh. Nothing is overly oily or dry. For those with sensitive stomachs, you need to come here! The Indian here appears to be mainly North India style, so the hot curries are slightly milder, but that does not detract from the flavour. Staff were fast and friendly and the prices were generally favorable. Desserts were somewhat limited in range, but they had was great! The only oddity was the live music which comprised of one guy on a sitar, and he seemed to be just plucking random notes whilst tuning the whole time we were there. All up, this is definitely a recommended place to go. There's plenty of parking and they also offer take away, but no delivery. Will be going back for more for sure!
We recently dined at this restaurant and ordered the Malai Kofta, Cheese Garlic Naan, a cocktail, and a serving of papadums. The food was undeniably delicious, and we truly enjoyed our meal. However, it's worth noting that the options for vegetarian curries were somewhat limited. While the taste was excellent, we found the price to be on the higher side considering the portion sizes. Our bill came to almost $70 for 2 people, which felt a bit expensive. Despite the cost, we left satisfied with the flavors, but it would be great to see more generous portions or slightly more budget-friendly options. Overall, a delightful dining experience with room for improvement in terms of value for money.

My family and I dined at Kashi last night. The food, service and friendly nature of this lovely Indian Restaurant keeps us coming back. Delicious flavours in all the food and the chicken tikka with the saffron was devine along with the Chingri Malai Curry. We always feel welcomed by the friendly staff. Can BYO wine and they had a singer / musician playing songs last night which added to the ambience. Well done Kashi! We will be back! Thank you

We went to Kashi to celebrate a milestone birthday. While making the reservation I mentioned this in my request as well. They surely made it memorable as it went down in our list as a place never to visit again. Food was just ok with so limited options for vegetarian. When i asked what would you recommend for vegetarians the response was "Aaloo Gobhi". Even for non-vegetarians the choices were very usual with butter chicken etc. and prices were very high. They tried to explain that suggesting we make everything fresh and nothing is frozen for months. When I go to a decent restaurant I am not expecting to be fed frozen stuff anyways. Despite being relatively empty the food service was slow and service was not pro-active. My recommendation don't visit Kashi.

Best Indian restaurant in Sydney - hands down. You pay for what you get here which is top quality food. Unlike a lot of other restaurants, these guys use Free range & hormone free chicken, sustainable seafood & home grown spices. They care about what they cook & it shows. The service is absolutely second to none. If you want the full Indian dining experience - this is the place to go. Run don’t walk!

I have organised my son’s second birthday. Customer service is excellent. I never felt I am paying too much. Whatever they charge is worth every penny. I really appreciate all staff especially Jyoti who coordinated with me. Good communication and customer service. All our guests were happy with the food and cleanliness. Been to Kashi Indian restaurant at least 12 times in last 5 years. Food was excellent 5 years back. Now it is just average to good. Prices are really very expensive now compared to 2-3 years back. Quantity of servings has reduced dramatically. Paneer curry has just 3-4 small pieces paneer. Each adult need at least two main dishes for a normal eating person. If you are a good eating person you need 3 curries with your roti or rice. This shows owners are not fair! Overall prices are very high for the quality and quantity of food. I used to recommend this restaurant to many of my friends, but I will not do so anymore.

It was my first ever visit to Kashi. They had placed a scancode on the table to register as a member to avail birthday discount. Since it was my birthday, my husband out of curiosity asked the attendant about the offer informing her that it's my wife's birthday today. She had no courtesy to even wish her at first and bluntly stated that this offer takes some 48 hours to activate. While I appreciate their protocol and we didn't expect any discount, but the way she responded to us was absolutely callous and unprofessional. Anyway, the food was good but the customer service needs to be revisited. Will we visit again? Maybe or maybe not!

Really disappointed with the service of this place. No wonder it is not that busy anymore as it used to be before. We were there for dinner recently on a Friday evening where it was relatively quiet. We were still having our dinner and the waitress started to clean up our table without even asking. She even started to clear up water jug and glasses. We had to tell her to slow down as we were still eating. We found this really rude and disrespectful. No wonder people are not preferring to go there anymore. No matter how good the food is, if the customer service is poor, it is not welcoming.

Visited for the first time, lovely authentic Indian ambiance, and awesome food! Went for lunch on a weekend. Little bit on the expensive side but worth the money spent. Customer service was awesome too and much appreciated. Loved the cutlery was really nice. Place was neat and well maintained. Ordered latcha paratta and cheese garlic naan and a chicken gravy. All very delicious and yummy Mango lassi topped it off, very very yummy. Watermelon juice was really good as well. Enjoyed my time and will definitely visit again. Loads of car parking! Best part of the place is car parking is something always hard to find in most restaurants!
Had dinner here with my wife, the first thing we noticed were the wonderful aromas of the foods. A very relaxed unassuming atmosphere with live entertainment. Although the dishes were towards expensive they were amazing. Could not fault anything. And the service was exceptional, very polite and friendly. My experience here was one of the best dining experiences I've had, so much so I even tipped... I never tip. Will definitely be returning in the future.

We went there for Diwali dinner upon recommendation by a close friend. The set up is good, vast parking area and a reception area with a cute photo booth. But all the good things about this place probably end here. The food was very ordinary and the Paneer Tikka entrèe we ordered was really under cooked. The food they serve is definitely nowhere close to authentic Indian food. The staff tries hard to give you a fine-dine experience but neither the food, nor the restaurant interiors live up to what they are going for. After spending a whopping $200 I felt like wanting to stop over at the nearby Maccas.
This is our go to Indian restaurant and cannot fault it. From the mouth watering food to the ambience of the restaurant and more importantly the service provided from the hosts. I cannot recommend the restaurant enough and guarantee you wouldn't be disappointed.

My husband and I dine in here about once a year with my in-laws, so we decided to host our wider family for dinner on the weekend. Process for large bookings (16pax) was simple, and I appreciated the clear communication from the restaurant when I had questions. Quality of food is high, it's consistent (no decline over the years), and very tasty. Service is warm and friendly. Ambience is inviting. We will happily continue coming back. Kashi is a lovely restaurant and I highly recommend it!

At first glance it seems like a high quality fine dining restaurant , the prices are way over the top compared to other restaurants , the quality is below average , and worst of all the portions are so tiny which is quite disappointing . They charge 38$ for Lamb Korma with literally 5 small pieces of meat !! 9$ for a small rice plate which is barely enough for a child. I was looking forward to try this restaurant but ended up a very expensive disappointment

Nice place to have dinner ! Ample of car parking! Best part of my visit which I like about the place is car parking as in Sydney parking is something I always hard to find ! Beautiful authentic indian cutlery, ambiance, and great food! Another best part - very very tasty food (we ordered all vegetarian food) loved it… Tea- Yeah Indian style best tea not machine tea…love it!!! Good staff Toilets on-site Food Price - yeah it’s very expensive compared to others. But I didn’t mind as food was really yummy! I would definitely happy to visit again and next time I would try Non-veg dishes
This was our 1st visit to kashi and we absolutely loved it..even though it's very expensive as compared to other Indian restaurants but the food quality and the service is amazing...to start with amazing cocktails...we loved the Midori and also the mango cocktail...in starters onion bhaji chat was very nice and in mains malai kofta and panner kadai was amazing...the service was quite quick as well...the ambience is also really nice ....it's a hidden gem close to box hill....amazing owner as well.....it's def one of the best Indian restaurant we have been to in Sydney :)
Normally I dont write negative comments for businesses specially in this hard time. But after visiting restaurant today I am afraid that I won't be returning ever again. Food was great but my group sees many issue with service. Its an unacceptable behaviour from one staff member. Briefly when you work in hospitality industry specially in front line roll then you need to show basic qualities like accommodating, friendly and patience. But clearly this one was missing from one of the staff member. And that's reason for me to un-tick this nice restaurant from my list.
The live music and the food made for a perfect evening! Yes the food is on the pricier side, but for people who prefer quality to quantity, there is no venue in Sydney like Kashi :) Their food has very strong eastern India roots and its not your regular North Indian style watered down curry restaurant.

Arun and Sumi have created an amazing resturant with the highest quality food, attentive service and a great atmosphere. My family and I have returned multiple times over the years as the food is so good, and we are made to feel like family. I recently also did their cooking class, which was so informative but also hilarious and a fun experience. 10/10 would reccomend.

Its very difficult to find a place which will take you back to the memory-lane of your childhood where you enjoy a stomach full of food cooked by your mom or grandmom. Anytime I want to revisit that memory lane I come to Kashi whose authenticity is very close to my homely tastebud. This is definitely the best restaurant in Sydney. If you are craving for bengoli chingri malai curry come here… If you want to eat kasha mangsha come to Kashi. You love posto chicken then come here and the list goes on….

Service sadly lacking on the occasion of our visit. Two members of our party were not given menus. It took ages to attract the attention of a waiter or waitress to order a drink. I understand it was busy, but nobody smiled when they served us. We weren't made to feel very welcome. Then it took ages to get the bill at the end of the night. We had the banquet - entrees were good, the mains not so nice. At a cost of $130 dollars per couple including drinks, I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon. Tandoori Sizzler still the best around here.
Absolutely incredible! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in for something special. The staff was not only super friendly but also knew their stuff, helping us choose the most amazing dishes. The food was a work of art, both in looks and taste. Seriously, every bite was a burst of flavor, and the chef's creativity was off the charts. I can't wait to go back for more of their delicious dishes. Big kudos to the entire team.

An year back we got married at Kashi Indian restaurant function centre. And came today to celebrate our first Anniversary here. They made our day very special. They took care of everything so minutely specially Jyoti. Also the ambience of their function hall is amazing along with a garden. Food was exceptionally good all the guests gave us amazing reviews. Definitely recommended and worth it.

Just stopped to park in front of the restaurant to Google something, and felt like a can of Coke... so as most and majority of placed will sell cans of Coke however can you believe this restaurant does not sell any cans at all - of anything only 1.25L bottles. Service, poor & an absolute joke. Been to so many Indian restaurants and never heard the line"we don't sell Cans of soft drink" yeah I'm happy to take my $2.50 business elsewhere - hence why there an Indian restaurant stuck out in this suburb and not anywhere else.
Visited this place for the first time the staff were welcoming friendly we didn’t have a reservation it was no issue food was amazing service was outstanding bit pricey but well worth it would highly recommend

Visited the place first time and couldn't say it was worth the money. Couple of things which were disappointing, beers were not cold which they should be normally. Charging $5 for mint sauce was kind of cheap. Asking customers why you need chutney when you don't have starters left was outrageous. Too much confusion around who is taking order and who is bringing what to the table.

A bit overpriced for the food they served us. Portions were a bit small, chicken tikka starter only had 6 nugget sized pieces… Chicken biryani was a bit plain in flavour, I’ve had better in other Indian restaurants around liverpool and paramatta, harris park. The overall service was good though l, enjoyed the Murgh Makani curry with garlic naan

Lunched at Kashi last Sunday (July 10). Sushmita and the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome the moment we walked in. They were pleasant, attentive and helpful. Food was fresh and so tasty, neatly served in beautiful glazed clay plates. Overall excellent is the word for this hidden Indian gem in a tranquil location. Worth the drive to taste some amazing food and enjoy the awesome ambience. Would highly recommend.

worst experience. Staff( two female staff) kept watching and waiting to finish food as we booked table for 2030 hrs. she didnt even asked whetber we finished and started collecting dishes. I wouldnt even given 1 star. when we asked the staff that you should ask before collect plates she stated I am not the manager’ No customer service etiquette. wasted money!!! bad decision on birthday update: @1715hrs called the restaurant as requested for feedback , was told manager is away for 6 weeks.
Well the food was just ok. The high price that they charge is totally not worth the taste. The chicken biryani we ordered was below par and so as the malai prawn curry. Just a suggestion, if you are really charging high prices, please ensure the taste is premium too. On a positive part, we loved the location, very quiet and peaceful. Also, plenty of parking places. Will i go again? Probably not.

Especially the wine menu so didn’t take wine with us when we ordered nothing less than $46 Told the manager lady about the different in price she couldn’t be bothered. I even saw them advertised managers special for $25 but they didn’t give that too. Very deceiving ad in the net. Food was ok

I visited kanshi Indian restaurant for first time And behaviour of staff was very very bad towards costumer . I ordered lunch they asked to wait for 15 minutes but they were 15 minutes late. Their staff member jyoyis behaviour was really bad , she used bad words while serving the lunch . I just wanna say that don’t visit this restaurant it’s totally waste of money as their food was not of any kind.

Kashi restaurant lives upto it's name from variety of food and delicacies one must try there like matka kulfi, chai, gulab jamun, malai kofta, starters, salads, etc. Ambience and Birthday party lawn is well maintained with stage for performances and sitting arrangement for atleast 70+ people. I would recommend this place and its located at nice location slightly outside the rush of city.

Went here to celebrate a friend's bday, there is live music and ambience is really good. The musician sang bday wishes for our friend. Reservation is recommended here as this place is quite busy. Ample parking. Food serving was quick however portion of each dish was quite small. In terms of flavours food was good. Malai kofta just melted in the mouth. Biryani was just OK and serving portion was quite small. Paneer tikka sizzler was good.

We visited for the first time and our impression was that the restaurant was over hyped. The quality of food was good but not great. It is high priced compared to the served quantity. We have never seen biryani served in a plate. We did not like the attitude of the staff who were serving, we were regularly being monitored until we finished and moved off. We felt like we were being watched and asked to finish off soon and leave.
A nice restaurant in the outer suburbs. The interior decor is well done. The food is great. On Fridays and Saturdays there is a live band. Plenty of parking. They also have a separate area for small events.

I normally don't do reviews, but as soon as I walked in I was rushed to order even though we were the only table there, they came twice to ask where is the rest of the guests who was 5 mins late. Meals were okay and they rushed us to order dessert. They need to review their customer service and how they should treat their guest.

I love my Indian food, but after coming here, I don't think it compares to any other restaurant I've been to. The food is a rich authentic flavour. I love how there is someone playing some live music in the middle of the restaurant, makes it feel traditional. They also brought along promotions for birthday & anniversaries which I think is a lovely addition to keeping their regular diners happy.
We went for Dinner on Valentine Day not knowing that they need booking which is very much understandable. They asked is to wait. After 15min they came and said, they have arranged the table but THEY CANNOT ALLOW KIDS OR ELSE WE NEED TO TAKE ENSURE THAT KIDS WILL KEEP QUIET. How insensitive comment was that. Stupid comment and pathetic behaviour

We went in a group with kids. Specifically advised them we need mild curries first for kids and than they can bring curries for us. What actually happened? We'd received spicy curries first. Very slow service. Staff having issues with understanding, communicating customer's request to the kitchen. आमका पन्ना was great. That was the only great thing about dinner at Kashi.
We went many times eg. My grandson's rice feeding ceremonies and lunches and dinners, as well as my friend, are also doing. It is the be Indian restaurant in Sydney. The food is authentic Indian. I worked in eight countries and travelled to many countries. It's the best. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I can assure you that you will enjoy the Kashi.

Wonderful food. Definitely some of the best Indian I've had. Decor is quite nice as well. I've been 3 times already since Dec But service is best described as glacial. Last time it took over a half hour before we even got menu's. On all occasions, the restaurant wasn't even full. Won't be back. Will only buy as takeaway from now on.

I'm a local in the Hills District and hands down Kashi is the best Indian restaurant in the area. Nothing can beat the ambiance of it's kozy location in Annangrove. The staff is welcoming and the food is awesome. Can't wait till the lockdown is over, to treat the family to some great Indian food.
I am re-rating this down to 4 stars from 5 stars. Sorry but your prices have continued to soar above and beyond normal. The food is great. But these are city prices. Some meals are upwards of $40 especially when ordering on Uber eats.
