I am extremely impressed with the customer service at the Kathmandu Chatswood store, with a particularly big shout out to Alex, Barry and Daniel. On one occasion, Barry spent a significant amount of time with me, patiently recommending me various shoes to match my travel and orthotic needs. He explained the benefits and limitations of the various shoes in a way that I could understand, was very friendly and had no issues bringing out different sizes, colours and styles. He was then happy to order in a shoe size for me that they didn't have in the store. On the second occasion when I had come in to collect the shoes and they didn't fit as expected, Alex spent a significant amount of timing trying out various combinations of socks, liners and lacings so I could find the outcome I was looking for. Despite being new to the shoe section, he was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, patient and determined to try his best to help me find the right solution/fit. Both team members prioritised my interests and were only willing to sell me a shoe that I was genuinely happy with in terms of comfort, fit and look. They really went above and beyond and were not pushy, spent an incredible amount of time helping me out and again were extraordinarily patient in the long process.

A big credit goes to Barry; a gentleman who is always ready to help customers, answer their enquiries, provide the best suggestions and meet their needs I wouldn’t give more than 2-3 stars to some staffs but Barry is outstanding and he must be added value to this business. If you go there, try to find Barry, even if you couldn’t get what you want …. but this gentleman will definitely make your day better! Thank you Barry

Not a great amount of variety that I have seen at other Kathmandu stores. Sizing is limited & if you don't get in there the day they put items out, you've missed your chance to get your sizing. Seems to be more egeared to the men. Bring back more variety instead of trying to just sell expensive more than $380 jackets to the wealthy locals, how about catering for the masses

Best customer service I have ever experienced. Nick J, you are a legend! This man went above and beyond to help us out with a couple of sleeping bags. His attitude was upbeat and helpful he was super knowledgeable of the products. Ended up calling a few stores to find the right bags we needed. He did not rush us and we are super happy with the outcome. Promote this man!

Fabulous service from Craig at Kathmandu Chatswood Westfield. I have never experienced such great service and knowledge from any salesperson until meeting Craig. He knew everything there was to know about buying and packing a travel backpack. Simply excellent! Five stars from me! Craig, Kathmandu is lucky to have you!

Had to exchange a pair of hiking shoes here and my experience is amazing. From the call to me going to the actual store has been smooth and flawless. The wonderful ladies are knowledgeable and efficient and have given me good advice regarding the items. Happy that I went here!

Amazing, experienced staff that definitely know their stuff inside and out! Daniel and Kenny both took so much time and made sure we got the best possible shoes for our hike. Will definitely come back here if I ever need any other adventure equipment!

Staff doesn’t pay attention, I’d been looking for someone who could get me a sleeping bag but had to play staff hunting and found one 45 minutes later,
