BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE BOOKSTORE! As a student there, I love the University, the business program and all my Professors, yet I purchased a few books, with COUNTLESS concerns that I documented with the University staff and college professors, without resolution. The latest is a rental that I purchased on line, fulfilled by the Jacksonville bookstore team and sent to the Fort Lauderdale location for pick up, since the closest location to me (Palm Beach Flagship) location has a manager that shady is the best way I can describe it. So back in MAY, I checked with the bookstore by calling on the 11th when the order was ready and was told that it is open on Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. I even checked on Google to get the directions and verified the hours again. Stopped at the campus around 12:30 PM on Saturday, after driving from Delray Beach (about 40 minutes), and was also told by the front desk that they are open until 3 PM, but then went to the door upstairs only to find a locked door. I then checked with the library person that verified that the door was closed. When I went downstairs, I was given the excuse of "They were open only during the first week of the summer semester, and that was last Saturday." When I asked if they were aware that the semester started AFTER SATURDAY on 05/08/2023, the Monday after the weekend they mentioned, oh no that is not how we have it on our calendar....I felt I was treated like an idiot because the from desk personnel argued my position. Now, June 22nd, the rental is returned because since I never picked it up and had to buy from another vendor, I contacted the company that runs the bookstore, Follett, responsible for the return. As expected, the Keiser bookstore customer service has not refunded any funds and they keep closing the tickets sent from Follett, and cc me on double emails in order to confuse or forget the concern. I did mention that I will review publicly their treatment, but it seems they LOVE upsetting people that are professionals and do not just throw money at them. At this point, a BBB complaint is going to be sent for them and let's see how they support students (that have 3.91 GPA by the way, in Presidents List of KEISER.) This was a simple cautionary tale for all you future students out there. Remember, WE pay for our education and pretty hefty if you consider the college loans, THEY nickel and dime for a return of an item never even picked up or used? For shame....

I absolutely LOVE this school (Jacksonville Campus). It was an easy transition from Bethune-Cookman University. The staff are PHENOMENAL!!! from Vicki at the front desk, Brundrick in admissions, Mrs. Bennett in financial aid all the way to Dean Steele! & the professors are GREAT! If you aren't one to study effectively, prioritize and actively participate during class lectures, Keiser may not be the school for you. It's by far worth the investment. Most people invest thousand's and million's of dollars in purchasing homes, fashionable cars & perishable material things. If you make your education your biggest investment, you'll have an asset that cannot be foreclosed nor repossessed. Perhaps one class at a time could be equivalent to time spent on social media. I initially started day classes and they were from 9:00 am until 1pm. I then switched to nights and class was from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm, one class at a time. I graduated with an AA in Paralegal Studies in Dec 2014. I was accepted as an upper class transfer at the University of North Florida where I was a just a student number. I felt so disconnected & discouraged. Everything was a "process" you go there to do that with this office, run here to do that and somewhere else to speak to this person. Everything was filled with complexity all while being extremely concerned with taking on a heavy load to be considered a FT student and graduate on time. 5 classes, from Aug 2015 until Dec 2015. Core classes for my Political Science major & that major REQUIRES a minor. The great thing about Keiser is, you get to fullfill your 5 classes from Aug-Dec ONE AT A TIME! BUT STUDY STUDY STUDY bcz each class is 4weeeks long so you're covering what you'd learn in 4months in 4 weeks. that could be challenging for procrastinators. BTW, ALL OF MY KEISER CREDITS TRANSFERED TO UNF WITH NO PROBLEMS!!!! I dropped all 5 of my UNF classes & is currently pursuing a BA in Legal Studies at Keiser University. Yayyy me!! ❤❤❤

I moved to Jacksonville just to attend Keiser University. They knew just how to make it sound like I would be very successful when I first visited and got me right where they wanted (to commit to coming to the Institute). Every time I’ve called the school no one is never available to talk to me. My advisor NEVER reached out to me like I was told she would. Every time I needed to gather information about something I always had to call asking questions. The front office staff definitely do not care if your problems are resolved or not. As long as you’re feeding this school tons of money they are satisfied. I left to go continue my education elsewhere. At least 1 unofficial transcript must be provided to the student if requested! I have called and practically begged for my transcript for weeks now. Now that I’m asking for my transcript I have a balance of $862.00 that needs to be paid before I can receive them. It is holding me back from furthering my education at my new school. Not to mention that I have a email that was sent referring to a “Financial Aid Distribution” of the exact amount that I supposedly owe. Do NOT fall for all the fibs they feed you if you’re planning to attend this college. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I DO NOT recommend this institution at all.

I am a PTA student at Keiser and I am very excited to be graduating in less than 3 days. I came to Keiser as a career change from a different medical path. The PTA program has been just as rewarding as it has been intense! The caring and knowledgeable doctors, and specially Dr. Maione, that have instructed me for this past year have taught me more than I can say. Dr. Maione has created a very strong program and he always goes above and beyond expectations. For example, English is my second language and he always made sure that I understood his teaching in class. I am currently successfully completing a clinical rotation and I cannot possibly thank Doctor Maione and all the doctors enough for giving me the confidence to perform well in my clinical rotations. I am very happy that this university has prepared me well for this exciting new stage in my career. Thank you for everything, Dr. Maione!!!

The school has potential but unfortunately for me the lack of organization ruined it for me. Most of the students, like myself are prior military; we thrive off structure and organization. I felt like some of the professors didn't take their jobs seriously. I also felt they were making me take unnecessary classes. There is really no academic advising. They put you into random classes as they see fit. You really have to stay on top of your education path. Military is free easy money and I feel that some schools exploit that. What pulled me into the school is the one class a month while still maintaining full time status. This is an awesome aspect and i think it's what appeals to students. Most of the professors are really down to earth and easy to approach. I would say do your research and see what works best for your situation. I just prefer structure and organization.

Keiser has great professors and I loved all of the ones I had. My ISSUE with KEISER is that I CANNOT get MY TRANSCRIPTS! I understand if I left for no reason but that was not the case I had Covid-19, followed by childcare issues which I know they DON'T care about.... The hours are not flexible so it is hard to work and be on campus from 8-12 or 1pm/2pm I don't remember the exact times. I CAN'T complete my education at a school that has flexibility I need because of TRANSCRIPTS that I obviously can't afford if I didn't have the chance to finish school. I hope a lawsuit takes care of this issue for everyone in my situation. I worked hard in school and now I'm being punished and my life is on hold. RUNAWAY from this school because LIFE HAPPENS AND THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL. This one star rating will stay here FOREVER until I get my TRANSCRIPTS. Pain & suffering

How would I rate my experience at Keiser University (Jacksonville Campus)? From the time I have enrolled and up to my current year has been the most amazing experience. I am a junior in the Biomedical Sciences program, and the environment Keiser provides is unbelievable. I have a family away from my home life. The students, professors, faculty, and even the security are all so welcoming. I really enjoy waking up and going to my school knowing that no matter what is happening I will see many smiling faces that day. I have talked to many students inside and outside of Keiser, and when I tell them of my journey they don't believe me. Keiser University is not where I just go to school. This is my starting point of an incredible career this campus will help me obtain. I am forever going to be a Keiser Alumni. I love this canpus. A+

I am so glad that I chose to attend Keiser University, it has been a wonderful experience so far. The instructors are incredible and I respect them immensely! I would like to especially mention the Director of the PTA Program at the Jacksonville campus, Dr. Maione. He goes above and beyond for this program and deserves recognition for that. The PTA Program is very challenging but because of all the hard work he puts into it, in my slightly biased opinion, this program stands out above the rest! As much as I enjoy being a student at Keiser, I do have one complaint. The printers create a real problem for students. They're unreliable, slow, and always out of paper. Other than that, Go Seahawks! :)

The school has potential being great but going through the process with them is too stressful. No enrollment should be this stressful and trying to get a hold of them is nearly impossible. Tried to get my registration fee refunded as I’m relocating and didn’t qualify. Tried to get an explanation of why and it’s nothing but a headache and bunch or run arounds. I never received a call back or anything so I gave up they can keep the money and because of this situation and much more I wouldn’t recommend them. There are much better schools in the area than Keiser. Look for a better school who actually cares about their students as Keiser is not this school.

I wish I could give this school a 0. The lower ranking staff are great such as front desk people and anyone else who’s job is mainly customer service. I’m talking about Deans and higher ups, these people seem to only care about their image. I’ve had a horrible first impression of this school starting with financial aid. A substantial lack of communication led to a late entrance with no accommodations. When it was brought to the departments attention it was nothing more than a meeting that equated to a bunch of smiling faces with no help presented. By the far the worst school I’ve attended.

  • Raquel Illingworth

Keiser University is the most awful, unorganized and unprofessional school I have ever attended. The financial aid office is rude, the bursar's office is extremely rude, not sure why then they are ACCEPTING MY MONEY. Lastly, some of the teaching staff is completely unethical. They try to be smooth and call over speaker phone because they know their school is shady. I WOULD NOT recommend this school to anyone unless you have money you just want to waste. Spoke to an official OT with masters degree and they explained what a joke the school is. They stole all of my money

For most places, having to be there early I roll out of bed, but at keiser I jump out of bed. The atmosphere there with the teachers and fellow students amazing. Everyone comes in ready to get started. Even my friend T. She works over night and comes in but she helpful and friendly. Dr.Mcclain and Dr. E are very intelligent instructors, who I am very happy to have meet. And Mr. Hobbs best lit instructor ever. Fun, engaged, and most of all caring. I still have a ways to go, but I've been there four about 4 months now and ever day feels like day one.

  • Traci Pulwers

I did finish my degree and I've been working in my field for a few years, however some of the staff was unprofessional. The way in which we were spoken to and treated was like a child. If I hadn't already committed to the program and already completed my pre-requisites, I would've just gone to a different school. The tuition rate is obscene and you'll end up owing $60,000+ for an associates degree. Go to FSCJ and pay a fraction of that cost. otherwise you'll be in debt with student loans for a long time.

  • Tu Madre

I would say if the school, is like the person who took my information, to send me information, about the school, and did not send it to I. The classes must be confusing since; she asked my email, repeat it like 5 times and then said: could you give me your email. That is the why I did not choose this university. She nevered email the information, plus, I would not spend thousands of dollars in a confuse university. I chosed Concured. Expensive but plesend professionals.

  • ExplictRenegadeFlash 1999

Last night I went to the scare fair. I was extremely disappointed on how they let a student dress in the game room for kids on the second floor. She was dressed up like a playboy bunny!! With ALL of her cleavage out! This was an event for my kids to enjoy, not for a night out to dress the way she dressed. I will not be returning to Keiser for any more events. Extremely inappropriate attire for this event. The Superintendent will be made aware.

Tried enrolling in this school. Paid application fee, did entry test etc and my advisor just suddenly stopped taking my calls. Literally started off good and then I heard nothing..the last time I had to get a hold of someone and she was trying to help me BUT she was telling me a completely diff story than what the advisor told me. It was alot of run around and I felt like I was being ignored so I stopped calling.

  • Ryan Lawson

Great university with great programs. The admissions staff are all extremely friendly, helpful, and kind. From start to finish they are always there for you in every aspect of school. It's a smaller school with smaller classroom size. Population is very diverse. Extremely military friendly. The passage rates and job placement rates are great as well. Not like fscj where you're treated like just another number..

  • Dawn Carrera

Keiser University is not a military friendly college. They bill students by the semester and are not flexible when a military student needs to change their schedule even if you give them sufficient notice. Beware they will charge you for classes that you don’t take if you are forced to withdraw prior to the end of the semester.

  • LaChina Jones

Haven’t even gotten in the school and I’m super frustrated with all of the staff tht I have come in contact with. I have even spoken with the Director Of Admissions and I’m still waiting for response after leaving more than several messages over a two wk period. Save your time and money go somewhere else.

  • Johnny

Original quotes on cost of degrees are basically a sham. They’ll tell you whatever you need to hear in order to get you into the door and signed up for classes. My girlfriend ended being charged over 10 grand more than she was originally told by her course supervisor.

  • Jose Santiago

Wonderful college, the staff that helps me start my college experience again, care about the students, classes are well managed so everyone is helped 100%. I cannot wait till I start my next term at Keiser university. Thank you for giving me a new bright future.

  • Jim Bailey

I am writing is from the perspective of the running events they have here. Each year there is a 5K race put on by this university and it is awesome. Great course, friendly people and tons of give a ways. There is plenty of parking and easy to get to.

  • Jennifer Harrell

DO NOT go to this school. They tell you one thing when you are looking and once you start it's a whole different story. Military please stay far far away from this school! I wish google have - stars I would have given it an -.

  • Nick Reardon

I’ve struggled with committing to school while working on professional goals. Keiser’s accelerated class structure is the simple solution that universities across the country should adopt.

  • Caleb Bohannon

CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES AND WAS LEFT ON HOLD. THEN WHEN I DID REACH SOMEONE, IT WAS A DEPARTMENT THAT HAD NO CLUE WHAT I WAS ASKING FOR. NOT PROFESSIONAL AND NO MOTIVATION TO WORK.

  • Aiesha Ja'Nai

Besides being a bit costly, i absolutely LOVE Keiser. Not sure why the bad reviews but staff is great and friendly!! And yes i am a current student.
