NO MORE HOT, SLEEPLESS SUMMER NIGHTS FOR US - THANKS TO KING'S PLUMBING! I had a great experience with Chung & Kings Plumbing – so good that I felt compelled to write them this review. We hired Chung to install an air conditioner – something I thought I’d never I’d never need living in Calgary, but last summer changed my mind. Chung came highly recommended and for good reason! He was responsive and professional to deal with throughout the entire process, starting with his quote. Despite the shortage of A/C units in the city, he managed to find us a great unit at a very reasonable cost. The day of the install, Chung and his crew arrived right on time and got to work quickly. They were professional, polite, and explained what they were doing throughout the whole process, answering all of my (probably annoying) questions. While installing the A/C coil, Chung took the time to point out and fix some sloppy ductwork from the original homebuilders. Chung and his team were fast, efficient, and very respectful of my house. It’s obvious that they’re professionals who care about the smallest details and take pride in their work. All the new ducting and wiring was installed cleanly and neatly, and they cleaned up thoroughly after themselves when they were done. We’re thrilled to finally have air conditioning in our house and Chung’s price was very reasonable for the quality of the A/C unit and his service work. Other companies I’d called quoted me much higher for lower-end units and I doubt they’d have matched the quality of King’s work. I highly recommend Chung and King’s Plumbing and they’re my go-to service company for all of my plumbing and HVAC needs, going forward!

King's Plumbing & HVAC - Can't recommended enough!!! Incredible customer service, fast and reliable answer to any call or question, competitive prices, clean work (seriously - it looks beautiful) and knowledgeable experts... now read my story. Kings plumbing came day one to install our furnace. My 7 year old son Jaxson, having just seen the Super Mario Brothers movie saw the word "plumber" on their truck and rushed to ask if they were plumbers just like Luigi and Mario. Without skipping a beat, they said of course and told Jaxson they were Mario and Luigi. To say he was excited would be an under statement. Today they came back to install my AC and Water tank, to my sons surprise he got to meet the real Mario and Luigi! He couldn't have been more excited to run upstairs, put on his Luigi costume and spend the rest of the time watching and talking with them. Mario and Luigi answered every one of his questions. You can put a price on a furnace, ac or water tank. You can put a price on a service call, parts and labour. You can't put a price on watching a 7 year old boy light up when he's following around Mario and Luigi. A completely unprovoked act of kindness that already took a "5 star, would recommended review" to a "YOU MUST CALL THEM FOR ALL YOUR PLUMBING, FURNACE AND HVAC NEEDS!" Thank you isn't enough and my son will have this memory forever.

We recently had one of our old Poly-B high pressure lines spring a leak, and King's came to the rescue to patch the problem in no time. I knew that it was just a matter of time before more of these old lines started to leak, so we decided to get King's to replace all of our Poly-B (i.e. every high pressure line in the house). They were able to get this massive job done in short order at a very fair price, and when things got behind schedule due to some poor work that had been done in the past when previous owners had developed our basement, they worked through the night to get things back on track. Chung was the project manager, and he was a wealth of knowledge, giving us many tips beyond the main issues we were dealing with. We would recommend King's to anyone, and they will be our go-to place to call in the future! Thanks again Chung!

Chung was extremely responsive to my service request for an AC install. I was a bit reluctant to use a non HVAC specialist but he impressed me with his knowledge of AC systems and his satisfaction guarantee. After the AC unit was installed I noticed the unit was a little louder than I expected due to the vibration of the cage. Chung came back to look at it and contacted the supplier. When the supplier went silent on us he agreed to swap the unit for another one with no cost to us. In the end, we decided to upgrade the unit to a Lennox for a minimal incremental cost. I believe there are many contractors out there that would not have taken our satisfaction as the top priority and we’d be stuck with the original unit. I can’t say enough about Chungs integrity and professionalism. It’s not surprising he’s a 5 star on google reviews.

Second time I’ve called King’s. First time to fix our hot water heater which miraculously started working again while he was en route, so ‘The King’ came out for absolutely NOTHING! We offered him some cash for his troubles but he wouldn’t take it! Today!!!! Turned our furnace on and nada, zilch, nothing. Called The King to come out for a service call and he walked me through a couple of things and yup!!! Works again! In a world filled with people trying to squeeze every last penny out of a situation, how happy am I to know that this is a man with expertise in his field and he’s not afraid to share it without the threat of extortion or the promise to relinquish your first born. Guess that’s why he’s The King!! Thank you again so very much for all your help.

The best service you can rely on, Chung is the main person and his work is great. He actually knows whats he is doing rather than some guys who dont. For some reason our furnace acted up this year twice, first it was our construction guys causing problems and then recently something got stuck in the blower and the furnace decided to stop working, having small kid at home i have called and relied on Chung and he has come withing couple of hours to look at the issue and help it make it work. I would recommend his service to anyone who has issues with furnace and he is 24/7 so will be available always when you call him. Keep up the good work Chung. Cheers!!!!!!

With Chung he provided us with an excellent price and a better quality furnace unit as well. Since it has been installed our bills have gone down and it is extremely comfortable and quiet. Both him and his apprentice (who was wonderful with my kids as well!) were extremely professional, clean, and timely in completing the furnace install. I have had the best experience with King's Drain Services on two occasions. First, he replaced my hot water heater at the most affordable price I could find and days before another plumber said he could do it. He then came and fixed a pipe that sprung a leak immediately on no notice. This was the best experience I've had with a trades person. He was knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer all my questions, some of which didn't relate to the problems he was coming to fix. All in all, I have recommended King's Drain Services to all my friends and will continue to recommend him to anyone who has plumbing issues!

Came last minute the day after checking out our 50+ year old furnace to replace it and gave us a very generous quote. A lot of complications from my house which cause some delays but Chung worked through the entire day and stayed late. Even had to put in a couple more hours the day after. Chung did an amazing job and explained everything that was going on perfectly. Even after the complications he still stuck with the original quote AND fixed our water heater leak on the way out the door. That’s a good plumber. Definitely will be referring him to friends and colleagues.

Chung is a very genuine and helpful person. Due to the extreme cold weather this week of -35C, he has already worked a 40-hour shift when he picked up my phone call. Unfortunately due to time conflict, I had to go with another company to help me. HOWEVER, not only did Chung wished me well, he even asked me to take photos of my furnace and tried to teach me what to do and gave me lots of great advice! Best plumbing service ever! Arrived on time, very pleasant and reasonably priced! Plumber diagnosed our garburator problem within minutes and fixed immediately. He also fixed our problematic toilets. Other companies came to solve the same plumbing problems and just did patch work, charged an arm and a leg and still nothing worked properly. We are so happy with this service and glad we now have a RELIABLE & TRUSTWORTHY plumber. Excellent service and will recommend this company to all family and friends.

Called King’s Drain Services to install a new Hot Water Tank. Chung quoted me a price over the Phone. Best price I received from anyone and he stuck to it......no upsell. He installed it quickly & efficiently as well as threw in a few extras. Chung is very honest & knowledgeable and such a nice guy. Chung and his team did a great job on my water heater installation. My old tank was leaking, so they came in to replace it on the same day. They performed the job competently and took great care not to damage by house while wrestling a 75 gallon tank down the stairs. They were friendly and courteous. The price was lower than the competition and there were no surprises. I will definitely hire these guys again for my next plumbing job.

I had a strange sound coming out of the furnace. I phoned up my brother who raved about his hot water tank guy earlier this year. I phoned him up in the after noon of New Years Eve and Chung Niem answered. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone. Great prompt service, I was referred to Chung from a friend who had recommended him. I called about a hot water tank to be replaced under warranty, He was there within a few hours and did the changeout on a Sunday afternoon. He saved me hundreds of dollars compared to the next best quote. I will use him again in the future, no questions asked.

Chung came to fix our plumbing last night and was amazing! He went above and beyond to fix our issues, thoroughly explained everything he did and gave us an amazing price. These guys are top notch, initially the tech suggested 311, the city came and stopped at 8m so ended up with A back up again. Chung and his laborer were here at 615 pm cleared plugs at multiple depths and had incredible pricing and customer service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KINGS PLUMBING it's nice to see quality tradesman these days.

Excellent service what would have been a major problem for our small business was avoided becuase we called Kings and the owner who answered the phone after 10 pm came out and fixed the problem that night ! You just do not find that kind of service anymore I highly reccomend this company he did an outstanding job !!!

Chung and Sam were wonderful during the cold spell after Christmas. We had a drainage issue with the kitchen sink. They had to go to the basement to auger the drainage pipe. Messy job but they did it well. Professional and very reasonable cost. I would use them again and recommend to family and friends.
