"Nice park, good for a quick lunch and scape from Brisbane's CBD"
At twilight you can see possums and bats in the trees, which might be a novelty if you are an overseas visitor. But be careful, today I saw syringes on the footpath. The free with fi service is sparatic, doesn't always connect. Perhaps it would be more interesting.if they let native animals roam around. Have bird feedings, parakeets lorikeets and rosellas. Turquoise birds and exotic species. The public art needs up dating. I was told at art school it should be replaced every ten years, a sign of prosperity in the community.
Relaxing little park in the centre of a hustling and bustling city. It's on a slope, so can be a bit of a climb. There's stairs, don't worry. Not many people there. Most people are just walking thru. There are some benches. Graffitied but relatively clean. Some broken glass on the grass so be careful. Don't do something silly cos there's high risers surrounding the park, so people see.
Certainly a landmark place . It has people's emotion on this one don't know why you will feel it if you live here and spend time in this place. Lovely place. You may see weird looking people around sometimes but usually they are harmless and will surprise you with their friendliness if we talk to them . Have seen lovely looking possums here
Like to run stairs? Jacobs ladder can be a great cardio hit. Really nice place to sit n have lunch or relax n read a book. Take a friend or 2 and run the stairs. Take a blanket and have a picnic. Lots of shade for those hot summer days. Handy to central train station.
Nice park, good for a quick lunch and scape from Brisbane's CBD. Mate, those stairs are great for fitness haha! If you just drive around there, easily you will be able to see a lot of people exercising there every morning.
Quiet place to relax or a hilly shortcut between Wickham Terrace and Turbot Street. Popular with early morning walkers and joggers, especially those taking on the Jacobs Ladder challenge.
Got pretty well aquainted with this park the past week walking from the Madison Tower Hotel downhill to Brisbane city. Lots of pathways and 49 steps. Then these new steps;,much easier!
Nice park to sit, relax or eat your lunch. Nothing special that makes it stand out. Would have to be carful at night, there are lights, but still dark and not a lot of people around.
King Edward Park a fantastic park to walk and just appreciate the scenery of the place. Relaxing place over the weekend with the fam. Wonderful trees and flowers every where.
Great place, clean and my kids have enjoyed and seeing them playing on the playground happy makes me feel so glad we visited here.
Playground
Organized and big
King Edward Park is one of the most underwelming green spaces in Brisbane. It is about time BCC spent some money to beautify same and make it more user friendly.
Apesar de ser pequeno é bom para dar uma diferenciada no caminho cheios de prédios, lembrando que é uma elevação, portanto bastante rampa e escadas
Ok for exercise on the stairs, but no public conveniences nearby, even the nearest train station toilets are closed over the weekend …
Kinda small park good for pause a break if your jogging, walking or whatever..Highlight of this park is the Jacob's ladder.
A lovely green park quiet enough to really relax. Steep hill so could be challenging to some to navigate their way around.
Lots of shaded benches and gently graded paths to reach Wickham Terrace from the corner of Turbot & Edward Streets.
Great park, nce and long stairs to enjoy in the morning when you jog or walk. You see the nice view from the top.
Contains a heritage listed World War II air raid shelter. Jacob's Ladder is a great spot to climb stairs.
Lovely park in the middle of Brisbane. We happened upon it by chance and really enjoyed walking through.
The junkies at the bottom of the stairs provide for incentive to run up them. My running is improving!
It's less of a park than a staircase which leads to upward Edward street which has a couple of trees.
Could be some parts where it could be cleaned up a bit council there clean up your places in the city
A beautiful green park excellent for meditation or just simply chilling out! Great for Barbeques!
A nice place to breathe some fresh air and relax from the busy life in the city. Love this place!
Great to jog also the stairs are very useful for exercise. Lovely park at amazing view on top.
Molto carino, di vede lontano, la città. Dall'alto della scalinata si vede al di là del fiume.
Just a little escape in the middle if the hustle and bustle and the stairs are great exercise
It's a very steep climb up the stairs, but otherwise a delightful inner city green space.
My favourite route for lunch break walk. Unpretentious scruples turkeys get two thumbs up
Free WiFi but could use more benches as they are generally full at lunch time.
Lovely green space in the city. Nice place to sit back & look over Brisbane.
