  • "Great views across Surrey, there are a few trees obscuring views towards the west so the lodge gardens just next to this offer clearer sunset views across West Surrey/London"

"Fabulous view! Was a long walk from Isabella plantation, I’d recommend parking in the car park next to Henry’s mound, all car parks are free so if you want to visit lots of different parts and are bringing a car I’d recommend seeing areas and then moving the car to the next nearest car park"

"Spectacular view a d definitely worth visiting the park for such a rare sight! It's incredible to be in the middle of a park, surrounded by deer, and be able to look onto an iconic building in the centre of London"

Great views across Surrey, there are a few trees obscuring views towards the west so the lodge gardens just next to this offer clearer sunset views across West Surrey/London. It's only around 50m above sea level but the views are good. There is a telescope fitted there too but I didn't use it. More

Spectacular view a d definitely worth visiting the park for such a rare sight! It's incredible to be in the middle of a park, surrounded by deer, and be able to look onto an iconic building in the centre of London. There's a free telescope to use, so it's great for all eyesight abilities

Amazing views...especially during evenings. We can see St.Paul's cathedral (central london) very clearly using the telescope installed there; it is mentioned that even Windsor castle (about 13 miles from there) would be visible. The garden around was also very lovely.

Richmond Park is truly beautiful! Walking along inside the park you discover hidden gems & stunning views. From King Henry's Mound with its panoramic views to The Belvedere which is so special for lunch, tea or dinner you'll enjoy a visit to Richmond Park!

King Henry's mound provides fantastic views both across the Thames to Surrey and uninterrupted view (assisted by free telescope) to St Paul's in the city. Such a pity about the tower block that has been built in the east but still well worth seeking out.

Lovely hidden spot in Richmond park. From here, you can have an unique vista that looks out over St. Paul’s Cathedral in the distance (10miles). Officially protected so that no buildings can be built to obstruct the sightline. Truly amazing!!

Highest point in Richmond park. It has stunning panoramic views which include Strawberry Hill, Windsor and Heathrow. You are also able to view St Paul's Cathedral, which is 10 miles away. It's a great place to visit if you enjoy a beautiful

I can't believe it. I've lived in London for years, visited Richmond Park often and I was absolutely unaware of this point. You can easily see the upper part of the cathedral. Wonderful. I highly recommend spending time there.

The walk through Richmond Park was so worth it when greeted by such Spectacular views from the Mound. Even before that, we were very fortunate to see the deers roaming in the park. Once at the Mound, it was relatively quiet, so we could

I thought I'd be able to see it with my naked eye but had to wait in a queue of people even on a quiet afternoon to view it from the telescope. Unfortunately it was hazy that day so very limited view of St. Paul's.

Excellent views of St Paul's Cathedral in central London and the Thames Valley in the opposite direction from this historic location. If the visibility is good, the free telescope offers great views over a vast

1 of the best view spots in Richmond park by far! The views are enhanced through the telescope, can see St Paul's cathedral clearly and aeroplanes driving around and landing at Heathrow airport!

Not the first time I’ve visited as I live locally but I love taking people here and seeing their reaction of the views and especially the view of St Paul’s ( on a clear day!) More

King Henry’s Mound is an amazing spot that offers views towards the city of London, albeit a little bit too far, but mostly towards the west allowing spectacular sunset views!

Viewpoint where you can see arts of Richmond and Ham and even St Paul's Cathedral on a clear day, but there are parts of the park where you can see more of the London skyline.

A great vantage point for views towards both central London and Heathrow. A free-to-use telescope allows a view of St Paul's (also captured here on my new Galaxy phone).

There isn't much on the mound itself, however there is a telescope that allows you to see some important landmarks in London as well as some beautiful gardens nearby.

A really nice spot with a great feature. It is really interesting that you can look through the “window” and have an uninterrupted view to St Paul’s Cathedral.

Beautiful place all seasons whether early morning or late evening. There's a free parking and public toilets near by. Thanks for keeping it clean and tidy.

Hidden garden in a very high corner of Richmond Park where you able to see great views! Pleasant gardens with plenty seating areas to enjoy the fresh air.

One of the best views in London, you can see Windsor castle way off in the distance as well as Heathrow and even St Paul's through a cut out in the trees.
