Ordered my couch in early November 2020, expected delivery early Feb and there was a delay of 2 weeks which was not an issue. What was an issue was that Kings Living was calling me and harassing me last minute, threatening that my order would not be delivered the next day if I did not pay. They called me 4 times in one day despite me advising them that my daughter was in hospital and I could not make the payment that day; I ended up having to get my son to go in store to make the payment as I was getting harassed. Once payment was made, my couch was delivered 2 days later... and we realise that they forgot to order part of the couch - the headrest which also acts as a support for the cushion at the back. Another 8 week delay for this (mid April) that we were told they could do nothing about, not even expedite the order since it was their stuff up. They apologised and threw in some things which we appreciated, but were baffled at how you could forget to order something we specifically paid for. Eight weeks later, I went into Kings Living as I had not heard from them, only to be told that my order would now be here on the 5th of May. Last week I was emailed and told that my order will now be here in June, that they cannot give me a specific time frame and there is nothing they can do; which is not good enough. It does not take 7 months to receive a complete couch when we were originally told February. It has been just under 3 months since we received part of the couch, it is already showing slight signs of wear and sagging (it was ordered to be firm), I still only have half of my order and the rest of it does not have an exact time frame for when I will receive it. I am at the point that I would prefer to just return the couch and get my money back as I am not happy with the service or the quality; but again, all they can tell me is that there is nothing they can do.

The communication of the delivery team is frustrating. Only two days prior to deliver, I have been send with four emails to arrange final payment ( if you know it’s going to be delivered at such day, why can’t you ask for payment earlier). Secondly, the sofa delivered has black spots all over it which make us wondering if the king guard we purchased as extra were used or not. We have to go back to our sales to organise what to do next. When sofa is assembled, it has been assembled wrong. Magic joints were not installed, we have to check and ask for it. The whole experience is disappointing. The standard of king living is questionable, the quality is sub-optimal for the price of the sofa. The sales person is good and tried to help but the management of king living is irresponsible and doesn’t offer any help when we tried to organise a suitable delivery time.( when we purchased, we were told to place an order straight away, and in the event that the sofa is ready whereas our home is not, it can be hold in the warehouse. Then we were told recently king living changed warehouse factory, now sofa can only be held for 2 weeks? Just because you decided to change your warehouse, your customer has to suffer the loss and organise everything quickly to suit the deliver.) The process of organise the deliver is again frustrating and outranges and I see not effort put into helping customer by your management team at all.

Very very unhappy with king's service. I have the same experience with Tong Wang who leave the one star review 5 days ago. I made the order at Nunawarding shop long time ago, and told estimated delivery date is late April. my delivery was delayed with no explanation to May. And finally, they organized delivery from 8 to 12 pm of 25th of may. ( which is the same day and time as Tong Wang ) We take a day off and wait for the delivery, nothing turn up on the day and no one call or SMS. We then call the dispatch team every day and none one them give us any reason or information or call back. Some of the dispatch team just hang up the phone while we wait for 20 min. I call the shop yesterday and the person who answer the phone just say I should call the dispatch team. Its not her problem if we not received the delivery. I ask for a refund and she getting angry. Delay is acceptable but do not give customer a delivery day! We already throw away our old sofa and now everyone sitting on the floor. STEP AWAY from KING LIVING! PLEASE SEE THEY JUST REPLY SOME RUBBISH BELOW!

Buyers attention: I bought a set of Zaza series sofa and armchair. The armchair was however faulty when it was delivered. The delivery man took some photos and told us that they will report this issue and replace with a new one. King Living’s service soon followed up. After couple days, a technical man came and fixed the armchair, unfortunately it hasn’t been repaired and instead has gotten worse. The service group contacted me soon saying they will repair again. I bought a brand new chair not secondhand or display product. I refused to repair again, and have requested for either replacement or refund. They said they could only refund the armchair, but I bought the armchair and couch as a set so a return and refund for the armchair only won’t suffice as I will no longer have a set. Therefore I require a replacement of the armchair for a new one that is not damaged, or if that is not possible, a return and refund for both the armchair and the couch. Disappointedly, it’s already been one week after my latest complaint and I still haven’t received any responses.

Ordered combination of new and showroom stock late Aug with est. delivery of early Oct. Delivery subsequently delayed to early Nov (ok). Delivery was scheduled and I called showroom to specifically check that all items would be delivered together and was reassured this would occur (expectations set). Only half the order showed up (not ok) and a subsequent delivery was organised the week after. Parts missing on second delivery (not ok). Subsequent delivery organised to provide missing parts. No follow-ups. That totals three days on working weeks we had to organise and that was on top of double checking prior to the first delivery. Products are nice, delivery teams were great, but the service provided and having to chase around was an absolute failure considering being out four figures over 2 months. It wouldn't cut it in any other business. Whilst we have had previous delivery issues at Richmond King Living they were much better at handling the situation. Wouldn’t come back here again.

Carol was absolutely fantastic. Have placed our order and looking forward to delivery. UPDATE - communication has been absolutely zero and I had to call to find out where things were at a week before the delivery date only to be told it was delayed by at least 3 weeks and we would not be able to get 2 of the cushions we have ordered. Highly concerned regarding after sale support if there are any issues with the items and will probably stick to bigger brands in future. New eta is Mid October but this can not be guaranteed. Very disappointing. - UPDATE 2 couch arrived late November minus 2 cushions. Hours on the phone and several promised return calls and follow up totalling a couple of hours on the phone to get a delivery date only to be told sorry it's now end of the month (November) because of covid. Sick of excuses. Absolutely pathetic customer service. Would not recommend based on that alone.

Please do not purchase their products made in Leather. We purchased a Concerto lounge in 2018 and had it in storage for almost 12 months. When our house was finally finished we had it delivered. Hasn’t been used all that much and the leather has stretched so much to the point that it already looks like it’s 10 years old. They tried to put extra padding in and it has made no difference to the very stretched leather. We weren’t told this would happen to it at the time of purchase. We used inheritance money to make this expensive purchase and have been extremely disappointed with it. Trying to deal with customer service has not been pleasant! I wish I would’ve have read all the bad reviews on their overpriced, overrated pieces before we made the purchase. My Moran leather lounge looked in better condition than this one after 15 years!

Terrible Quality, Terrible Costumer Service. I purchased sets of sofas in 2015 and I was very happy with quality and service; then I purchased recliners, chairs, coffee tables in 2022 again. NEVER I purchadsed again from King Living. All items been delivered with lots af faulty issues and after 3 month still I haven't received a proper answer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They are nice just for selling their products, but there are huge differences between the delivery items and showroom. They are very organised to receive money and make sure the balance is zero before delivery, after delivery, you should take many days off to wait for their technician to come and have a look at items and then you should waste lots of your times to send emails to them to follow up your claim.

We have just purchased new dining chairs to go with the Jasper 13 lounge suit we have already purchased. Michelle from King Living Nunawading was such a delight to work with. She certainly knew her colours and how to coordinate the best colours for the perfect interior design result. I had a preconceived idea of what I wanted and she showed us something even better. I’m very grateful for her kind and helpful customer service and support. Totally recommend making King Living your next choice for furniture. Terrible experience with their quality and costumer service. Their quality id exactly like a second hand furniture and they don’t do anything to change it. Waste of time and money Update to my review:Recliner is terrible and has lots of issues and nousy and deformities getting worse. Costomer service is not helpful. Every body tells me someone else is responsible and nothing happened yet after few months waiting. Update August 2023: nothing done from costomer service, living with noisy deformed recliner, today she told me we didn’t force you to buy.they just sell their faulty products to you with smile.

After leaving another store very deflated with still no furniture after driving 4 hours due to the appalling customer service we encountered. We went to King Living and Douglas could not have been the absolute opposite. Not only did we buy the furniture we required we purchased more as he could not be more helpful. We will now buy loads more for our brand new house build and will recommend your store to everyone. Douglas listened to our requirements and made great recommendations, thank you for making our Saturday trip to Melbourne worthwhile :)

I purchased a set of jasper 13 wich has been delivered with delay after 3 months, they seems old, and cushions are deformed and there is not enough filling, I have called the customer service and the inspector came an admitted all the issues but costumer service denied the issues and didn't take any action. They showed me a high quality sofa in the show room but what I received is very disappointing Unfortunately they denied all the issues for the second time and asked me to call the show room! Does anyone know how can get my money back?

Poor customer service. The delivery team just dumped 2 big bookcases in our place upside down when it clearly shows which side supposed to be up. Upon contacting the Nunawading store a very rude staff told me that’s because you SHOULD HAVE GOT platinum delivery (or whatever they call it) instead of express delivery! Just because it is an express delivery -which they charge $100 for that- doesn’t mean that they need to leave 2 big bookcases up side down and doesn’t mean they can be so rude and careless ! Very disappointing.

I bought my sofa 3 months ago and after a huge delay I received it yesterday. The pillows shapes are completely different from what we saw in the show room, and the corner of the cushions have no filling and are already indented. The main cushions also don't have enough filling as they already look like they've been sat on for years. Not at all worth the $5300 price tag, I have been calling the show room and costumer service but nothing has happened yet! After 1 month!

Great customer service. Our sales consultant, Michelle is very accommodating. We bought our jasper sofa 5+ years ago and we've thought of adding more furnitures from King Living. Michelle asked us if we have a picture of our floors and walls so she can try to help us and match the colour of the new furnitures. I don't think they've done this years ago so definitely an improvement compared to other stores.

We have a delivery booked today for our new house. Received email and sms notification confirming the delivery time two days before. Waited 3 hours today, no show. Called shop and was told the delivery was cancelled. No one informed us of the cancellation until I called them. If you want to speak to their customer service, be ready for at least one hour waiting. Very disappointed!! Very bad experience!!

The sales at the showroom provided fantastic services. But the arrival in Melbourne (when it is ready for delivery) was one month late (than the date we got advised when the order was placed). Also, our request for rescheduling the delivery date was not processed promptly. Further, the legs of the sofa chairs were so hard to install, that I eventually used the rubber hammer.

This brand is just wasting people's time purchase a set of leather sofa and dining table since September, the sales person said everything will delivery end of Novemeber until today we still missing the dining table and 2 of my sofa. Customer Service can't do much help for us. Useless company customer service. Will never introduce this furture compnay to my friend

really disappointed with your service and attitude.Purchased a bed from them. No one looking after the delivery at all. Keep delays with sending the bed. No one is being responsible at all. After the payment, you guys are just like whatever, I don’t care. I would rather purchase from IKEA, at least they offer me delivery on time and answer my questions directly.

No responsibility for misquotes. Legally questionable quotation practices. Furniture fine, arms of furniture faux-wood plastic. Low quality for expensive furniture. Never again.

The sales rep Jason was amazing !!!!! It was his last day there and we were probably his last customer. We were there for at least 3 hrs . He was so informative , knowledgeable and personable. I ordered over the phone after visiting another store and receiving very poor follow-up from their sales staff, so I already knew the order codes. But my limited dealings with the Nunawading store were wonderful and easy. Our sofa arrived today as promised on the invoice and it's exactly what we ordered and what we wanted. Thanks!

Zero customer service - Zero clarity on delivery and items - Still waiting for two missing sofa from our order last November ( 8 Months ago) 8 months of waiting! Don't waste your money and time! Don't make a full payment before you have full confirmation on delivery of all items! Good luck with delivery of ALL your items!

Thery don't even deserve 1 star. Absolutely appalling levels of customer service. Make excuse after excuse, and give false promises about problems with their products. Their managers are always in meetings and seem to be allergic to calling customers back despite numerous promises to do so. STAY AWAY and save your money.

Everything has been smooth. Sales people in the store were awesome and our furniture came as expected. They said it would come in June, and it did. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. We bought the jasper set. The delivery guys were awesome as well and very nice. Please give them a raise.
