We are so disappointed with the customer service from your end. It is pathetic for a company to be lying to their customers the way King Living does. We purchased a couch for our brand new home back in September 2022 and were told delivery would be before the end of year but they would be in contact to update of any changes. No one has contacted us throughout this whole process. We have been the only ones contacting King Living for updates and to make progress payments before the delivery date. Two weeks ago we rang and made a progress payment of $2k and were told we would be contacted in the next week or two to organise delivery as our couch is due to arrive mid December. Again, we heard nothing at all. Today we rang to get an update and they told us that our couch is due for delivery next Tuesday 20th and to please pay the full amount today which we have done (even though no one rang us in that period of time to advise of delivery date). An hour later we received a text message saying King Living have been trying to contact us and but have no been able to get a hold of us therefore our delivery has now been allocated for end of January 2023. NO ONE has contacted us today from delivery or customer services to advise of anything! Shame on you for lying and treating your customers this way. We have phone call history proof that we have not received any phone calls or emails from you today trying to organise anything. This is unacceptable and we will be taking this further. SHAME ON YOU KING LIVING. I would not recommend anyone go through this lying company!

"Worst customer service and No explanation about storage fee" We are building house so the delivery date was not 100% sure & we explained that when we have purchased. After a while we told King Furniture the new house is still under construction(which happens to all constructios!) & need to delay the delivery date, then we were told at FIRST TIME that they only keep furniture for 2 weeks then storage fee ($100/week) will incur. My husband & I went back to King Living Cheltenham and we told them that we've never heard about storage fee. The staff who served us kept telling us she told us about the storage fee (which she never did!) & I wasn't at the shop when she explained about storage fee(which I was always there with my husband!). They also kept telling us that we've signed the contract with that delivery date & nothing they can do. I wish we knew we'll have to pay storage cost then we would have put the later delivery date.. All they cared was to defend themselves & No customer service spirit. The fact that we were there at 9:30am on Saturday and the front door was locked(supposed to open at 9am). We could see that they were too busy chatting & didn't realise we are at the front door trying to tell them to open the door for 5 minutes shows how unprofessional they were. We spent $13k and wish we've chosen somewhere else.. Very disappointed customer here.

Good staff are hard to find. The great ones work at King Furniture from our experience. Their showroom staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and understand their after order process production timing & delivery date booked at time of purchase. Our Sales Consultant Dee at Cheltenham Showroom left us fully confident , we were looked after. So-Fa. So Great! Our delivery was confirmed a week before, a day before with a 3 hour window and start time. Their delivery team were Harry & Shaiker and on time. Very professional, an efficient unpacking process, assembled with a mini tutorial by Harry who has extensive knowledge of the company brand & presents a professional customer service ability. Our heavy lifter and his support was Shaiker who carefully unpacked , removed rubbish with great care and good humour for such a physical job. Last impressions matter, the final product of the sofa exceeded my expectations , confirming that quality has a price tag , as well customer service excellence included. Thank you.

I p[laced an order in November or December for a large sum of money. three couches and two sun lounges. We were given a delivery date in March. Close to that date I followed up to check in, they said it would be delayed until the 30th of March. Today the 30th, I took the day off work. I arranged to be home all day only to receive a text message at 12pm saying to call king about our order ASAP. I called and was told oh yeah, it'll be the 20th of April now. I said are you serious? You have a customer call on the day of delivery and then tell them it's not coming for another 3 weeks? They didn't care, talk about bad customer service. For the price of this furniture they should be calling their customers and telling them of delays well in advance. They know the containers are going to be late, well before the delivery date. I do not see why we have to call them. I will never shop at King again and unless you like being giving the run around stay away. Spend your money elsewhere.

Ordered a bed package over 6 months ago and the delivery was delayed twice. Once the bed package was delivered, we realised they have sent us the wrong brackets for the lights and side tables. Once I contacted the showroom, they were not able to provide a timeline as when this could be resolved. So we have the lights and sides table lying on the floor unable to be utilised. This is simply not good enough when you pay close to 10K for a bed. I’m very disappointed of the total customer experience and lack of service from King sales team at Cheltenham when you have paid for these items in full but unable to enjoy products that we have purchased. I’m a repeat customer who have purchased from King living before. However my recent experience left me not wanting to buy anything from them again. Strongly recommend AGAINST this over priced furniture which under delivers in many aspects of customer service.

Its a shame there are no minus stars as i would rate them a -10 let me begin by saying worst product on the market i spent over $18k yes $18k quick to take the money and than quick with all the excuses from delivery time to no issue with all the cushions failing and they are all memory foam there strategy is to send you around in circle with there customer serving more there robots as they are reading from instruction manual which does not include customer service we have had the coach just over 2 years and there attitude is simple BADLUCK so i have now taken the matter on a diffrent level and have arrange signage to be placed on a one of my trucks and i will have the the product for people to view in front of there stores with the word lemon sofas lets see how quick they change there attitude this is now principal for my self and others affected with there product and after sales service

Bought a fleur 2.5 seater in February. Arrived FROM China in May, obviously without going through ANY quality control on arrival. Our sofa had ( still has!!) obvious manufacturing imperfections. Technician came to assess issues within 4 weeks ( June). Despite NUMEROUS, phone conversations, emails exchange, we are still waiting (December) for our sofa to be sent to the local manufacturing company to be fixed. CUSTOMER SERVICES… are polite BUT they never follow through with actions. A real disappointment from a reputable company like King Furniture. The quality of products and service are not worth the money anymore. (We are still using our 25 year old leather sofa… here we are talking quality product!) I wish I never bought my sofa at King Furniture…Could I please return the sofa and get my money back??

I was in the store today, as I require a recliner for an ongoing back issue, and my wife was confronted by an elderly grey haired man who was rude to my wife, smug and clearly having a bad day. I completely understand that we are all feeling the pressure lately but please let's not drop our standards to a level where we are being outright rude to each other. It's time to be kind to each other and not arrogant and rude. Needless to say I told the salesman that he had a terrible attitude and due to that I wouldn't buy from him or King Living. There are plenty of businesses that would love customers at the moment and sales are hard to get for most, do the right thing and be civil - it doesn't cost you $1.

Had wonderful helpful service by both Cheltenham and Southbank store. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Delivery was delayed by 3 weeks but we had excellent communication. Delviery guys were on time and polite and tidy. We had an electrical issue with a recliner and I emailed and received an email the next day. This was followed up a few days later asking if we had been contacted by service department. Advised I hadn't. Service department called and arranged time. Arrived on time and fixed the issue. Have been very happy with service. I have read all the bad reviews and was worried that we would face the same but not so. We have had wonderful customer service and product support.

Do not ever buy king furniture. I placed my order in December -22, Still it has not reached to me today is 08.05.23. They order from china and my order was schedule to be delivered in mid March -23.I was told they had shipment delay and getting two weeks delay. when they were ready in Mid April i was not available. They sent my order to a storage and i paid the full price . After paying the full price they did not confirm the delivery FROM THEIR END and kept in the storage . Now nearly 06 months gone and after paying the full price i still have not received it. Really disappoint .No recommendations.

I have previous purchased a number of products from King Living prior to living overseas, for the price is was overall good furniture. I visited the Cheltenham store during the week and overall I was disappointed. I feel like the quality of the products has dropped and there was nothing really new and exciting in the way of there range. On another note I find it hard to buy furniture from a 'luxury shop' which doesn't have the care to mow it laws / clear weeds around it's building and care park, just a tip for a 'luxury shop' it's not a good look.

I had a terrible experience with King Living Furniture. I purchased a Quay table in January 2022, but it arrived with a broken extension leaf. Replacements were promised but were delayed multiple times. I received several mismatched replacement leaves and faced lots of communication issues. I sought help from Consumer Affairs and they advised and I requested a full refund or resolution by March 31. Finally, after numerous problems and over 30 phone calls, I received a full refund on June 8 2023. I vow to never deal with King Living again.

We bought whole house furniture from King and everything that could possibly go wrong, went wrong. 1. Extremely long delays in delivery, 2. wrong items being delivered 3. missing items 4. No communication between store staff and delivery staff 5. Rude staff 6. damaged items delivered 7. No communication to the customer 8. Had to organise my own removalist for delivery as Kind couldn't confirm if and when they would deliver my items and many more issues...... I would never go back to King to purchase anything anymore.

Had an amazing experience at King today - we were helped by Jacob Irons, who helped us style all the rooms we needed. He was in no way pushy, very accomodating while taking us through all our options and making great suggestions and kept the store open for us while we finalised everything. Couldn’t rate him more highly! And King furniture is fantastic, always have a great experience at the Moorabbin location. Thanks again Jacob and team. Cheers, Maddi and Jez

Bought 3 seater couch and single seater couch all electric recliners . Had problem with one electric recline seat not working. The Couche is still under warrantee. Rang for service infect rang four times now for service ,have been waiting 6 weeks for someone to come out. There service is discussing, been told waiting for parts but they haven't even inspected the problem to see what's wrong .Its been just excuses. Don't know how they keep there customers.

If I could give less than 1 star that would be to good! I spent over 10k instore. The fabric on my chair started changing colour and it was due to the glue they used. I called them back n November 22 and they only picked the chair up for repairs in May 23. I called again in June only to be lied to and then opening admitted to by the customer service manager that they have lost my chair !!! Absolute joke for your prices. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

Exceptional service from start to finish from Ashley Gowora. I came in and told her what I wanted to purchase she showed me a few lounges and told me what was in stock and I bought it and had it delivered two weeks later. It arrived today and the delivery guys were so professional! I highly recommend this King Living store. I have purchased a lot from them and will continue to do so. Similar to many other reviews before me, staff here have no concept of customer service. Spent half an hour in this store and did not receive a hello or any acknowledgement whatsoever. Completely understand that some staff were tied up however no one even bothered to say hello when we walked around the showroom or asked if we needed help. Manners can go a long way. Hoping staff at your other stores are better than this.

If i could give zero stars i would. An absolute shambles of a company, customer service reps couldn't care less about the issue at hand. No one in the store cares about a resolution, Delivery drivers waiting 5 minutes to then leave and not be contactable via phone. The list goes on. The standard of service is beyond disgraceful. How can no one be held accountable for this? My advice take your money else where

Lovely Cheltenham staff but King Living is poorly let down by its terrible online team and customer support. Our chairs arrived in an appalling condition and despite attempts to raise the issue, no one has been in contact. For a product that is meant to be superior and tailored and for a brand that makes you wait MONTHS for delivery, this has been a terrible experience.

If you like pretty good up front service in the showroom, followed by an absolutely terrible, never keep commitments, couldn’t care less attitude delivery team, then this is the place for you. Can’t comment on the product itself as still haven’t received it all 7 months after placing an order. Wish I'd read the other reviews on here before doing business with them.

I ordered a king size bed and matching ottoman nearly 8 months ago and so far have experienced issues with the manufacturing standards and quality, missing pieces, delayed delivery dates and poor/near non-existent customer service. I have now had to resort to involving Consumer Affairs Victoria. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Ordered a table in April. Got delivered September with the table legs ONLY. Trying for hours on end to get a resolution on where my table top is. No one can help me. Bad service for an EXPENSIVE product. Very disappointed at the lack of communication and what seems to be lack of care for returning customers.

Such wonderful customer service from Jacob in the showroom. Not only did he help us and was patient with us choosing our wonderful king size bed but he went beyond. 5 stars to you Jacob! Thanks for your excellent customer service. Products here are worth the money and the staff are so professional.

Absolute joke of a supply chain. Was advised in March when placing an order delivery would be early May. It's now July and they have rescheduled for the 4th time to late August because of a 'delay". Bunnings deck chairs getting really uncomfy, please send cushions. King clearly can't source a couch.

Great service from Chantelle today at the Cheltenham store. She was very patient and explained the order process in detail. She went out of her way providing swatches, explaining options and accessories. She even gave me a store to check out for some bed linens. All in all a great experience.

I have 2 King couches now. The first has needed some replacement parts as it is over 10 years old and the team at Cheltenham are always happy to just hand over a replacements! Worth spending the money for beautiful comfortable furniture which lasts.

My experience so far with King Living is light years away from the negative one star reviews. The showroom and service(Kamilia Elkhoury) has been outstanding. I have ordered a King Cloud 3 due in June so still some way to go but so far so good.

Best customer service I’ve had in years. Francis was exceptional, worked out a customised Furniture layout using our house plans, went through colours, sizes, textures, and even put them all side by side to work out our perfect combination.

Great staff always on the ball with service So many fabric choices and options with their furniture. Logistic needs to get better as when I was sent to go pick up my furniture they sent 2 completely wrong addresses.

Delivery was smooth. Communication system is really good, and helpful. Kirby was brilliant. I did have an an issue with partial delivery and he bent over backwards to help, going above and beyond. 10/10 to him.
