"Great park to take the dogs to and ride the bikes at"
"I'm so lucky as this beauitful park is opposite my homeand so nice and safe for everyone especially dog walkers"
"Excellent bike/scooter/rollerblade/rollerskate/skateboard path leading to a good playground at one end and a nice little slope for the more daring kids at the other end"
"Disc golf course is not hard to hit par on the 12 holes, has many hazards and some awkwardly positioned trees"
"A small park, near the Beudesert road, so it's a little bit noise"
Great park to take the dogs to and ride the bikes at. Pity there is so much litter that gets washed down the pretty little creek that runs through. Nice and quiet, a perfect reflection of the surrounding suburbs and their peaceful ambience. The council also seems to keep the grounds very well looked after - as in, the grass cut and the pathways maintained.
I'm so lucky as this beauitful park is opposite my homeand so nice and safe for everyone especially dog walkers...the creek looks great now that it's had a tidy up by council. Bike riding and anything with wheels(skate boards, roller blades etc etc) so check it out you'll like Kookabarra Park …
Excellent bike/scooter/rollerblade/rollerskate/skateboard path leading to a good playground at one end and a nice little slope for the more daring kids at the other end. Most importantly, no onsite coffee shop or toilets.
Disc golf course is not hard to hit par on the 12 holes, has many hazards and some awkwardly positioned trees. Grass gets long at times, but usually worth the trip. Pretty good.
A small park, near the Beudesert road, so it's a little bit noise. No toilets and not many people there: ( but you can see a lot of beautiful wild birds there:))
The equipment at this park is all too high. Kids needs to be very tall to be able to use a lot of the equipment. No bathrooms, no water taps.
It's a great place but quite unkept with long grass, lots of debris from rains and recent flooding, making it almost impossible to cross
Beautiful local park with a creek running through it, with a dog park and a new disc golf course which all the cool kids play.
Nice 12 hole disc golf place. Just remember hole 2 teepad is near the street end and beyond its pin is a marshy creek.
Great park. Plenty of space. Dog off leash area. Can walk over the bridge to 2nd kids play area. A good walking park.
Has a disc golf course but many of the holes are near the creek. Highly likely you will lose a disc if not careful.
Lovely park for a walk and ride. There is also a playground with water and a picnic table and grill near by.
Great spot, very quiet on the day Wynston and I were there.
Dog-friendliness
Clean and set-up well.
Kookaburra Park is a large local park at Rocklea. There is a modern playground and lots of walking paths.
A large well-maintained park area that is hidden away and regularly during heavy rains turns into a lake.
This park is great. So close to city but big open spaces for dogs and activities.
nice little quiet, forgotten park. might be more busy during after school hours.
A nice park for walking and running. Some nice playgrounds are missing.
