Worst hairdressing experience ever. I went to get my hair done at L'Etoile Elite the other day and requested a pastel rosé blonde. What I got was a yoghurty, cotton candy like haircolor and some parts of my hair were almost white, after telling my hairstylist that I think it's too white she and the other workers of the salon tried to convince me otherwise even tho I didn't like it, however, she told me I could come back if I didn't like it. I went to the checkout and had to pay 660$ - nobody told me the price before so I was a bit shocked. The next day I woke up and didn't like my hair at all. There were some white parts, some pink parts and some blonde parts. I went back to the salon and asked if she can make it darker - after the second color my hair was GREY - proper grandma grey - it looked horrible as my hair was grey and I had 5 different colors in my hair. I asked for a refund because I didn't want to have spent 660$ on having grey and damaged hair. They told me I could get a refund if I texted a certain e-mail address. After a few messages I never heard back from the lady and I never got a refund. Horrible experience. Don't go there there are MUCH better hairdressers in Sydney!!

Had the best haircut and colour of my life from this place. People walked across rooms and turned around to come and compliment me on the style. I’ve been going to this place for years and I’ve always had the best haircuts from Eddie with continuous ongoing compliments from the people in my life. Outstanding hair and customer service from the team always. In 13 years I wasn’t pleased only once with the hair colourist who no longer works there. I was too embarrassed to say anything but I told Rosalie next time and Eddie did my colour and he went to exceptional efforts and lengths in the bleaching process to make sure my hair was perfect. This is important to me as I get my scalp bleached and coloured to blonde. He took my hair to a professional next level that added to and built my appearance. It always feels like I’m returning to friends when I go back to the salon. I’ve been in and out of Sydney over the years but Eddie always gets me back to a look. Eddie is next level creative. If you tell him what you want he’ll listen and work with that. If you collaborate and trust him and let him do his art he will give you next level hair. He is a genius with hair

Eddie, don’t you want my money?? I can’t believe what you have done to my hair - for that matter no one else can believe it either. I have purposely waited quite a while before posting this review. This is what you have done. You have cut my hair in a way that actually suits the shape of my head. So what does that result in? It means that you have saved me huge amounts of both money and time. I was always at the hairdressers - again spending time and money. I now no longer do that.... Further with the cut you have tailor made the cut especially for the shape of my head and face - you have saved me needing and paying for anti wrinkle treatment on my forehead. So not are you only saving me time and money now you have created a hair style that is saving me money for the future. In summary Eddie, you have created tailor made art with your scissors for my needs so I will only let you cut my hair now and in the future. A very sincere thank you. Plus the fact so many people have said I look younger - I have been asked who my beautician is!! Alexandra

I was beyond excited to have my hair cut after a long 8 months in lockdown. I have never been more upset with my hair. After deciding on a good amount of hair to chop off, at least 2-3 inches Eddie decided that he didn’t need to listen and chopped my hair off an extra two inches. I asked to keep the length and almost cried at the length of my hair. Not to mention I have natural curlier hair so it will be even shorter! Which Eddie knew as I wore my hair naturally into the salon. I always have layers in my hair as I found the curls sit nicer, Eddie told me I don’t need layers and after seeing the length chopped I agreed as I was scared of him going near me with scissors again. He was so arrogant and rude and was like “yes thank you, I told you I don’t need layers.” Please don’t come hear unless you want to be left disappointed.

Purchased Keratin treatment voucher! Keratin treatment didn't last, waste of money!! The hairdresser convinced me my highlights were bad & I needed a refresh. Promised me my hair would look/feel better & look healthier!! $550 later, hated the colour too much warmth with the highlights, keratin was the worst I had ever had & hair was frizzy walking out of the salon! The hairdresser insisted it looked great but it didn't & had to go elsewhere to look normal again. Would not trust them even to do a simple blow dry! Worst hairdressing experience I have ever had. Most expensive & was not happy. Felt scammed.

Tried few hair dressers around city in past few years but I think I have found the perfect one! They take time to understand what you want rather than rushing through. I have had a hair cut ( forgot his name but he was great) and went back again for a blow dry with Eddie for a wedding I had to attend . Had the best compliments ever for my hair, it looked perfect. George is great with blow drying as well, I must say all of them are very professional and great in their job!! I can’t stop raving about the place must try!! Highly recommend the place. I am going to be a regular :)

Wow! I was in Sydney for the day and was wanting to buy time. Had not had a hair cut for 2 years due to being a new mother. I found this salon walking on foot and the advertising sign stood out to me. From walking in i was welcomed and made to feel valuable to the business. The service of wash, cut, style. All of it was the best service ive had since being Australia. I will be coming here every time i come to sydney. I got compliments from every person i encountered for days about my hair. I am thrilled with the outcome of my hair. Eddie, Rosie and Andrew the colourist did a fantastic job! All I needed was a gloss (semi permanent colour) - in brown. I had dyed my brown hair with blonde highlights 10 months prior, and after dying it brown in June, i still had some unpleasant orange / lighter tinges coming through; so Eddie and the team fixed that up in a matter of 70 minutes! I would highly recommend the team here, they are efficient and get the job done with very happy customers.

Exceptional service and customer service every time I come here, I’ve been getting my hair coloured & styled by Eddie since 2008 and I haven’t looked back since, best salon in Sydney! Also, just started getting my fillers & Botox by Dr Raphael, he listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered more than what I expected! Not to mention I’ve been getting my manicures/pedicures and waxing here , it’s so convenient getting it done all in the same place. Love this place, thank you so much guys

I am so grateful to have found the wonderful L'Etoile Elite salon. Eddie has saved my hair from disastrous haircuts a few times in my life. Eddie is a hair magician, with the most passionate heart. He truly loves what he does and you can feel it! I have never met a hair stylist who actually understands face-shapes and knows how to frame hair in a way that would make each individual's face look its best! The salon itself is luxurious and soothing and everyone in their team is just lovely!

Absolutely fantastic hair salon! We found out minutes before we were supposed to be at another hairdresser that they had closed permanently. We had our work Christmas party that day and we weren't from the area. A quick google search nearby and we found L'Etoile Elite. Amazingly they fit us in right there and then and did our hair so nicely. The three of us had rave reviews all day about how nice our hair looked. It worked out best for us in the end! Will come back again for sure.

When I first moved from the Uk nearly three months ago, the struggle to find a hair salon was real! I came across L’Etoile Elite and I can easily say it’s the most warm, accommodating and best salon I’ve been to. Eddie and his team have made me feel so welcome from the first time I went in! It’s always such a pleasure and I leave the salon feeling like a new person. The results are amazing and the care and quality that is provided is exceptional. I would 100% recommend to anyone!

I came for a keratin straightening via ClassPass and there was a confusion through the app in terms of pricing for certain lengths of hair. The friendly staff of this place offered me to chat to the owner about it and found a compromise that seemed really fair to me and I generally was getting treated very well. The result of the treatment is great too, my hair looks smooth and healthy. I’d definitely come back!

Wow, what a great find!! I was in Sydney for a few days in desperate need for a trim. I booked an 8am appointment with Sachea at L’Etoile Elite. By 8:45am, I received an excellent cut and blow dry with very friendly service. Because it was a trim, rather than a styling, I was only charged $75, instead of the quoted $125. The salon is spotless, well fitted out and decorated. I’m delighted

I was down for a wedding and just happened to see the sign on the footpath for the salon. After a quick chat with Eddie, I was booked in for the following day. He and the staff made me feel welcome. By the time I walked out, I felt like a million dollars. My hair was silky smooth and styled beautifully. Thank you for fitting me in your very busy schedule.

Excellent service — Eddie, the owner of the salon effectively fit me in at the eleventh hour for colour and extensions after my original hairdressing salon misremembered my appointment and I was turned away by 7 other salons. Not only this, but made me feel welcomed and did a wonderful job at a reasonable price point. 10/10 would recommend.

While welcoming, the cut was not okay. I asked for a graduated cut down the face. All else, a little trim.. I think what I got was hacked hair around my face, not asked how I would like it to be blow dried, no body, no style...shame, for 40 years of hair cutting experience..

I always love going to Etoile! It's a wonderful all round experience. Eddie is a master hairdresser and his staff are all lovely. Just had a cut, colour and a keratin treatment, very happy with it. Have had lots of compliments on my hair since. Great service!

This is a great place, if you are after skilled professionals to look after your hair! My wife has been visiting them for years and today i accompanied her!! Highly recommended by my sweetheart!
