My companion and I love good pasta , so based on the reviews we’d seen here, we had high hopes for L'Osteria. Things started out well enough, with a friendly, knowledgeable waiter. We began with a tasty Mediterranean salad which came with olive and pimento spreads and two cold bread rolls. Quite some time after we’d finished the salad our pasta arrived. My companion ordered the tagliatelle alla boscaiola and I had carbonara with pappardelle noodles. The pasta was fresh, as promised, but the parts that had not been sauced were a bit dry, while the sauces themselves had a skin on them - obviously they’d been left too long sitting under a heat lamp. This might have been not so bad, but the carbonara seemed to be lacking in the eggy flavor you expect and was made with pancetta rather than guanciale. The restaurant might saved a few Leke using pancetta instead of guanciale, but the difference between them is night and day. There was also no trace of pecorino romano cheese, nor was any offered. The sausage in my companions boscaiola, meanwhile, was tasteless, gray, limp and sad affair - clearly no effort had been made to brown it to bring out the flavor. The only saving grace of our outing here was that the waiter forgot to deliver the sausage I’d ordered for my mains, thus saving me from additional mediocrity. Finally, after a long wait, our pasta bowls, half eaten, were cleared, and we finished up with the only desert available that day, a nondescript panacotta. In our search for great pasta in the city, I expect it will be quite a long time before we circle back to L'Osteria

Went in a rainy night, nobody was dinning, I was the only one, nobody in the reception, I said hello hello a couple of times and nobody attended me, but, I saw that there were people in the kitchen and here the unbelievable... they noticed I was waiting at the entrance, but maybe they didn't want to work and nobody appeared in the reception, they just ignored me. After a third try saying hello someone appeared and I asked if there were service, she said one moment but after a minute waiting and no one appeared I decided to leave. I really do not understand why to keep open if you don't want to attend the people

I can recommend stopping by for awesome stuff with truffle, one of the best in my life. My friends who are vegetarian were satisfied with the soup and risotto. The pasta made there was insanely good. You can choose between different types of pasta which enrich the experience as a whole. As for the service it was really nice, the waiter keeps pouring us wine which was heartwarming if you keep in mind we are here during winter ☃️

Tonight I had dinner at THE best pasta restaurant in Tirana. I had a delicious ravioli with mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and saffron. It was absolutely yum. The presentation was also top notch. The house wine was pretty good for its price. But the best part of the whole experience was the super kind and friendly service ❤️. Not only was the waiter super funny, he was entertaining, kind and accommodating. If you feel like a good (vegetarian) pasta - try L’Osteria

5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food here is absolutely delicious. The chef's wife shops daily for fresh seasonal produce and her husband cooks Italian style. Pasta, risotto, salads, the house wine plus so much more is all fabulous. The gratis bread and dip is an added bonus and I must say the waiter Egle (Not sure how to spell his name) is fantastic also. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a slightly up market restaurant without up market prices. Go!

Restorant and staff we're very nice, the soup was delicious (L'Osteria Soup), and the grilled sea plate also very tasty, but the main reason me and the wife went there was the pasta (4.8. rating reataurant) but it was horrible, she had the tagliateli with pesto and shrimp, overcooked and disgusting, i had the sea fruit risoto, smelled really bad. Overall twas a disappointing experience, sorry!

Dinner was so delicious, every course flavoursome, fresh and beautifully presented. Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. An upmarket restaurant without being overpriced or pretentious.The house wine was really good quality and very drinkable. I highly recommend dining here for impeccable food and service

Absolutely delicious! Everything was perfect from the food, the atmosphere, the service (I think his name was Adrian or Arian). The service was outstanding. Don't hesitate to give this place a try. My only regret was I was to full to try the dessert. Thanks L'Osteria was a wonderful meal!

Found this great restaurant via Google and the previous reviews left. We had such a great meal the starter was divine and staff very attentive. Great value for the money, and as other people have said they could charge a lot more….glad they don’t….one of Tirana’s best kept secrets.

Absolutely delightful end of our stay in Albania. Little confused waiter was no issue, because he easily corrected his misuderstood mistakes. Food was delicious, especially the Tiramisu, definitelly the best Tiramisu I’ve ever ate. I recommend this place if you ever visit Tirana.

The food here is pretty incredible. I had the steak with potatoes. It was so soft and easy to cut. After the choc brownie with ice cream was amazing. The environments nice, can I recommended replacing the nosiy fridge as it was initially off putting. Recently discovered the amazing upstairs area. No reason not to come.

Best restaurant in town. We were lucky to taste delicious fresh porcini and best fresh pasta so far. Very good service and a good menu with reasonable prices. We will definitely come back, especially for the good quality of food.

Super cute restaurant with excellent curb-side appeal. An intimate dining room with just 4-5 tables, a wide variety of fresh, homemade (and delicious!) pastas and very drinkable house wine make this a perfect option for couples looking to have a romantic dinner together!

Fantastic pasta and plenty of vegetarian options!

Food was very good. Unfortunately service was a little slow on the night that i went. Not the servers fault. He was on his own. One guy serving at least 5 or possibly more tables. Not fair on him at all. I guess someone called in sick at the last minute

Loved dining here! The food is amazing and the staff very welcoming. Will definitely come again.

Wow! Loved everything. The soup was so good and super filling! The waiter was super attentive, and the menu is quite big. I’ll definitely come back and try out other things!

Warning: closed on Sunday's. We went later this week (after the comment on this review) and it's really delicious food. Also for vegetarians there are lots of options and not just risotto. :-)

The prices were very reasonable, the service was good. Unfortunately, the bolognese had little meat, it was almost only pasta.

As an half Italian person, I can assure you you will not be disappointed, the pasta was absolutely delicious, so tasty, I will come back for sure if I’m around, just go !

I have gone to this restaurant several times, I tried many dishes and they all taste amazing. Great service too and the ambient is calm and quiet.
