It is terminating station on red line. This station is gateway to Eastern suburbs. It is more spacious compared to other stations. The extension up to Hayatnagar is viable as sufficient traffic it finds as well further ease in the painful city travel. All Hyderabad metro train stations comprise of three levels of infrastructure i.e. Street Level, Concourse Level and Platform level and connected through Steps, Lifts and escalators. Besides necessary and useful for metro commuters, most useful to the people who cross the busy roads. The powder rooms are also useful for everyone but needs to be better maintained.
L B Nagar metro station is the last stop on the red line from Miyapur. The Red Line metro is a 30 kilometers approximately line that runs between L.B.Nagar and Miyapur with 27 stations covering the distance in about 60 minutes. LB Nagar Metro Station is good and neatly maintained, it is one of the metro corridor LB Nagar - Miyapur in Hyderabad, this is the First station for the passengers travelling to Miyapur and End station for the return journey passengers. Staff at the station are very friendly and helpful, lifts are available for senior citizens and disabled people, well connected with local transport and good space for parking.
Finally, after a long wait the station opened much to the relief of commuters from this part off the city. A major hub in itself because it is close to the junction of Inner ring road and Vijayawada highway. Clean as of now. With the bus stop right beneath it and a small free 2 wheeler parking available, it is easily accessible. No 4 wheeler parking arrangement yet. Since it is the last point, seats are normally available easily.
LB nagar metro station is the last and end station for red line which passes through Miyapur, Kukatpally, Ameerpet, Khairtabad, Koti, Dilsukhnagar and many other prime locations of the city. 1st metro train starts at early morning 7:00 AM and the last one is at 22:00 PM which runs towards Miyapur and u can easily get out of the city and travel to Vijayawada and to the ORR.
Great service. This station is quite bigger and busy within a week of starting the service. Big stairs and escalator serves many. Get ur smart card although u don’t commute regularly. It’s hassle free. Available for ₹150 with ₹100 as balance. This station is close to D-mart and easily accessible. The only thing is this station ends well before the LB Nagar Cross roads.
It's again like all the other metro stations, crowded during the rush hours and normal during the other day time. So, if you are travelling during the morning 7:30-11 or after 4 in the evening then you will eventually find lots of people travelling. However, the metro has efficiency to handle the crowd, but seating place is something to be discussed upon.
Opened very recently (24th September 2018) so not so crowded yet. But the station is fully open.More spacious compared to other metro stations. Scanning your luggage before going into the station might be an issue for female passengers as the scanner is right next to the men's entry and quite a walk from the ladies line.
Nice area Good people Easy to travel anywhere in hyderabad Easy to travel to my village. Nice atmospere.... As residing in the place for more than one year,I met a lot of people from various cities and places resembling unity in diversity. The longest line in Metro network is Red line containing 27 stops and the lost stop is LB nagar starts from Miyapur.
It is a central place . One can go towards vijayawada, secunderabad, airport mehindipatnam. All routes bus services available. And moreover towards miyapur metro starts from here. But bus shelter s not there. So crowded place and irregular parking of autos and all types if vehicles.
LB Nagar metro station is the starting point of redline. If you want to travel to the city and escape traffic, Metro is the best choice. Nearby Places: D-Mart L.B.Nagar Hospital RTC Colony Hanuman Temple Steel Factory Takshashila High School Prajay Brand Factory
Well maintained station. Cleanliness is on point. But restrooms were not marked properly plus there are not much staff for help regarding directions and all. Otherwise a very nice metro station. Security who do the pat down are also very nice and cooperative.

Very well located station. Presently it's a terminal but in future it may be extended towards Hayathnagar or Ramoji Film City side. Also Nagole-LB Nagar Link is being planned. Staff are extremely helpful.
Now a days metro seems to be unhygienic and uncomfortable to the passengers as they are not maintaining properly, cleanliness is the issue I have been seeing currently….!!
Now the area is little better than before. After the flyover the traffic was reduced near by places also. For now, it is the starting point towards miyapur (METRO).
It's changed a lot in recent years with zero signal.. traffic free zone it's smooth and well maintained by the GHMC and local politicians and business man.
Worst employees... Worst hospitality...worst maintenance... Worst customer care... Worst security... Worst behaviour... Such a waste metro station...
It's a largest residential colony in Hyderabad and in India as well. You can find beautiful shopping, food courts with Multi national brands.
